Myself as well as a patient of mine have been trying for what feels like a month to get chicken and dumplings. Everytime we’ve been there it’s been either “ran out” or they “have it but we haven’t cooked it yet” they pick and choose what times and days to cook certain things which is absolutely ridiculous. Your menu is made to order you need to keep what you have in stock and ready to be cooked or prepared especially a menu item that’s highly requested. As of today we called again the response was once again that you have the Chicken and Dumplings but don’t know why or when you’ll actually make them??? Seriously??

Came in today after visiting my cousin at the gatesville prison. Not only did I hesitate to order anything due tonall the flies flying around but I decided to give them a chance. When you walk in it is empty. The staff acts like they do jot see you walk in or notice you. But after a hello they actually look at you and pay attention only to tell you to wait. So I decided to sit down. Since it seemed that the drive thru was very busy. There where 3 gentleman sitting there in uniform. As soon as they got up knew what they were going to order the lady immediatly notices them and took their order. Not only was i dissapointed but she saw me standing there waiting to order for a good 5mint. As a vereran not been in UNIFORM I guess priority is those who serve now. 😞 I still got up and decided to order just 1 large dip cone and thank the man for serving our country and as a veteran it gives me pride to see them. They all smiled and said thank you also. The lady at the counter seem shocked and walked up to me and handed me my dip cone. I told her thank you and next time to make sure all customers are taken care of not just the ones in uniform. They can do better at this store from keeping insects out of the lobby where people eat to acknowledging all customers NO matter race or uniform. I gave them 2 🌟 because the rest rooms where nice and clean and at least she handed me my dip cone. 🍦

Had to explain why if something was not available then they couldn't charge me to have it. Then they still forgot to make some of the food. The chicken tenders were are dark and hard as tree bark.The mens room was filled with flies, the floors were dirty, napkin piles holding up broken tables that were all disgusting. The employees were loud and unprofessional.

Never again will I ever go there ever it’s sad that I out of town person cannot get a good service because the people that work there all they do is talk and joke around. Not just that it seems like the machines are always broke and the workers are so lazy that they are not able to switch out anything to keep orders going fast. All of them should be fired and replaced with illegal. immigrants.

This location service is super slow and will have in the drive thru waiting for ever..very disappointed. Menu sign and whole building lighting is out cant even see the menu poor management decided to spend our money elsewhere.

We visited on Sunday, 10/29 around 1pm. This was probably the cleanest DQ I’ve been to. That was very nice. We all liked our food and the cook seemed to do a good job. But someone who actually cares about this business needs to train the manager here in simple customer service. I can deal with a long wait or my order being incorrect, which we did have 3 missing items but got corrected quickly. What is not okay, is the manager’s TERRIBLE attitude. Not only towards paying customers but to the other employees that work here. What I saw while we were there was simply sad. In the short time I was there, I actually witnessed someone else in the drive through ask for the manager’s name so he could call and complain about her. Her response was that she couldn’t give out her name. She then proceeded to have the worst attitude and continued to deal with everyone around her like a bratty 2 year old child. And she’s the manager? She was flat out mean and had a look on her face like she was mad that you came to DQ. There was a lady, I believe her name was Amber from what I remember someone shouting to her, who was taking our order and trying to do a good job. She was so sweet. She said she was brand new (she said it was her first time dipping a cone, ringing things up, etc.) which it showed because she was having a hard time with the register. Anytime she needed help and said she needed to ask her manager, the manager was the rudest human I’ve encountered in a long time. The way she was talking to this new girl was demeaning and unprofessional on so many levels. Amber at least was trying and treated everyone she dealt with very nice. If this place can’t keep employees, I’m pretty sure this manager is the reason why. Being courteous is not hard. If people have to wait longer than they’d like to or their order is slightly wrong, but the people working there have a nice attitude and are willing to be helpful, most people are forgiving. The manager on duty when we visited should not only apologize to Amber but she needs some SERIOUS training in the basics of customer service.

I don’t know what’s going on here but these were nachos in a bowl. I’m honestly not sure my burger was safe for consumption as it was soaked in oil as if someone dropped it into the fryer on accident. These nachos were pretty sad. I can’t for the life of me figure out how this place is even open to the public. Baffled. Whoever owns this place should be embarrassed.

The inside seating lobby doors were closed, and we sat outside in our car for 15+ minutes in 100° teps to wait for Drive Though Fast Food lol. But when we asked if we can get 1 refill on a large that was mostly ice the worker rudely said no and it would cost extra... doesn't seem fair or good service. After spending almost $40 what harm does a refill make, especially when we got hot kids in the car.

Horrible food. Ordered 2 chicken tender kids meals, came with 2 tenders and fries. When I asked for bbq sauce instead of gravy (which they didn't get anyways) I was told it would be a charge. Then they proceeded to try and give me gravy. The bacon ranch burger had so much ranch it was literally pouring off of my sandwich. Bacon was practically raw. Couldn't even eat it. So much salt on the fries they were inedible too. Waste of time and money trying to eat here. $46 later and still have hungry kids.

This location NEVER has enough help! And the workers are rude to the customers even when the customers cannot reach the store by phone, the speaker doesn't work and they make you wait behind someone at the window instead of asking them to pull around while they take the next customers order. So when the customer asks why all the difficulty, they get attitude instead of an explanation. The difficulty with this is that it always takes 15 to 20 minutes to just get some food, the gravy containers are barely 1/4 full, the fries are always soggy, and just poor quality food. Hope they can turn it around because we need a decent DQ in this town.

Insane prices that seem to keep going up and average food!!!! $12 just for steak fingers and fries, no drink???!!!!!! Nothing is clean and employees can’t be bothered to turn parking lot and menu lights on for drive through. Will say the young male employee was very polite and nice.Parking: Nobody was there because it looked closed

Place was a little slower than what I am use to. The food on the other hand was hot a good. The iced tea was also delicious. I was passing through town when I can to this location. It was easy to drive into and get out of. It is right off the main road. This Dairy Queen did not disappoint in terms of flavor and ease of access.
