My little maltipoo was so sick and we didn’t know any veterinary hospitals close to our new home. When I searched , Georgetown Veterinary Hospital was the best rated pet hospital around so I called them and they gave me an appointment right away. The front staff and the technicians were so friendly and professional. Dr. Underwood was so understanding and caring, she listened and answered to all of my questions. She did all the necessary tests and started treating my dog quickly. When I left him there, I knew he was in good hands. He felt a lot better the next day and he was back to normal after 48 hours. I can’t thank the doctor and the staff enough. They saved my little dog’s life.

After getting the go around at our previous vet regarding our cat’s urinary issues, Dr. Johnson and her team are giving us the clarity and professionalism that we need. My appointment was at the end of the day, and Dr. Johnson and her awesome vet tech did not make me feel rushed in the slightest. I am so grateful for Georgetown Veterinary Hospital staff. Even if we don’t get the answers that we are hoping for, I know that Dr. Johnson and her team will give it their best effort to help our family. Thank you, GVH! 💛

I had a great experience with Dr. B and the assisting vet tech! Made sure I was well informed to take care of my kitty with kidney disease to give her a more comfy and healthy life. My cat also loved them very dearly.

Been in the Austin area since 1999 and this by far is the best Vet Hospital EVER ! There’s a Vet less than a quarter mile from me but I get an Uber costing me $$$ to go to Georgetown . My sweet fur daughter Shayna got a big splinter in her foot running in the yard and the Dr. personally came out to talk to me over what she was going to do etc. , they didn’t just have the Tech take her to the back , they put me at ease ! The compassion from everyone there INCLUDING Receptionists is amazing . You’re not just a number . I will never go anywhere else even if I moved 40 miles away , which I’m pretty close to that literally already . They go above and beyond and truly care . Love love love this place and so does my baby !!!

Everyone was great! Not only was it was obvious that the entire staff truly cares about the well being of your pet, but they’re also very knowledgeable and helpful in providing insights into how to care for your pet. Love this place. Dr. Haley is the best!!!The first time I ever came there back in 2016, she was so kind and compassionate to my 14 year-old Gracie, who had cancer (sarcoma) at the time. She came down to the floor to see her instead of making Gracie get on the table, and her demeanor immediately put Gracie (who HATED vet visits) at ease. She was straightforward with me in that moment, something no other vets were willing to do. There aren’t words to say how much I appreciated it.My experience with Dr. Haley that day was so positive, my parents started bringing their Odie to see her, even though they lived an hour away. Dr. Haley remained Gracie and Odie’s vet throughout the duration of their lives.My current dog, Millie, has seen multiple vets at GT Vet over the 5 years K have had her, and it’s always been a good experience. Dr. Haley just gave my Millie her final vet checkup before we move to the Northeast next week.I couldn’t ask for better care for my girls. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone. <3

The staff was very accommodating to my extremely anxious dog. They were patient with him and made sure he was comfortable before doing anything else. Highly recommend for anyone with an anxious/aggressive pet.

We’ve been taking our cats to Dr. Johnson for a few years now. She listened patiently to our questions and concerns and addressed them and provided recommendations. Overall we are happy with the doctor and staff there. I gave three stars here because I had follow-up questions about my cat’s blood work results as well as estimates for the recommended dental work. It’s been four days and no one has got back to us. We are definitely concerned of their lack of communication. If this wait time for response is considered normal for them, we will look into a different vet who takes our concerns for our pets more seriously.

I love this vet office! Dr. B and the staff here are amazing! CeCe was the sweetest tech, (they all are!) and everyone here treats us very special. I've noticed such a difference in my animals health, almost overnight it appears. The treatment and correct medication has been lifesaving for my animals and I can't thank the staff enough. Dr. B is so sweet and knowledgeable and it's such a relief to have her care for my babies! I'm on a fixed income, and they're able to work with me on treatment! The care and thoughtfulness is incredible...and they always call and follow up to see how my babies are doing after initial care! I've never had a veterinarian do that! Thank you to everyone in the office, I tell everyone about y'all!

Came here for a medication that few carry in the area for my dog - visited with Dr. Long and was really grateful for the visit. She told me her thoughts on what was going on with my dog after a thorough exam, and it was not what our previous vet had mentioned. I do believe Dr. Long is 100% correct and will continue to see her in the future. Entire staff was pleasant to deal with.

The team has always been very kind and helpful. They are great with my very vocal pup. They get us in and out very quickly and when we lost our boy a couple of years ago, they were so very sweet. She was super gentle and Comet didn't even seem phased by his first vet visit ever! Also the prices seem extremely reasonable compared to other vets that see "exotics"

I always have a great experience at Georgetown Vet Hospital. The staff are all patient and caring. The vets are so helpful and explain everything going on with your pet in detail. They will answer any questions you have. I definitely recommend them.

We were surprised to find that allergy shots for our dog went up $60 on our last visit. Initially, the shots were $60 cheaper because we are able to administer the shot ourselves, saving the vet time. Makes sense, right?However, now the medication is $60 more expensive even though we continue to administer the shot ourselves. There is no longer a discount for saving the vet time and sparing our dog an extra trip to the vet. When asked, no sufficient justification was given for the price change. Very much an “it is what it is” response. Easy enough, the office just wants to charge for the vet to administer the shot even if the vet is not needed to administer the shot.Prices go up, that’s to be expected. At least blow smoke up my skirt and sell me a line. At a minimum, try to justify the change in practices with a supply chain/economic/scarcity justification rather than just shrugging your shoulders. Not the case here. Disappointing.

Dr. Tackett and Amanda have been working with my Labrador and the Lab likes going for rehab so much that she doesn’t even need a leash, she just runs up to the door to get in. She was having trouble with her hips and has improved tremendously from working with them.Thank you so much for having a team that truly loves our pets.

Dr. Long is excellent with my umbrella cockatoo. She is thorough and takes her time. For quality care, this is where you should take your pet. The staff is very nice. They are worth the drive from where I live.

Complicated review- they are great vets and staff here. Friendly kind and good at what they do. But their prices are way too high. I was referred here by our normal vet- Old Town vet- for a dental issue. Found another vet in Betram to do same procedure for $500 less and an office visit cost me only $50. I'm willing to drive 20 miles to save that kind of money.

Super easy to schedule appointments with Georgetown Vet Hospital. They usually have fair availability, and can be contacted via phone or you can schedule online.Dr. Johnson as well as the techs are gentle and caring with the dogs (*pets) and always answer any questions. They are also super attentive and add any helpful into the pet’s file. The prices for the vet medical services are as expected and they are upfront about costs - if any questions, you just have to ask.

I honestly like the whole team there at Georgetown Veterinarian Clinic. Dr, Nichols is one of the best Vets I have ever met. She is very informative, and you can tell that she really cares. I have two dogs I’m taking to Georgetown Vet Clinic now, and soon I’ll be taking my 2 year old Congo African Grey! I feel like I’ve found a place that I can trust.

We have been going to G-Town Vet Hospital for years and have been happy however, recently we have seen some changes that are pushing us away. For example, while we appreciate the photos/paintings of animals in the lobby, the SIGNS (such as "the Free Things" and "Let's get Going" are completely inappropriate for a customer lobby. I read these and I was totally shocked - why would any office manager place signs like these in the Customer Lobby? The Lobby by the way looked very messy/drab. Additionally, our dog was in for a nail trim, when he came back from the back room, his collar was tightened too tight.
