This review is about the meat department. If you are not buying your meats and seafood here, you are doing yourself a disservice. This meat counter is the best. The employees here are the most friendly and helpful you coukd ask for. I take advantage of the sales ads and buy whatever is on sale. If I don't like what is on the shelf, I will see what's in the case. They have the best cuts there. The sales ad usually have choice and prime which are excellent. If you need something cut, no problem. 2 I ch steaks ok, 3 bone rib roasts, ok no problem. These are the butchers you want to talk to. Just tell them what you want to do, and they will make sure you get what you want. Ronnie and Juan are the guys I usually see, but everyone there has been helpful and made every request a reality. I will continue to post more pictures of my achievements to show what is possible when you have the right people to get you the right piece of meat or seafood. I will continue to praise these guys and plan on sharing my experiences with them and showing what is possible with their help. I want to thank them for helping me make great memories with my family and friends

One of my favorite grocers. I receive good coupons deals. I look forward to Wednesdays because of Randall'sSurly people at the meat counter. +They'll see you waiting while they're doing something away from the counter and not acknowledge you. For example, simply say that I'll be with you shortly. This has happened multiple times. I'll still shop here.

Rarely shop at Randall’s but stopped by to pick up a good sale on ground beef. I got to the register and Lucy helped me clip the coupon on the app (of course there’s and app and it is user friendly but I don’t shop here regularly and couldn’t figure out if I clipped the coupon or where to find it) when the ground beef rang up wrong she said follow me and we walked over to the meat department to get the correct meat that was from the coupon on sale. Saved me $15! Lucy was genuinely kind and patient. When I got home I told my mom and she said oh that must have been Lucy… she’s always very helpful. Would love to shop at Randall’s again!

I own a restaurant in Galveston and I had a big problem. I spoke to one of the managers and within 24 hours the problem was solved. They went above and beyond to help me! It's a GREAT store!

This place is near where I visit a friend and sometimes I stop in to walk a bit, they had this deal on insanily goodmeat, buy 1 get 2 free, so I got almost 30$of meat for 12$. Neat place to shop for deals.

Very dirty store entrance, bird droppings & cig butts everywhere. A simple power wash done monthly is desperately needed. Also no one is ever around to bag the groceries. This store is losing business due to these very simple errors that could be easily remedied. Go figure!

It's pretty okay, but not exactly remarkable. (Pun intended.) Good meat department, but expensive. Some specialty, international, and kosher foods, but not a very wide selection of anything. -Correction - they've a lot of beers and wines. Parking is only a few steps from the door. Feels safe. Pretty well-lit. Clean, but just kind of old, I guess. A little pricey.

Good store with good prices.My go to in Galveston over Kroger and Walmart.Good meat and seafood prices among others.Only gave it 4 stars cause the self check outs aren't the easiest to use compared to HEB and other stores.Otherwise a great store with good employees.

KACY, a cashier at the Galveston store, is amazing. She showed kindness and caring while efficiently cashing me out. ( I am one of those older customers who manages to do everything wrong) The store was jam-packed at the time, almost all the customers cashing out at the same time. She was called in to open a new line and the whole time KACY had this warm smile on her face for everyone in her line. THANK YOU!

Quite the awesome store!Everything is nicely laid out, very clean, excellent produce, bakery, meat and seafood department with some helpful butchers, it’s all good!Don’t forget to get your savings card, it’s free and rewarding.

Wished the placing of items could be more organized. Needed some variety of candies, chips and zebra sweet cakes: the zebra cakes and candies aisles are located on completely opposite side of store, the roll ups gushy candies are in some middle aisles closer to pet foods, and chips are in their “snacks” section where I also noticed that it included some ‘sweets’ candies and chocolates. I ended up spending like 4x-5x longer than I expected trying to find these simple items in my list. During my visit, I interacted with four employees: one was helpful, one tried to help me find an item with no luck as I think employees are also confused of their store layout, another one was nice and greeted me, last (actually the first worker I interacted with coming in the store) and most definitely least snubbed me when I asked a question. Now my question might obviously be ‘dumb’ as I asked if I could use a cart located by the entrance of store, but I was just trying to be nice as he was fixing and organizing them and it was late at night and so I thought maybe those are already set in there as part of their closing tasks.Tldr: 3/5 stars as 3/4 employees provided basic-good customer service and found all items needed but one employee was a snub and item layouts could be very confusing.

I’ve been coming here for about 2 years now and I’ve had no problems until recently. Every time I go to check out they stand and watch to make sure I’m not stealing because of my skin color. I’ve never had problems with any of the employees before. This is the closest store to me but I guess I’ll go elsewhere I rather not be racially profiled.

Store laid out in an sensible manner, isle content well marked. It was clean well staffed. Produce was fresh and plenty of selections. Meat counter was exceptional. Egg prices were $ .50 cheaper than Wally World.

After a minor wedding cake catastrophe, Randall's hooked us up. The cake was beautiful and tasted very good as well. Even better it was 100$ less than what I had originally planned to spend!

It's been a long time since I felt like I was a local in a small hometown.....with Walmart and Kroger close by it would be easy to take the cheapest or quickest route, but just around the corner is one of the best grocery stores by far, RANDALL'S on 61st St. Sits back off the beaten path just far enough that the tourists seem to overlook it , making it a magnet for the locals to come to! And if you're looking for quality you found it here from the produce to the pharmacy it's A-1. Wonderful savings in the weekly sales ads and a reward program where you can really see how fast they stack up!

Once again I needed to use the ladies restroom today. Once again I walked in, gagged and walked out. Once again I spoke to a manager who told me once again that it’s going to be remodeled! It speaks volumes when a store has such little regard for its customers and staff. I’ve seen cleaner porta potty’s! You’d think with prices at Randall’s they would have enough money to have a useable restroom.

I like the floral dept and the deli. Both are well stocked. Found mother's day flowers and a few heat and eat meals for dinner. I also like the soups from the deli.
