This place is it, y'all! Galaxy Bakery is the BEST bakery in Central Texas. Located just off the Square in Georgetown, this cozy family-owned bakery offers the best baked goods. From their pastries and cheesecakes to their cookies and cupcakes, Galaxy Bakery dishes up a spectacular treat. Nothing compares.They offer a variety of goodies: cookies, pies, scones, many croissants, cheesecakes, cupcakes, cakes, cannolis, cinnamon rolls, quiches, and muffins. Here, everything is homemade, and I've tried almost everything they offer. I'm not kidding. I've had it all. It's THAT good, y'all!All their goodies are baked to perfection and are almost a sinful delight. I have so many favorites at the bakery that it's difficult to pick their top treat. They rotate the flavors of many of their items, so they always offer something "new." I stop in and grab a few goodies once a week.The cheesecake offerings are the most scrumptious. They prepare them perfectly, creamy, and bursting with flavor. They offer a variety of cheesecake flavors full of deliciousness. The Coconut Cheesecake is one of my top favorites.Another top favorite of mine is their Boston Cream Croissants. Oh my goodness... it's absolutely a delight. Drizzled with chocolate and full of out-of-this-world creamy goodness, it's to die for.The bakery also offers coffee, tea, and sodas for your beverage choices.They offer outstanding customer service, and treat you as if you are part of the family. Customer service at galaxy bakery is top notch!I can’t remember the gentleman’s name, however he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had a difficult time figuring out how to do a strawberry mascarpone cake for my wedding. He took the time to explain in detail the ways I could do my cake. His knowledge and confidence in his work made me feel secure in my choices. He was extremely friendly and patient with me. I can’t wait to see and try my wedding cake. Thank you for outstanding service. I look forward to being a repeat customer.

Disgusting mess. Got home. Made coffee. Opened the box, top looked picture perfect. Removed the paper, both cupcakes were wet, soggy disgusting mess inside. Notice the liquid in the paper liner. I really don't understand how this can happen. Called to complain, no one picked up. Left a message. No one called back. Poor product, poor customer service.Update: Owner called, refunded money, apologized, and said staff was supposed to inform me that they are intentionally mushy. He also said that they have unmushy cupcakes so to look for those next time I visit. My brother has had these multiple times and they were not mushy all those times, so this must be an updated recipe, or a lack of true communication. Due to the fact he called, I'm updating my one star to three.

This fine Bakery offers many delicious sweets! Not a donut shop, but full of treats for anyone's Sweet Tooth. I enjoyed a miniature pecan pie, others enjoyed the Boston cream or the cannolis. Various cupcakes are available.....as well as soft drinks and coffees. Not inexpensive, FYI.

I'm hoping this will make it back to the ones that made the cupcakes on 12/12/23. One of the cupcakes purchased was the german chocolate which is one of my go-to favorites. When I got to the filling, it had a very strong mint flavor. I'm thinking someone accidentally put some mint flavor into the filling. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish it and had to throw it away. I like mint and chocolate but not with the german chocolate. The cake itself and the topping were still good as always. Just wanted to pass along the issue with the filling :)

Stopped by tonight for a tres leche cupcake on our way to Baked Bear for my kids to grab ice cream sandwiches for their birthdays. Admittedly if I had not stopped by last week and had this cupcake, I would have turned around and left due to their employees dismissive attitude, definitely felt like we were not wanted in the store. He did not greet us, barely spoke to us and his back was turned to us the second I finished paying. Very shocked to have this interaction after the way I was treated last week.

This bakery is 👍. They have an assortment of cupcakes, beautiful and fluffy scones, and the croissants were probably the best I ever had. The crust was soft and fluffy, lots of cheese and meat inside. They do have coffee and express, made to order. Not too busy, great place for a Saturday morning.

My husband and I were in Gtown and was craving for some dessert after we had lunch at Burger Uni. As we were walking around Gtown downtown, he saw the small sign of this bakery and so we went in to see what they have. We were welcomed with humongous cookies, delicious looking cupcakes and their heavenly cheesecakes. It was a dessert heaven! The owner and his daughter was so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back here to try their cupcakes!

My sister told me about this place and I’ve been wanting to go for months. I went to Bordeaux, France last year, went on a good tour and had the most delectable almond croissant! I had never had one have been craving one ever since. Well Galaxy has them and it was just as good. So thank God I don’t have to go back to Bordeaux just for a croissant! 10 stars!

For all of my birthdays i have gone to Anne’s kitchen in Austin and I never thought i would find another cake place that would taste as good as them. this was my first time trying a cake from Galaxy bakery and that was the beat decision i made. this cake was so dense and moist. i got an almond flavored cake with raspberry jam filling and it was AMAZING. will be going here every year now!

I ordered 40 cupcakes for my son's 16th birthday and Galaxy Cupcakes delivered. I ordered vanilla, chocolate and mimosa. The crowed loved them. You can taste all of the true ingredients. The butter creme icing was authentic. Thank you, Galaxy, for putting your "foot" in those cupcakes!!!

Disappointed. Was excited to try after reading the good reviews. The chocolate, banana, coconut, toffee (?) Muffin was really good! But, the almond croissant tasted like almond extract, and you could taste raw flour/dough. The German chocolate cup cakes were nothing like German chocolate. There should be condensed milk in the icing. The peanut butter cookie had very little peanut flavor and also could taste raw flour/dough.

I'm not sure if I left a review for this place or not, but it's worth repeating that it has some AMAZING cupcakes with a great selection. My personal fav is the Tres Leches and the Ooh La-La cupcake (chocolate version of tres leches). They have a bunch of other sweets if you aren't into cupcakes and a nice little seating area around the side. All located right in the middle of downtown Georgetown.

Very delicious and moist cupcakes. There are lots of delicious pastry's and other desserts as well. They also serve coffee which goes well with the yummy desserts! Small seating indoors and out, but enough to sit a bit and enjoy your naked goods. Very friendly staff. Reasonably priced as far as gourmet or bakery prices go. $3.75 a cupcake, but well worth it. They did also offer some gluten free baked goods which is awesome!

Chocolate croissant was so good! Not to bitter and just the right amount of crispness. They are a busy spot but definitely worth the small wait in line. They have in door and out door seating. It is limited since it's a smaller bakery but the square has plenty of places you can sit and eat outside if need be.

What a lovely bakery with exceptional customer service. Their cupcakes were delicious and beautiful. I ordered cupcakes over the phone for my husband’s birthday. He was in Georgetown taking students to a competition, so I ordered from out of town. They arranged for delivery, but I gave them the wrong hotel! They then went out for delivery AGAIN to the right hotel! I couldn’t believe they were willing to make the trip again, when it was my error, and with such a friendly, positive attitude. My five year old even commented on it after he heard me talking on the phone on the car speaker—he said, “Wow, that’s a really nice person. I bet if you go in his store he says, ‘Anything you need.’“ Highly recommend!
