This place is terrible. I've used them 3 times and only because my normal place and back-up are booked. I just picked my dog up after 9 days and he couldn't wait to get out of that place. He is visibly dirty and filthy and stinks beyond belief. I've already found several fleas which he has never had!!!! I gave them 10 days of food and half of it returned. I'm sure my dog didn't eat at first but half the food returns tells me they are neglecting my dog. My dog had a bad upbringing before I adopted him so he has trust issues, but the other 2 places I board him at have had ZERO issues and constantly report he's loving and playful, at first needed to trust them but they showered him with love and kindness and he trusts them. This place reports that my dog is constantly aggressive and trying to bite them which makes me wonder what they do at that kennel. I was told that they no longer will board my dog and after I picked him up and can see his physical and mental state, I would never bring my dog to this place again. If you love your dog, don't bring them here. Not to mention, they tell me all of this after I pay and leave a tip. Bad business practice!!!!

We took our German Shepard here for a weekend, and we brought him in with a muzzle because he's not always receptive to new people. We dropped him off Friday and picked him up Sunday. When we picked him up, he didn't have his leash or muzzle on and was just walking alongside the lady. So he was obviously comfortable and around people he trusted. I guess my only suggestion is to make sure you have everything you left with them so you don't have to make an extra trip back.

I have a hard time trusting anyone with my dog, but Happy Trails is wonderful! When searching for boarding for my Great Dane, what really stood out to me was that the kennels are very spacious and they let the dogs out more often then other places. The staff are very friendly and the customer service is great! This is the only place that I’ll ever board my dog.

I bring my dog (Milo the lab) here for daycare more often that I originally planned, just because of how happy he gets when he goes in. This almost 7 year old dog is jumping around like a puppy, happy and vibrating with wiggles to be there. I've never seen him behave like this for a daycare , and I travel full time with him all around the country, moving every couple months, he's been a lot of places . He is also happy when I pick him up and it's clear he's had a great day and is TIRED and ready for dinner and bed. He goes home and sleeps the whole rest of the day! They have also been awesome with responses and servive, I once unexpectedly had to leave him overnight and they were totally fine with it and took care of my boy so well. I love bringing him here, thanks to the team doing such a great job.

Upon my dog’s first visit to HappyTrails he was excited to come and play. Subsequent visits he was eager to return. Prior to my first visit, I requested a tour of the facilities that was pleased at the care and attention they have to the variety of animals they serve.The staff is attentive ; it shows that they care. I think the prices are very reasonable

Seemed like a great place and the dogs seemed very happy. Our older dog has bad case of kennel cough when I picked him up after one week. Nothing was said to me about it, which was disappointing, and he was coughing right in front of them. It is very contagious so likely he got it from a dog their.

For as long as we've had our Border Collie (10 years) we've trusted his care and feeding to Happy Trails when we go on vacations. He feels at home there and the owners and staff know him by name. Great dog people who truly care about the wellfare of our furry family member.

I worked for the Andersons 6 years or so ago and they really love the animals that stay there, they treat them as there own, not sure if Dakota still works there but I would see him go into the buildings and if there was a sad dog or anything he would personally take the dog to the yard and play fetch or take it to the office and hang out with it, honestly a great group of animal lovers!!!!! And Awesome people, I would trust them with my dogs anytime!!!! Not sure where the negative comments come from but they are far from the truth!!

This was our first time at Happy Trails and Lexi (GS) and I are pretty happy we came. I got a tour of the different areas where the kennels were, and to my surprise, it smelled clean! Lexi was enjoying herself out in one of the play areas when I came to pick her up. It’s a bit far for us, but for the price and cleanliness of the place, we will be going back.

We left our two little friends (both under 15 lbs and elderly). This was the first time we didn't have family watch them . We were very "happy" with them. The staff was kind to humans and four legged friends. I called ahead to see what vaccinations were required. Everything was seamless; will DEFINITELY use them again!

Both of my dogs stayed at Happy Trails over the Thanksgiving break (11/27/19 to 11/30/19). About a week later they developed kennel cough. When we called to inquire if other animals reported a similar issue after staying at Happy Trails they admitted to having an animal in their care that had kennel cough about a week prior to our dogs stay. So now we are out the $170 dollars for the boarding and another $150 in vet bills. Lesson learned.

My big girl rescue,Molly, has been a regular customer for Spa Day, and she always is wagging her tail,ready to go thru the door to get started. If she didn't like the treatment ,she wouldn't be so happy. I have been very pleased with her fresh look after her visit.

We left our dog here for a week over the Thanksgiving holidays. When we picked her up she cowered and was depressed for 2 days. We had measured her food for the time she would be here and 2/3 of it was returned upon pickup . She had a large lump on her lip, and wouldn’t move for almost 24 hours. When we asked what happened we were told she had been isolated from the other dogs because during her first time she was too hyper . They didn’t have time to deal with her because they were over crowded for the holiday so they separated her for 8 days!!! Not only are we upset because our dog has been depressed from the pure neglect . We paid them for a quality of care and service that was not received . When I called to speak about this, the man I spoke to was honest and kind. I’ve yet for the owner to reach out and apologize for the horrific experience that was given based on his judgement of how to handle a “hyper” dog. We should have been called on the very first day when this decision was made so that we could have made other arrangements for her. I am very saddened and angry by this experience. We will never use their services again .

I have been with "Happy Trails" kennels since 1999, seventeen years, over the years it has changed ownership and made quite a few changes, but I have always been satisfied with the service, reception and dog care I have received .Last week, after booking 2 weeks in advance for my two Shepherds to be boarded, my husband went to drop them off . I keep impeccable records on all my dogs, never late for shots and each has their own health folder which I made sure my husband had.I use zoot as my vet as they are so thorough and knowledgeable .My one dog was almost refused for boarding as she had not received aLeptospirosis shot??. My other dog had as it was given by the rescue she came from.My whole family go to this kennel, all my rescue buddies use this kennel,Felt we were like family. After a nerve wracking dispute, this lad finally took my dogs and we made our flight on time.Requested the owner Troy call us on this, he did, and stated that the regulations do require a Leptospirosis shot?.Checked with my family and friends...none of their dogs required it??? Why just us??Here's an idea, list in the reception WHAT shots are required before boarding by anyone and everyone.Don't get stuck like we almost did, this is NOT a core vaccine, not required by other area kennels and the shots can be dangerous to some breeds and ages, usually given to hunting dogs ect.. I personally think they make up rules as they go along!Not cool!, not professional , not knowledgeable, or reliable. 😢

I recommend this place. Clean. Professional care. Courteous staff. Consistent with rates and requirements. Relaxed atmosphere for our Sheltie and Belgian Malinois. They were very caring for our two dog's well being.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. After one day of daycare my dog definitely wanted to go back.
