I went in for a new collar for my dog and nail clippers. I found what I needed, then checked out. At the register, I noticed some calming chews for dogs and I needed to get something like that. I asked the cashier about them and she and another worker told me what brand they carried and their experience with them. I chose the one I wanted to try on my chiweenie and bought that too. They were very helpful.

Thank you for my lizard .I lost my leopard gecko but I came to get a dragon breaded one in Garland it was so many options . I came all the way from Denton.The staff was so nice and kind to me .They helped me and they picked out a perfect breaded dragon for me and she’s so beautiful. Her name is princess and I’m so happy on the out come when she get so big and princess is so chill and very calm, my daughter she love her lizard and me to thank you guys for your help and being patient with me and picking the perfect one for me keep the great work up

We had our dog groomed at Firewheel Petco 3 times. The first 2 times, no problems. But this time Alexa butchered him. He has several bald spots, a couple skin nicks and she didn't do a "clean" face area like I requested. She called us to pick him up then left. The lady that waited on us wasn't interested in our complaints.

I have brought my Dalmatian to the grooming salon since he was a puppy. He’s 4 now. Since the beginning we have used Draven. She’s the absolute best. We have seen a couple of the others a time or two and they’re all wonderful! But only Draven makes my baby wiggle his butt! We also use Vitalcare so for $22 a month all of his nail trims and teeth cleanings are $0. We got lucky when we started going here!

Grooming was awful! My dogs had appointments today at 12:45 and 1:00. I called at 4:15 and was told they needed another hour. I explained I could not wait any longer and would pick them up in 15 mins. When I got there they gave me the tickets to go pay for full services without seeing my dogs. After paying, the dogs were returned and 1 had half a cut and the other was not bathed or brushed at all. So my dogs spent 4 hours in a kennel with one dog receiving 1/2 a service yet I was billed $187 for both. Do not bring your animals here.

The associate that helped me with my fish was VERY RUDE. Would not speak to me and would not make eye contact. She also insisted that I was wrong when ordering mystery snails stated that Indica gold snail is not a mystery snail and gave me a hard time because I asked for 4 mystery snails. She provided me with Nerite snails and then gave me an attitude when I explained I wanted the gold ones. That’s when she told me I was wrong and that they are not mystery snails.I am a premier Schirmer for my fish and my cats. I enjoy shopping at Petco however I do not appreciate her attitude towards me nor the way she got my fish nor the way she refused to say anything to me. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

So my husband passed away at 46 on January 27th. On February 2nd I found out my Doberman has DCM, stage 4. The vet recommended putting him down right then. As my grief couldn't allow that quite yet, I've been giving him meds prescribed by the vet to help with symptoms. I bought a $90 bag of dog food from this store on January 4th. We have gone through literally 3 cups of it. When I called to explain the situation, the employee told me that her "system" wouldn't allow her to exchange the food past 30 days. Well in the 30 day time window I was dealing with major life events. My vet recommended a different food with critical vitamins to extend his life as long as possible. I'm a single mom (stay at home mom) to a severely autistic son and my husband just passed away. I don't have another $90 to buy dog food after I've spent $800 at the vet and $15,000 to bury my husband just in the last 2 weeks! Completely ridiculous and I really hope no one has to go through what I'm going through. I will NEVER EVER go to another Petco again. I am not just the average customer with an average issue. Pet stores should do anything and everything they can to help a pet who is in desperate need. I wasn't asking for a handout just to exchange an entire 50lb bag of dog food for a 16lb of food that will help keep my dog around for a little longer. I honestly feel that Petco is contributing to my dogs death after I've already been through so much. If you want to put money into a caring company who stands by what they say please shop somewhere else.

I only come here for grooming now because of Morgan. She does such a great job with my dog, Logan. He’s always happy to go and isn’t scared or nervous when I pick him up.We’ve had bad experiences at other places and I believe that Morgan genuinely cares about her customers which is hard to find sometimes!!

This is a nice store. The people are friendly and there's a good selection of dog supplies.Addendum 10/20/2023: This is still the same store I know and love. I really appreciate the curbside option. I am disabled and have lost a lot of my autonomy, and curbside allows me to go out by myself and get the things we need. Thank you!

I've had my " blue lobster" that's what petco calls it, I'm pretty sure it's a blue crayfish, but anyhow... I have had him for three months and he is doing great!!! Just not much info on best food for him, but I have figured it out. Great hobby pet !

Well yesterday was my first time visiting. My son and I walked around looking for food for his bearded dragon. As we walked and talked about needing help an associate wouldn’t acknowledge us until we went to the front desk and asked for help. We were then assisted. Then I went back in today and when asked for crickets the nice lady at the front called for assistance and this association came to the section we were waiting in, didn’t say a word but pointed to a sign that said they were out of crickets then walked off. Frustrated I went to pay for this container my kiddo needed (which I shouldn’t have). while at checkout another lady came in for crickets as she was told they had them. Then, she was kindly told they were out by the same associate who wouldn’t say a word to me. She got upset and asked for a manager who was able to assist her with some crickets that had magically appeared from the back. This was so unfair. I really didn’t want to come back after the first visit yesterday and today really showed me that I can’t shop here anymore. The associates clearly pick and choose who they want to go out of their way to help and who they don’t want to be bothered with.

this location is terrible, I usually visit the one on Plano road, they all are so professional as soon as you get in they are greeting and asking you how they can help.I was here to get something which I couldn't find in Plano road location. no greeting, no one asks if you need something, finally after 10 minutes waiting my wife had go and call someone to help, another 5 minutes nobody show up finally Jenifer came but she went for the customer which just showed up, and then after 15 minutes came to us we told her that we need the fire shrimp she said she will help us when she is done with the other customer. another 5 minutes then came and said she will go to get something and she went back to the counter and started helping others my wife went and told another associate for help, we she showed up Jenifer came and said she is on it and will help the she a few more rounds for no reason and finally she had to help.it was terrible customer service particularly Jenifer which was so biased.

Usually like this place as I get a good amount of my cat supplies/food here. However, just learned that all the times they did not ask me if I wanted a bag and threw my stuff in one anyways, they had been charging me for the bag. It's just 10 cents, but why not ask the customer first? Would happily carry out if my stuff wasnt thrown into a bag at the first chance.

Loved our groomer Devan I believe that was his name. Our pup had dry patches, and he recognized the issue and recommended a different shampoo that he can use. Our pup has no more flaking and has his shiny coat again. He was so helpful will take the extra miles drive to go back to him.

I took my dog, Buddy to get his nails trimmed. During quarantine we haven’t gotten out much resulting in his nails getting a little too long.We met Trey at the counter after making an appointment and he was very kind while checking us in. Admittedly, Buddy gave them a run for their money at first but Trey was able to calm him down to get him trimmed up. He even trimmed up his paw pads. When I picked him back up he was just loving on Trey. I’ll definitely be back.Thanks again, Trey. You rule. 🤟

I get my rottie-boy groomed here. He's a rescue and a bit timid, but they always know just how to handle him. They generally leave the nails a bit long- but they have no issue cutting them shorter if you bring it up before checking out.

I usually do not post reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. I took my maltipoo in to be groomed. His hair was pretty long and I took a picture of how I wanted it to look because I did not want him shaved and with a traditional teddy cut. I wanted a longer look. The groomer looked at the picture and I asked if she could do it. She said yes. I asked if she needed to keep the picture for reference. She said she did not, saying that she had it "in her mind". When I came back to pick him up, he was completely shaved short with all of his head trimmed down to a very short teddy cut. I was very disappointed, but knew it would grow back, so I just accepted it. When we got home, I noticed my little guy had BAD razor burn all along his under side, including his private area. I had to get a C-collar and medicine and it took a couple of weeks for it to clear up while he was miserable. I would NOT recommend going here.

i love my local Petco employees. they always greet everyone with a smile. i don't even have to ask for help because they remember my shopping list. it's definitely THE experience you want in a store always.
