I needed a place for my 12yo lab to get a complete flea bath plus a few more services she needed. They did an amazing job, plus recommended a deep conditioning treatment on her as the flea bath would be drying plus she was dry as it was. I have to say, she came out so shiny and super soft!!!!! I will definitely take her back!

We are Winter Texans traveling with two Yorkies and strive to find good groomers along the way. We tried another groomer in Galveston and they were terrible. We found Salty Dog Wash groomers and scored. The groomers here are artists in their work ethic. They are friendly also and strive to see that you and your pets are well taken care of and that you are pleased with the results. We have been full time traveling for almost eighth years and this place is at the top of the list for groomers for Mickey and Toby.

I will definitely use this place again. Very clean, great service, and wonderful products. I came in for the self service tub. It’s a very clean bathing area and the shampoos that I was given to use are the Earthbath brand, I love these shampoos they always make my dogs coat feel great. The water pressure is awesome to help get her undercoat loose and get the soap out much faster. They give you several towels and an apron to use and they even have the high velocity blow dryers to make drying so much faster. I will definitely use this place again.

I asked my buddy who is animal control on the island for the best place to get my old lady rescue yorkie's hair did. Without hesitation said Salty Dog. Was her first cut she's gotten since moving back to the area from NW Houston. Was not disappointed at all in the result. The price was awesome as well. Was able to take her into the Humane Society to be hang out while I worked. for drop her off and pick her up all in my day to day schedule with no issues or delays. She looks great! Definitely going to keep going back. One and done finding them. Went through three places in Houston before we found the right one. That wasn't a cheap search either. Salty Dog gets 6 stars in my book.

The people here were so understanding about my dogs not being used to being left. My 20 year old Jack Russell was taken such good care of and you can see in the picture that the 8 year old my was made as beautiful as could be even though she argued with them about the nail trim.

5 stars all around. My shih tzu is a pain in the rear when it comes to grooming- I have taken her to many places that call and ask me to come get her because they can’t finish the grooming. We were tourist visiting Galveston Island for the week of spring break. I was surprised that they let my dog hang out while we went to eat at a restaurant so I didn't have to leave her in the car.I really appreciate her being pampered by the staff. Thank you

I just left salty dog and it was a great experience. The staff was so kind and helpful. The self dog wash was perfect.They also took the time to trim my dogs nails which often seems like an impossible task.This will be my go to place now that I'm living on island!

Moved to the island in 2022. Our pups have been bathed and groomed several times here. Our guys are always clean and relaxed when we pick them up. Salty Dog also offers a self service dog wash, which is really nice. The prices are extremely reasonable and they’re ready in a couple of hours. *Their prices are ala carte, which is also nice.

She was groomed beautifully but the undercoat shed release caused her to shed even more than before she went in. I was hoping for no more hair shed as with her previous groom salon would do. Very friendly staff and will be bringing in other pets of mine to be groomed, just not having the undercoat release used this time.

Awesome place to wash the salt and sand off of our fur babies. They were super nice and provided everything you would need to clean your pups, even a slicker brush which helped remove some of the loose fur after blow drying. Plus if you have more than 1 doggo, it’s only $10 for the second! I will definitely bring our dogs back! Highly recommend.

We took our Schooner there as this place was recommended by our neighbor. This is the first time we have a dog and we were so leary. The staff was so sweet and patient with me and she came out so cute! Thank you Salty Dog. We will be back.

I had an appt for 2pm on yesterday! I arrived at 1:40 since it was our first time there. They said they would call me since it was going to take 2.5 hrs. We never got a call so we showed up around 4:30. They never even started on my Bella . She was in the cage the whole time. This is BAD BAD BAD customer service. You have lost a really good customer for life.Do not bring your puppy here at all !Employees act like they don't care at all.

I fell in love with this place. My poodle has always fought when trying to trim his nails. He lives with my ex who is partially blind so he is afraid he will cut him. I have him for awhile while the ex goes out of country. Needless to say his nails were in bad shape. I sat and watched as he stood still while she clipped his nails. She was very loving with him. While waiting I noticed 3 other dogs being groomed. Long haired dogs. They were beautiful. It is a dual type of shop. One side has staff to do the grooming and on the other side are bathing stalls for self service. Thank you to the staff.
