I've never really had good food experience here just got to come salads the other day the avocado was brown the lettuce was kind of brown there was hardly any bacon bits. But I must say I'm so glad they got rid of the clerks that used to work there because they were horrible they were rude and the new stuff is much better but I can't say much for the food

Great food and fast friendly service! The menu has a good variety for breakfast and lunch, and they are open for dinner as well. I had the Patty melt which was very good, but there was no sauce which I am use to, but still very good. You also have your choice of curly fries, regular fries, tater tots or onion rings. Quite busy for lunch but there were tables available.

Looks like a convenience store....but don't be fooled!! City Market has the BEST burgers in Georgetown. Great food, great draft beer prices. Outstanding breakfast....especially the sweet cream pancakes. Do NOT miss this little hole in the wall....best kept secret in Georgetown.

Just moved to SS; food and service are very good. Hard-working servers. No complaints. However, the environment is disappointing. Dirty, smelly restrooms, floor tiles worn to the concrete in the main areas, and an overall dated, dirty, aged appearance. What are the chances of an upgrade on the physical plant itself?

I've been delivering groceries for seniors everyday and it's just embarrassing that you aren't allowed to use the restroom because the silver haired young acting guy don't want to clean up after everyone. Y'all should be ashamed of yourself. I need to keep my hands cleaned while delivering to these good folks!

I can't say enough good words about the staff at City Market. There is a sense of family there. In fact, I have been a personal recipient of there sensitive kindness on two occasions when I experienced low glucose events while there, and the staff responded immediately with sources of correctly chosen food items to quickly stabilize my glucose, and restore my strength. Their quick response was no doubt a result of their personal concern for my personal safety by preventing me from slipping into a coma. But, it doesn't stop there. On frequent visits, I have consistently found all of them to be friendly, concerned, and extremely patient. It is clear to me that they want customers to have a good experience. I have often marveled at the rapid pace they are capable of sustaining. Servers sometimes are almost jogging to their tables to serve meals, then keeping an eye on them, even while taking orders, and serving other tables, to see if those already served need anything else. And all through those trips back and forth doing those things, they are frequently stopped by some at other tables asking questions, or asking for refills, desserts, etc., which the servers quickly note and pass on to kitchen staff when necessary. Given the minimum staff they work with, it is amazing what they accomplish, and how they can maintain their pace, and their patience for so long. Of course, there are always a few customers who neither respect, nor try toexercise any patience at all, especially when rush hours come with their occasional short delays. The staff is sometimes abused verbally, and hampered by taking the time to explain why they may not be able to cater to an unrealistic, or impossible demand. So, if you maintain a modicum of civil behavior, I am confident you will have a rewarding experience at City Market.You may have one even if you don't behave!

I liked this place, but now they have changed the fries to be battered and seasoned and you can't order anything else. That tells me they are just frozen. Frozen, battered fries are not healthy or tasty. Will go someplace else from now on.

Absolutely the rudest clerks I have ever come in to contact with. One was shoving a taco down her face and restocking the creamers at the coffee pots instead of tending to the cashier and then when I called her out on it the older 1 starts snapping at me saying that we'll get to you when we get to you. As I left the older 1 told me to never come back again as if I had any intention of taking my business there in the future.

Who makes breakfast tacos with fried eggs? Not a good taste for a breakfast taco. They told me i needed to specify scrambled. It's a breakfast taco, the eggs are always scrambled. I was already ify about their breakfast tacos now i will not be ordering them again. Spoiled on the ones from Austin. Lazy cooking in my opinion. I hear their burgers are great, maybe ill do lunch there instead.

City Market is a great place to eat, drink and be merry! The best cinnamon muffins this side of heaven. The employees at City Market are great, especially Jaidy; she is friendly and kind to everyone and I am very impressed by her efficient, multi-tasking abilities.

Thursday, 27 May, Went at 5pm for dinner...why is there karaoke?Didn't stay...sounded horrible...is this a recurring and ongoing thing? If so, won't be going here to eat!1 June: after receiving response from the Market...glad to know karaoke is only on Thursdays...staff is friendly, food is good. Will go on any night except Thursdays. Thank you City Market & Grill for being part of our Sun City! 🌞

The breakfast is good if you are lucky enough to have it served warm. The owner or mgr keeps the place so severely understaffed the chances are slim for warm food. The (usually) 1 waitress is harried & unable to keep up with a bustling Saturday or Sunday morning crowd from Sun City. I have given this place multple chances because it used to be quite good. My opinion is if you want to go someplace to become incredibly frustrated, this is the place you are looking for. Plan on bussing a table if you want to sit down, never getting a refill on you coffee & being served food so cold such as pancakes & grits, they will not melt butter. Don't waste your time or money in hopes it was just a one-off day, it only gets worse the more chances you give it....

I couldn't give it zero stars so I chose one. There's a guy working there who is rude, disrespectful, dismissive and just about any other way you can treat customers badly. I don't know his name. He has gray hair and works behind the counter. Anyone who has been in there will know who I am talking about. He will not look at you when you talk to him.I went in this evening to get Megga Million tickets. He gave me one without asking how many I wanted. I told him I wanted 10. I started to leave and saw that he gave me PowerBall tickets. This happened because the whole time he was dealing with me and the two customers before me he was on the phone listening to a recording and punching in numbers.I heard the recording say something about a claim. I guess he was filing a claim.He was rude to the two customers ahead of me also. I have been in there several times. He is always like this.For you to have someone like that working there is absolutely despicable.He is going to cause a confrontation that is going to involve the police and then you will get sued until the end of time.

Very convenient for neighbors and workers. Good food for breakfast and lunch. Have not had dinner there. Store has broad range of items for emergencies or parties. Good wine selection for most of us. They have salt for watersoftners and can get delivered in SC.

Simple order, 2 chili cheese dogs. Got home, a wiener and a dry bun. No chili, no cheese, no anything. Paid for chili cheese dogs. Complete failure. Didn’t even try. Will not be back.

Eating with a group of four people my food came 20 minutes after everybody else's not to mention it was the wrong order when I went to pay she still charge me for the more expensive item after I told her that it was wrong. Took forever for them to get our cards back and she still didn't know whose was whose she wrote nothing down. And then had the audacity to comp an attitude like it was our fault needless to say she needs a new job

Terrible service - clerks are slow & arrogant. They had masks on covering the chins but not their mouths or noses. Very frustrating. I was there to buy a bag of ice for 2.5 x the cost at HEB or Randalls & it took ~ 10 minutes because the clerks were so stupidly slow.

They say that they are open to 9 pm every day. However, when I went by this evening at 7:45, they were closed.Between 2 and 3 pm during the lawn service season, this place can be overrun by yard service workers. They double and triple park their pick-up trucks and trailers so that navigating into and through the parking lot can be a challenge.
