I had the Bacon Lettuce Mozzarella Tomato sandwich with fries. My sister inlaw had the chicken and egg salad plate. The food was flavorful and reasonably priced. There is a bakery with the most amazing pies and sweet treats. We will go back before we leave to get their fresh baked bread and a pie. Definitely will come back again on my next trip to the island.

We're so pleased that we found this gem while traveling through Galveston. The menu has so many tempting dishes ..... it was not easy to choose. Even though breakfast is served all day, we decided on lunch. My husband chose the hot pastrami with fries and I had the Italian combo (half-sandwich) with a cup of cream of mushroom soup. Very tasty! We took a few bakery items to go - pecan pie dipped in chocolate and a cream puff as well as one each of the four cookies choices. Hard to pass up as they all look wonderful. And they were even better when we savored a couple of them after our dinner later in the evening. We also experienced excellent service from the time we arrive to the moment we left. Thank you to all the staff who make this restaurant what it is.

Food is terrific. Atmosphere makes this an enjoyable place to visit. The day was beautiful so sitting on the patio was lovely. We came here with expectations of their croissants, and sadly, they were out. We also ordered rounds of tequila sunrises, but they were all sun and no rise. So they brought us out some grenadine and extra cherries which we used to make the drinks better. Service was a little lacking at times as our waiter was hardly around to check on things. But overall, the food and experience of being here with their fresh bakery is worth a visit.

Beautiful place right in the heart of Galveston!Wonderful service and wonderful food!I highly recommend the Belgian waffle with fresh berries! A wonderful, extra large waffle topped with at least a cup of whipped cream, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries, and then powdered sugar! To die for!

We loved the breakfast here! Found this place while were driving around and decided to eat here. Loved the eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, bacon, potatoes, and refreshing drinks! Get the Little Breakfast as well. The waiter and staff were extremely friendly and plenty of delicious things on the menu to choose from. Lovely music and atmosphere as well. Overall, a must try!

We came here April 18th for breakfast. We decided to sit outside, and we were able to use a fly fan, which was a ton of help controlling the flies. I ordered the soft shell crab Benedict, my fiancé ordered the crab cake Benedict, and my mom ordered the little breakfast. It was all delicious, and we ate all of it. My fiancé ordered a cinnamon roll, and my mom got a couple fresh basket items. They have an entire glass case of bakery, fresh, made goods. I would definitely say this is a go-to spot if you're in Galveston.

Beautiful delicious food and bakery items. The pumpkin bread is divine. I've been back twice. The taco salad was FULL of chopped fresh veggies and just what I needed and wanted. It was VEGETARIAN...YAY! My companion said the fish and chips was delicious (Snapper!)The 3rd visit was to stock up on the wonderful cookies, granola, carrot and pineapple muffins, and slices of pie, for the trip home. The first time for breakfast, fried potatoes were very good, unique, albeit a little overdone. The scrambled eggs were not quite done, But overall very good... service excellent.

Had a great lunch. My cuban sandwich was so good. It was large and the bun was very fresh. In fact, it was so good I started eating it before I realized that I hadn't taken a picture of it. Quick, efficient, and friendly staff. Their bakery items looked delicious. I'm going back for the chocolate covered cream puffs.Parking: Very limited street parking

Food was very good, but ran out of cinnamon rolls and ham during the morning rush. Their wait staff were friendly and quick. We did have to wait 20 minutes to be seated, but well worth the wait. They also have a counter full of goodies from gravity defying meringue pies to chocolate covered pecan pie!Parking: Like most places in Galveston, it can be hard to find parking. We ended up parking around the block.

Great spot for a relaxing lunch! Got the Eggs Benedict for about $17. Eggs were a good texture with a nice runny yolk and a creamy sauce. Potatoes were very tender on the outside and crispy on the inside.Aesthetic is very relaxing and homie.Servers were efficient and friendly.

They understood the assignment!!I can’t have bread or cheese but this grilled chicken Avocado sandwich was not sad even without the bread and cheese!!Best meals we’ve eaten were here while in GalvestonDietary restrictions: No dairy no bread! Probably not severe allergic friendly cuz it is a bakery but if some cross contamination is ok-I say give it a try

Absolutely love everything about this place, the food is ABSOLUTELY amazing, the staff is always so great and it's so cozy and easy to sit back and relax😊 They have such a wonderful variety on their brunch and lunch menus, whether you're wanting a more relaxed and regular kind of brunch or a fancy fancy one, they've got you covered! My husband personally really really enjoyed they're eggs Benedict with a filet and pork, and I had beignets for the very first time and they were sooooo tasty and light as a feather!! We will definitely be back here again the next time we come through for sure! Plus, the funniest thing was, was that we had an ironic encounter of sitting next to fraternal twins who were enjoying their lunch break there at the same time we were, while our twins were sitting in their high chairs right beside them. Wish we'd gotten a picture because it was just too funny! 😚 It is really tricky to get a parking space so definitely plan to walk a bit if there's no spaces in their parking lot because it is super small and always full to the brim, which is a good problem to have but frustrating when you're super hungry and just ready to sit and eat😂 I would be super helpful I think if they had a way to get on a wait list, kind of like what Texas Roadhouse has. Would make it a lot easier to wrangle kids without just waiting and them getting restless in the front area. But like I said before, it's definitely worth all of it to enjoy their home-cooked food. I think if it had been hotter and not windy we would've sat outside and that would've been really nice too as they've got a great little seating area outside under a gazebo. So if you end up going, which I highly recommend, enjoy and REALLY enjoy 😉

What a great local spot! Worth the wait, quick table turnover, friendly staff and delicious food! Thanks Frank, manager, for sharing some of the history and introducing us to their amazing tomato basil soup! The waffles were delicious, the quiche was flavorful and bakery items were on point. Try their beignets! We will definitely return on our next visit to Galveston!

I didn't actually sit at the restaurant. I had intention of having lunch but as soon as I laid eye on the bakery side of things, I knew that there would be no reason to eat the actual food. The pastries were delicious. The a pineapple carrot muffin was so good, I'm going to have to go back and get another. The cream puff was flaky drizzled with chocolate and almonds and the cream was not too sweet. I also ordered a slice of chocolate pie because I can't control myself when I see fluffy meringue. This meringue probably needed its own area code, It towered over the chocolate filling but was light and airy. Underneath the chocolate filling had a dense texture but wasn't overly cocoa nor was it overly sweet. The two textures complimented each other perfectly with the crispy shell.

Definitely NOT a hotel but certainly a very good breakfast establishment. This place was pretty busy but a large facility so no problem getting in and serviced for a party of 6.I told you all about the gumbo diner on the seawall, this place is very good as well. Absolutely worth a visit and the next time we are in town, we will eat here again and try something else on the menu.Food & drinks: Come try this place. You won't be disappointed.

Great place for breakfast on the island. The food was delicious and made fresh. The chicken is cooked perfectly and the potatoes are delicious! If you go try one of the bakery items the cinnamon roll is pretty tasty and warmed up it’s delicious. The bacon wasn’t all that great I’d suggest getting a different side. We had a very attentive waitress. The wait wasn’t too long, pretty reasonable considering how packed it is. We had a table of 7 and they included the gratuity on the check which was 18% gratuity. We sat outside in the patio with our dog, such a plus when I can bring my dog with me to a restaurant.
