Not sure where to start. The only reason i put a one star cause there wasn't anything lower. This place is a mess, how they allow the manager to continue to work here I have no idea. I have gone a hand full of times and its still the same. The lady that says she's the manager is so rude. Right before xmas she goes off while ringing our items up, talking about she's closing the store at 3pm and she don't care what anyone says owners and all. Wow! Please get a new Manager ASAP!!! Clean this store up!

The manager needs to spend less time complaining to customers about everything she needs to do and more time finding new employees to help stock the food shelves. She has employees stocking random craft items when all the food shelves are bare by 50%.

The store has gone down hill greatly in the last couple of months! You enter the store and they have the door tied open and with employees standing right outside the door smoking and talking about work; things that should be discussed behind closed doors. You can’t even walk down the aisles nor find anything you need because the shelves are empty. They are NOT merchandising when shipments come in. The merchandise is literally left in the aisles on the metal transports in boxes. This place needs help ASAP!

Jan 20th 2024 store looked like a tornado hit, shelves empty stock stacked everywhere could not get through the iles . No carts worst I've ever seen.

Shelves are never stocked and computers are always down leaving people waiting at the register while they reboot the one register they have open

I only gave 1 star to write this review.Anyways, Sean, the cashier needs to learn compassion. An elderly woman was checking out with her husband and was having difficulty figuring out how to slide her card. Sean seemed extremely put out that she was taking so long and never offered to help her. I helped her, and she was extremely grateful!Have some compassion SEAN! It's called Customer Service!!!

Great customer service. You can really tell that they are working around the clock to keep the customers happy and the shelves stocked. Huge selection and everything you would want from a store. Kathy is always helpful and knowledgeable about the products and will remind you to enter the drawings for free money!

The staff is always friendly, but there's a line about 80% of the time due to only having one register open (though I'm sure that's corporate being stingy with payroll and not up to the management at the store level.) Fairly clean and well-stocked. Super convenient for the essentials so we don't have to drive across town to the grocery store.

Not quite 5 stars to me, only because there was a few isles that had their carts that was full of stuff that was not put on the shelves and blocking isles to where you had to go to the next isle just to go down the one that was blocked. Other than that, the store was pretty well stocked and organized from what I could see while doing our shopping today.

I am very disappointed with Dollar General. They have a sign on the door that says masks are required. When I was in the store today several people walked in and were NOT wearing a mask. A couple with a kid in the toy isle were jacking around touching everything and were not wearing a mask. Touching everything... breathing on everything... like we're not in a dang pandemic! I'm not one of those people that are all "wear your mask" but if the sign says so then people should be REQUIRED to obey. Otherwise, don't serve them!

Well so far I've not had a bad experience with dollar generals..I will say problems I've found have been parking ( usually small ) - clearance items (not marked with new "lower" price). Also they are usually cluttered but have nice staff. I will have to check back as I did my first online order to be shipped...woo hoo

I love, love this store so much since they've changed their stores. They carry more cold and frozen items, more decorative items, quality merchandise, and lots of $1 choices. Give it a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This particular store I found in North Austin Ave in Georgetown is a GEM! We were here last week end to visit our home in Fairhaven that would soon be finished and hopefully we can move in this December and the first thing I told my husband was I need to find a dollar general near us because I love shopping at DG, but this store exceeded my expectations. They have a wonderful cashier named Donna who would assist you with a smile on her face and an extraordinary manager named Pamela (that's what I remembered from what I saw on her name tag) who would welcome you with arms wide open. They made me feel like I am part of their family and would assist me every time I shop there. The store is well maintained and clean, products were all on the right shelves, very effective customer service. They are just simply the best! they are the treasure of this store and that what makes this particular Dollar General store stand out from others. I would definitely recommend this branch. I have no problem travelling from Pflugerville to Georgetown to shop and I could not wait til our house will be finished so we can move in. I love this store and its employees!!! They are the best!

I love $ General! I run in for just about everything like bread,milk,butter,cookies,even a frozen pizza! They just refurbished all the Dollar Generals and they are beautiful! No more cheap $1.00 stuff. A wonderful place for a quick gift & card, garden equipment,medicines,kitchen/bath supplies, Get a receipt call rate store cyou could win $50+

Love DG, especially for emergancies, but I have a LOT of trouble finding certain things. The isles are very close together and always disorganized with products in several locations.I have been there about five times and three of those five times I had to wait at the register for an employee to realize I was there. Up to five minutes. On one occasion I stood there waiting at the register (with my family in the car waiting for me) watching an employee stock shelves and not once look toward the register. I finally called over "Excuse me, I don't mean to rush you but my family is waiting for me". She walked over, no apology or anything. Her only comment was to rudely explain to me that the other register was open and I should have walked around.That was uncalled for. Also, if there are two registers, with no signs, and no one at either register how do they expect a customer to know which is open?None of this is enough to put me off shopping here, but don't expect great customer service.

Going to Dollar General is great I really like Ms Katie and Ms Etta is so great and very friendly and they welcome you to the store and help you find anything in their !!! When I first moved here in Dec Ms Katie was so friendly and welcome me to Georgetown !!! She made me feel great and I have not stop shopping their !##🎊🎉

They have just about everything you could need in a pinch. Out if soap, toothpaste, a brush for all occasions. This is the place to go! Need a quick snack, oil for the car, firewood... You will find it here. I dropped in to pick up a USB C cable and they had it.

Just came from here I only gave one star cause it would not let me do less...I'll start by saying the staff seems nice BUT if you want to go shopping here for anything other them hygiene products then save your time and go somewhere else. They have SO MANY BACK STOCK carts on the floor you CANNOT get down any of the other isles. It is ridiculous. It's also hot as hell in there. If you wanna check it out for yourself then by all means go ahead but don't say I didn't warn you.

Great Sales, I like to shop here for everything just about; snakes, household cleaning products, sometime, over the counter cold medication, hygiene products to household nic naks, to socks, T-shirts, sweat pants, hoodies good quality if on slae, nail polish, sodas. This is my kinda store, kinda like a mini mart Walmart but great sales on stuff. Oh and you will find the candy of your childhood.

No toilet paper or soap in men's restroom so nobody washed their hands.😱 The entire door floor in the store is filthy, sticky.... good customer service.

Store was clean, orderly, organized; and the cashier, Joshua, was very helpful. Parking was limited in the front but I don't know if there was parking on the side or in the rear of the store. I'd certainly shop there again.

Went in to buy laundry products and the lady was super rude when I was trying to explain to her why the coupon wasn’t working. I tried to go get the right item and she gave a a attitude and sighed I definitely do not recommend buying anything from this location.
