The owner curates so many unique pieces that you'll find the perfect gift each time you visit. One of my favorite shops on the island and a must visit whenever you’re in town! It’s my favorite place to find unique gifts for my mom and teenage cousins! They really have a selection that fits every age group. Honestly I think the owners must be discriminating against people of color because in the reviews I see they allowed kids to pet their cats, but when my children did, we were forcefully kicked out and was spoken to in broken Spanish as an insult. She screamed at my children and told them they are not allowed to touch the cats. I would never step inside this place ever again. Everything is over priced anyways. The lady went as far as to threaten us with a gun if we didn’t leave the sidewalk in front of her store which is public property. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.Updated March 13, 2024Congratulations, it took you 2 years to reply. As a business owner you should learn to get to your clients in a more timely manner. I have video footage of your clerk, telling my child to not touch the cat and screaming at us and threatening us with a gun. I will gladly post it on TikTok and make you famous and you’re right I would never come into your business ever again with your expensive prices for your cheap merchandise and if you’re the owner, I called you and spoke to you about your clerk at the time who was your best friend. You just screamed at me and said that you knew her for a long time and that you believed her even though I told you I would show you the video footage please say the word and I will happily tag you on a TikTok video how you had your clerk screaming at a autistic child I’m pretty sure a lot of people won’t be too happy about that. And for your information the street is a public domain so if anyone wants to protest in the street, they are allowed to.

Really nice staff and cats but it's all Temu stuff. A mermaid dress that is $8 on temu they are selling for $33. Also some of the jewelry seemed to be from there.

The two cats inside the shop are cute. One friendly (the long haired) than the other (the short haired). The shop didn’t have anything that peaked my interest but I was with a company and at least one person purchased an item. They have zodiac necklaces here if anyone is interested.

I absolutely Love The Naked Mermaid! My favorite little shop in Galveston! I tell my Husband its a Must Stop every trip we take to the beach. Today I got to bring my daughter for her first time and the store owner is SO friendly and nice and did the sweetest thing by giving her the cutest tiny mermaid ring and braclet. We definitely enjoyed chatting with her.

This store was one of my favorite stops during my stay in Galveston. The atmosphere created in this shop is unlike any other, and I enjoyed talking with the wonderful women working. If my luggage bag was bigger, I would’ve definitely left with more. I can’t wait to come back just to visit them again! Even if you don’t see something your style in this shop (which I truly can’t imagine is possible) stop in and say hi to the lovely shop birdies 💗

Such a cute shop on Post Office. They have some kitties that live in the shop who are adorable to check out laying on the displays, looking as if they are for sale themselves. The fine selection of jewelry is reasonably priced and quite eclectic. I snagged a few cute shirts that were made of good fabric and are super fun. The art in the building I saw was done by what seemed to be local artists and all went with the mermaid theme. All in all, I would definitely return when I go back to Galveston.

The best part of Galveston Art Walk in October was visiting this charming shop with it’s wonderful owner and staff. I got several compliments on the earrings I purchased and look forward to coming in again when I’m in Galveston. Thanks for being there and making me smile!

I had a really great time in this store and the people are very friendly the two cats that are in there are so cute and they really make it so much fun to go in. I even got to pet one of them so that was even better. There was a lot to look at and I just had a great time. When I go back in September I will definitely be making this one spot to hit again
