Have stayed here twice. Rooms neat and clean. Appears recently renovated. First visit was unplanned and just a stop on a long trip. Checked in late (around 10pm) without a problem. Management very nice and accommodating. Second stay was planned with my son that I was driving back to the Air Force base in San Angelo after Christmas leave. Same good experience. No bugs, hot water, and a comfortable bed. Close to food and shopping. For a small, locally owned motel, it was above any expectations. Will definitely stay again if my travels take me through Gatesville.

Rooms were clean and pleasant. They knew we were coming so they had precooled the room. (Anyone who knows Texas heat knows this is a huge blessing) Owner is very nice and accommodating. I was stressed overly stimulated and desperately looking for a place that would let me have a late check out. They even offered me a bottle water when I was checking in. Kindness goes a long way in my book. I will stay only here when I come to visit my mother in the future. Thank you Sir for your kindness and empathy for my situation.

Do NOT stay here. The place is a dump. Tiny room, had a bad odor as soon as we walked in. No pool. Oh and there was a stain on the comforter and the mattress was hard. If u have an extra $10 go down the street and stay at the Regency Inn instead- it's so much nicer plus has a pool

Stayed here on my road trip across Texas. Wifi is slow but this is also in the middle of nowhere so I’m just happy to have service. The motel is definitely old. Think of Schitt’s Creek and you will know what I mean. It is thankfully clean. The owners live at the motel because they are always available. Plenty of parking and accessible to the major highways and restaurants. Walmart is also 5 minutes away.

Memorial weekend. Only motel with vacancy. Looked like built in maybe 50s. The bed was comfy. There was huge vacancy. Lots of rooms avaiable.No coffee pot. That was yuck. But there was donut shop right next door!

Very nice owners. Room's were very clean. You couldn't do any better here in Gatesville. The other 2 New Hotels you worry about your vehicle's because their cars are getting broken into constantly and nothing ever works.

Tried to get a room and because i had a small dog that wasn't even going to stay there, I had gotten completely denied. Even if I was trying to see what the rates were. Wouldnt answer the question because he saw a dog.

Didnt actually stay at motel my husband came all the way from huntsville texas to visit my dad and help him do a little cleaning my husband and i went to rent a room but we had our 6 week old blue healer puppy but the gatesville inn didnt allow pets my husband and i stated that we would leave puppy at my dads but owner got very belligerent and rude with my husband and my husband was very polite and respectful but gentleman was still rude my husband even told gentleman he could check car and room after we dropped our puppy off at my dads but guy was still rude with my husband wouldnt stay there with way management runs motel

Asked for a "non-smoking room', and actually got one. Room is small, but very clean. Nice comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Felt very safe here.

This place is disgusting. I open the door to bugs flying at my face, the carpet was not vacuumed, the bathroom was not clean, I am currently getting bit by misquotes, the ice bucket gets filled by the owners in a separate room which you can not see being dispensed. The ice thing really had me worried as the owners slept in the same room the ice came from to the best of my knowledge. I had asked for something to drink which late at night and they came from the same place doorway the ice did. The ice clearly came out of trays as you would more commonly see in a home owners fridgarator. Last thing is the wifi. Absolutely terrible I ran speed test with ookla. One on my caped off 4g LTE network and the other with century links wifi connection. This was done in the hotel and as you can tell my connection on my phone only displayed 2 out of 4 bars but was well over 100 times faster.

Me and my family rented a room for one night and when we walked in the room there was a cat in there, no got water to take a shower and there was a big piss stain on one of the beds. I advise no one to stay there.

Just about every picture on here is not of the gatesville inn, it's of the roadway inn across the street, it seems like they're trying to steal photos make themselves look better. Even though they are one of the worst hotels in gatesville.

For $67 a night it should have a toilet that flushes a shower that isn't filled with dirt hairs on the toilet and or is it barely lock needs to be the health department needs to check it out

Tried to set up a hotel room for my technicians staying out of town. The woman working there did not speak English nor did she know how to set up a hotel room. This is how businesses fail.
