I went in here literally 4 minutes before close and Claire at the pharmacy treated me like I was her first customer of the day even though I’m sure she was tired after a long shift. I really appreciated her patience and kindness. Really made my night. 5 stars.

Horrible customer service from the pharmacy staff. Rude on the telephone and refused to help out. We waited over a month for a prescription for my son. Every time we called or visited to check on it we were dismissed and told they didn't have enough to fill it and didn't know when they would get any more in (and refused to check with other Walgreens pharmacies to look for more). We went across the street to CVS and they magically had it. We will for sure not be doing business with them any longer. If give a 0 star rating if possible.

Requested a prescription refill. They said they didn't have it in stock but would order it. Called several days later, they never received it, will order again, suggested I look elsewhere. Not what I expect from Walgreens.

Lost my medication for my cruise. My doctor sent a new script over. The two young ladies that helped me (as an out of state customer) and 2 insurances. The system gave them a bit of a hassle. Next thing I know there was an elderly man yelling at these girls, that they are not working their hardest and he was unhappy with the service. All she asked for was the last 4 of his phone number to help get him checked out and he started yelling more since he got a new phone and did not remember his phone number. That was not their fault! My husband kindly turned to him and tried to to explain that it was our insurance giving them a hard time. They were busy and working as quickly as they could.I was so impressed by Aniya and Korynn, they continued to help the man, was nice as could be to him and he was still being rude and causing a scene.These young ladies went above and beyond with their profession and continued to keep a smile on their faces. They truly deserve to be recognized for their hard work, professionalism and kindness.Let’s not forget with my insurance giving them a hard time they were still able to get my medication so I could make my cruise on time!No matter what happens from here ladies, keep your head up, keep those beautiful Smiles on your face and know.. we see you and appreciate you! You two have so much grind and dedication! The future is in your hands and you will go far in life!!

How can they do this to me every time ? I have gotten my meds here a few times and today was the final straw . It was the first time I used drive thru hoping to have better experience but was wrong .They have told me each time I go in my Meds were not rdy had to wait two days or 4 days . Yesterday the wife went in to get what I was told was rdy and they told her tomorrow. Well 6 pm I go thru drive thru and the lady can not find my name or meds . I asked why they do this every time . She then asks my name again and finds it then says no it’s not mine . The. Asked me through an intercom what medication it is . Well I suffer from Petronius disease and it’s not something you talk about in public but she demanded to know the medication . So while cars behind me and beside me look as I was having issues then I told her viagra , she said speak up . This was so embarrassing. I am disgusted and will never use them again

Lost prescription and NO help when my husband was having difficulty breathing, went to Affinity Health , received three prescriptions on one RX sheet. 8-9 hours later and multiple LONG waits and hang-ups. The clinic closed at 8:00 pm, pharmacy at 10:00 pm. One phone call lasted over one hour, on hold. No store manager. And the employees could not find the prescription and would not call Affinity Clinic. I had to call corporate and have to call again in the morning. All I can do is pray I don’t have to rush my sick and elderly husband to the ER. Shame on WALLGREENS for allowing such gross mismanagement. We are changing pharmacies.

If I could give zero stars I would — this is the worst run and managed pharmacy I’ve ever been to in my life. If this were my local pharmacy I’d drive 2x the distance just to be able to go to another location. Please fix this pharmacy for all the local people who have to deal with this week in and week out… 🤦♂️

Good selection of items. Rarely out of stock on anything they carry except for cold single drinks. Staff are friendly. The pharmacy is busy but they are efficient and quick..never to long of a wait

Trying to contact the pharmacy is impossible. I called the first time and waited 25 minutes and then the call hung up. Called again for 30 min and thought I was getting through because the hold music changed and then I was hung up on again. I had to call the main line just to get through to the pharmacy. It should not be this difficult. I don't mind being put on hold as long as I eventually get through. Thankfully the front desk staff helped me.

I have been waiting on prescription for 2 months. Various reasons why they couldn’t fulfill it, I won’t bore you with the series of specifics. But I transferred the medication to another Walgreens & they never seem to have a problem.I dislike leaving bad reviews but this is EMERGENCY medication and their incompetence is teetering on the line of NEGLIGENCE affecting peoples lives.I’ve waited for a long time to post this review but now it’s been 2 months without my emergency mediation and I’m OVER IT. You have an obligation to fulfil your duty Walgreens of 61st street. Do itCustomers: if you use the Walgreens app PLeASE 🙏 report this facility to corporate & use the feedback forms. WE MUST DO SOMETHING

I will not get any more prescriptions filled at this location due to the "floating pharmacist". She is rude, lacks people skills, and is uneducated on the store policies but trys to act like she knows what she is talking about. This is not the first time I've had to deal with her and had the dr office not accidentally sent my script here I wouldn't be dealing with her now. The other staff are a bit nicer and will try and help but they are so overloaded the lines take forever.

I hate getting scripts from here. The pharmacy is always backed up. I called this morning and got a message that all the pharmacy techs were on other calls with one call ahead of me. I thought one call, that shouldn't be too bad. 15 Minutes later still on hold.I JUST HUNG UP.

Only 1 star cause couldn't post with 0 star! Walgreens has forgotten they are a pharmacy serving patients...and over the years have seen the level of personable service go down to bare min. I am now a true devoted HEB pharmacy customer and refuse to frequent a Walgreens ever again. David Mgr at this store needs to be pushing carts at HEB vs managing a Pharmacy. Better yet HEB most likely wouldn't hire him!

Don’t try to call the pharmacy. They put you on hold and never answer. I was on hold for 20 minutes before they said I was next in line. I called on a different phone and it said two ahead of me and then one. They never answer the phone and the number on hold gets smaller because people eventually just hang up. I had to call the store manager and have file a complaint before I got to talk to somebody in the pharmacy.

Walgreens did not give my husband the proper instructions for his medication after pacemaker surgery. It nearly killed him. The pharmacy manager was rude and totally uncaring. Horrible experience.

The pharmacy never has the medicine, at least that's there answer for not having script. But when the Dr has to call it in, the find it in 30 minutes. I take blood pressure medication, I need it. There's a big guy that works in the drive thru, he dont move to fast....

Their pharmacy staff are nice enough, but count your medication because they’ve given me the incorrect quantity at least 3 times now. Also expect a long wait regardless of time of day. I waited for an hour because they straight up forgot to tell me the prescription was ready. I’ve also waited on hold for over 30 min just to have them disconnect my call. Infuriating honestly.

The pharmacy staff is some Of the best around this area. Erin, the pharmacy manager constantly goes above and beyond for several patients and gives a true meaning to the term “community pharmacist”..Way To go team. Wish I could give you all 10 stars!!

Had a COVID test scheduled at 12. Waited in line for 45 minutes and when I got to the window they said they couldn’t see me since I wasn’t “on time.”I told her I’d been waiting in line since noon. What’s the point of making an appointment? They overbook and are unprofessional. Was told to come back at 2, I asked if they would for sure take me then, and she said my safest bet is to come back at 5? Ridiculous to expect people to plan their day around their unorganized mess. Will not return

service lacking. Went through drive thru on Friday a little after 8am. They open at 8. No one in line, No one at couter either (could see through glass). Waited 10 minutes to get my Rx. Should have taken about 1 minute (and that is about how long it took once the pharmacist left her computer to wait on me). This is somewhat unreasonable. Why did she not just wait on me, let me get my prescription and then work on the computer?

Pharmacy tech was the sweetest, most caring customer service rep I’ve had the pleasure of working with in a long time. She went out of her way to find a cheaper version of medication my doctor prescribed, that was just as good as the expensive one. She had to call my insurance a few times to get it right but she was so nice and went completely out of her way to get it done. And at the end of it all she thanked ME for being so patient, polite and understanding of the fact that waiting on insurance isn’t a just quick phone call. She told me customers like me are what make her job worth doing and I wanted to just give her a hug. I never asked her to find me a cheaper medication, she insisted and went above and beyond to do that for me. And to know people still don’t appreciate that kind of heart is just awful. Walgreens, you have an amazing employee and I highly recommend you keep her around, because this is the kind of experience that keeps you in business.

The store was clean and they had what I needed but Rhea, the female cashier, acted like she was so bothered by everyone and the trash outside was repulsive. Make Rhea clean up the parking lot- it will look as if y'all care about your environment and then she would be more grateful to get to run the registers.

Just go to the CVS across the street. Blonde hair male working knows his job and black haired female does not. There is always an issue when picking up my medication which I have not encountered at other locations. Black haired female made an error back in November 2020 which is still affecting me in May 2021. Please come in and re-train this location Walgreens on how to read the screens.

Prescribed Amoxicillin for a dental infection and was told to contact the pharmacist if I experienced any one of an unsettlingly large number of side effects. I experienced three, so I called in. Guy was kind of dismissive and curt, I hung up with the feeling he felt his time was wasted by my concerns. I know it's easy to become short of patience and empathy in the medical field(I'm a WFR and a phlebotomist) but it still left a bad taste in my mouth. So there's that.
