Our kayaking group stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant is in a quiet street in a neighborhood. The place is massive with indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is big and has a stage and several seating areas. Apparently they have live music regularly in the evenings which will be worth a return visit…Lunch was slow but the service was great for a large group. Everyone enjoyed their food: the fried food plates were huge. Aside from the usual burgers and such, they were offering their famous smoked sauerkraut which I personally didn’t like. I did like their coleslaw. You don’t leave this restaurant hungry as the portions are very generous. It’s a long way to go from Georgetown but it’s quite convenient when you’re around the area.

We have to reevaluate going there. They have specials during the week, and one is a chicken dinner! In the past, it has been quite good but over the past few months we have gone and invited friends to join us. To our surprise, they have been sold out probably 80% even as early as 5 p.m.Plus the last time went, they only had dark meat and as shown in pictures, it was mostly breading.SO, we'll be a while before going back since they don't have enough food week after week! Not going to waste the fuel just to get aggravated when we can go to Long Horn for the same amount, better food, and excellent service!!Used to be a good place for a quick meal. On the high side price wise.Hope they work out their problems!!

Oh man! This place has some awesome food. They give very generous portions. I had the smoked sausage, smoked sauerkraut & collard greens. My husband had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy & pinto beans.They have a taco stand, a beer garden & the have live music in the evening hours. We will definitely be back here.

Off the beaten path and not a bad spot. Texas Country Dining and a first time visiting. Staff was friendly and courteous food came out quick and hot. Sweet tea was delicious. Soda can drinks with ice. Schnitzel and catfish plate were good and a good serving. In the warmer months they have an outdoor area that looks to be lovey as well! Definitely worth a stop if your in the area and want home cooking off the beaten path.

I was referred here by a family food critic to get "the best hamburger of my life", so detoured to check it out. Possibly so!Classic burger spot, great service.I had the 4 Alarm Walburger with onion rings. Both were outstanding. I can't say I have had a better burger but will return to double check.

Kiley was great as usual. The food was amazing. Always look forward to a Monday (Fried Chicken Special) but usually hard to stray away from the chicken tenders.Kid-friendliness: Always feel comfortable letting our kids play in the beer garden.

One of the best places we've eaten since we moved here. We were told about this place by some neighbors and we drove out to try it. Definitely worth the drive! I had the stuffed schnitzel and my husband had the schnitzel. Comes with 2 sides and a roll. Very good. Our waiter was a great young man, who answered our questions honestly! Would definitely recommend! They say the burgers and blackened catfish are really good, too. Just a reason to drive out again! Oh, and the prices were really good, too!

The pictures were from when I went inside to use the bathroom. We found this place after we went toSweet Eats Fruit Farm and we needed a lunch after. We have gone several times through 2020 and every time we have enjoyed the German food, Burgers, and Beers off of the draft. The servers are genuine and super kind to my two crazy beautiful kids. This has been one of go to places for 2020 since it had a beer garden.

Awesome hamburgers. They also have great daily specials like Chicken and Dumplings. These were as good, if not better, than my grandmother used to make. Everything homemade and delicious.Wait staff is great too.

Despite the name, Dales has very little German food - as a typical roadside diner it may excel, but those looking for something approaching German food should look elsewhere.The sign says to seat yourself, but I sat for a good ten minutes with no response from waitstaff before I left.Because I was unable to obtain any service at all, I cannot rate the food itself.

Delicious food. Homestyle cooking with several dishes with a German-Bohemian flair. Nice large outdoor area with stage for live music and dance floor. Food and drink also served outside. There's even a basketball court behind the stage area.

Extremely unorganized no communication between staff especially during this event for custodians for jarrel ISD I called way ahead about an hour ahead before the event eadind and they decided to give all the food to some people instead of the actual people it was paid for extreme disappointment 😥 even stayed in the name and where they work and explain the situation to the person that answered the phone

Great food, great patio with amazing live music and dance floor. Kids love it and they can play basketball out back or at a playground. Great Texas country hangout.
