Showed up to pickup my prescription 10 minutes before closing and was told my prescription was "put back on the shelf". I drove all the way here to pick-up my order only the 2nd day after it arrived to the pharmacy. I asked why it was put back on the shelf. They said after 14 days it gets put back on the shelf, but my order was placed this past Friday & I was told over the phone it would be ready for pick-up Monday afternoon (yesterday). Today is only Tuesday (the very next day) and I wasted 30 minutes driving here to pick up my prescription. Apparently no other cvs carries my prescription so I can't even make an extra drive to still get my prescriptions by tonight. They also said something about having to pay a copay for my prescriptions, but I had already verified that they were totally covered by insurance 2 separate times, $0 copay, as per usual with my prescriptions. What the hell are these people talking about?? They had no answer as to why they put it back on the shelf 1 day after receiving my prescription. The best excuse they had was "I don't know". They couldn't even bother to make up for my inconvenience that they caused me by simply putting it back in a brown bag and checking me out after discovering their mistake. Their excuse then was that they were now closed. Well, instead of arguing with me about their mistake and how much they do not care, they could have spent that 10 minutes fixing their mistake and bagging it back up for me. These people are sub par. Not shocked at all though, I was wary of the low ratings & bad reviews from the pharmacy here & now I know exactly why! I will be looking for another pharmacy, at least I don't have to deal with this crap anymore!

I love my CVS pharmacy in Georgetown, I've used it over 10 years and will continue to use this pharmacy, customer service is outstanding and friendly staff , Great place to get your meds and any other essential you might need, so many categories to select from and your one stop , Store is always in perfect condition, very clean and professional staff, Thank you CVS for always treating me as a person..

scammers. constantly get communication my Rx is ready only to have them "not yet ready"when I go in. Then, increase copay by 70 dollars and have no record of correct insurance information. Not a single person was helpful nor would they correct the information. rude, unhelpful, and completely disorganized. use WALGREENS!

Worse pharmacists ever. When I confronted the head pharmacist Nicole, she told me thye are not responsible to their customers, they are only order takers, and if I dont like it go somewhere else. All this from them giving me the wrong medicine and not wanting to take returns or the complaint that it was dangerous.

We tried to fill a prescription for my mom but they didn’t have all of the pills. They told us that they would call when they had the rest of the script. They didn’t tell us that since we took the 10 pills they could not fill the rest of it. If they would have told us that in the beginning we would’ve gone to a different pharmacy. We are having to call her ph to rewrite the script for the rest of the pills. Until then she is in pain.

Most incompetent people in the pharmacy. My medication has been back ordered at my HEB and the only pharmacy in town that had it was this CVS. My parents went to pick it up since I was out of town. They were told my medical card had expired so they put back the medication and gave it to someone else. The following days I spoke with the pharmacy three different times and got three different answers. 1. They now didn't have any medication 2. My card was now not expired 3. The card was expired again.After receiving an update the medication was refilled again I went through the drive through dur to me being sick. The girl pulled up my account and said "oh my Lanta! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THIS IS?!" I told her they should have a medical card on file. They didn't. She told me to come back in 20 minutes so they could run the card 😑When I came back she said it was $500... umm.. no. I told her that wasn't correct it should only be $25. She told me that because this was my first dose it's $500 then it gets less as I refill it. I've been using the same medication for 6 months at $25 a month and they want to charge me $500?? No thank you. Will be stocking with HEB

If I could give this CVS ZERO Stars I Would! My wife takes a medication that requires blood lab work.My wife had gone to the lab a few days beforehand. My wife’s doctor’s office got their copy of the lab results (which is loaded into a proprietary computer database system)My wife’s doctor’s office & CVS can both access the same database.I called this specific CVS which is where my wife’s doctor’s office sent the prescription.The pharmacist said they couldn’t fill the prescription because the database system (REMS) supposedly simply said “Do Not Dispense.”The pharmacist said that she needed to research the matter & promised to call me back.She never did. I ended up calling back. I have the call logs to back that up.I asked the pharmacist before I hung up what she meant & if they got the lab results in the REMS database.She just kept saying it only says “Do Not Dispense” and advised me to call my wife’s doctor’s office & have them call CVS.I called my wife’s doctor’s office & asked them to call CVS.Hours later I called CVS back again & FINALLY FOUND OUT what CVS SHOULD HAVE told me along.And that was they did NOT have the labs results via the REMS database. That’s why it kept saying “Do Not Dispense.”Then I called my wife’s doctor’s office again & simply asked them to fax the lab results to CVS - which they did.By this time, it was too late for me to go to CVS to get the medicine because I had to be at work.I have an old vehicle & was running an errand anyway & could have easily went by CVS.So now I have to go tomorrow and hope my vehicle doesn’t break down.If CVS had simply told me when I first called in the morning THEY DID NOT or COULD NOT see the lab results in the REMS database, then I would have immediately asked my doctor’s office to fax the lab results.All of this could have been avoided if they DID A MUCH BETTER JOB communicating to me & simply TOLD ME the 1st time I called - that they couldn’t see the labs results & to have the doctor fax them.They dragged this whole thing out by way of ambiguity & piss poor communication!

AWESOME PHARMACY!!! I’d rate this location 6 stars if I could. The employees at this store are so helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and FAST! Seriously best CVS pharmacy in Georgetown (and I’ve tried them all). Shout out to Lisa and Nicole for saving the day by fixing 2 separate script issues I had in 10 minutes flat.

As a pharmacy you 1 job abd that is to fill prescriptions. I know that is a basic assessment and I know there is more to the job, but this is your main business. This particular location is not good with the basics up to and including customer service . Very poor experience with the pharmacy, non responsive management team in the store.I know they don't care, but had ro transfer my prescription yo HEB. Filled within hours, cvs had my prescription for a week.

I never write reviews, so this is rare for me. But I’m writing to say how bad the photo developing section is. I took my camera to get my photos done but they never called and I tried looking for atleast my camera but they found nothing. Super sad that I lost all my photos and memories and disappointed to the people who had one job of letting me know that my photos were ready.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST pharmacy there is. Complete waste of time. They will text you several times a day to tell you your medication is ready to pick up. You show up, and SURPRISE! No. It’s not… so then you come back the next time you have a chance, and you can’t get it “because of state law”. Yes. I understand that, but I tried to pick it up when they said it was ready, and it wasn’t. Now I’m stuck with an additional copay for my doctor to fill it again. Do yourself a favor and NEVER get meds filled here. I don’t even care that I have to pay more at another pharmacy. Will NEVER be back. Also, to top it off, the Pharmacist was super rude and never once had my well being in mind.

Super close to the house. Prices are competitive if you use coupons. Some items, like laundry detergent, coffee, etc. are actually cheaper than big box grocery stores. They also have self checkout.

Although very busy,they were much faster than HEB on University. They got my daughter's medicine within an hour after being discharged at St. Davids Care Now!I think all pharmacies are busy as Georgetown continues to grow, however they were quick and very friendly.

Good workers and friendly staff, But the STORE MANAGER is the worst!! And unpleasant, The black lady with dreads always haves a nasty attitude and she is always walking and talking on her phone.When my wife asked for help the store manager looked at her Rudely and she had someone else help her ,you’ll ask for a item in the back and she will go look but you’ll never see her again she’ll have one of her good employees come and tell you they don’t have it. She doesn’t honor coupons and gives attitude! I never see the manager because she always over works her hard staff.I complained to corporate and they won’t do anything all this store needs Is a new store manager I will be adding more photos soon! The only reason I shop her is the great deals and clean store and helpful staff! but you’re better off getting help from a McDonald’s manager!

On 8/23/22 I went here to pick up medicine for my husband. I went to the kiosk and printed out coupons using the telphone number lookup. When I tried to use the coupon the cashier didnt honor it. Said the ninber didnt match. Offered no other help.

Only reason I gave this store 2 stars is because of the state of the bathroom.It’s unacceptable for a store branded for health to have a bathroom in this condition.Has it been cleaned this year? It’s so disgusting that’s it’s a health hazard.The person who runs this store should be ashamed.Deep clean this bathroom now and in the future have it cleaned every morning and night with a checklist sign off that is reviewed every day. There is no checklist in the plastic sleeve on the door currently. There is a note that reads something like, “please clean me :(“.For shame. Not sure how this can pass health inspection unless that’s the one day of the year it’s cleaned.

I love my CVS....the employees are ALWAYS helpful. If/when an item is out of stock I never have an issue with getting a rain check, as I have had at other stores. I recommend this store over the other GT CVS any/every time or day. I have a big shout out to Lisa & Mr. Rhodes for being helpful anytime I have questions on items in store.

Worst ever. If you want your meds you'll just have to wait days for a computer to call you because humans never do. Oh and if you try to call ahead on your own you'll just get attitude, excuses, and dishonesty.I tried to have meds transferred to a nearby location only to be told that it requires a doctor approval and the other location told me wrong. Never going back. Watch out for the riff raff getting in and out of that place too.

The worst staff I’ve ever experienced. The Pharmacy staff is very friendly but everyone else is incredibly rude and always in a bad mood. It’s also dirty and disorganized when you walk up to the checkout counter/photo center. Very disappointed.
