The staff is always friendly and helpful. If they get busy they're quick to open up Lanes to get people checked out. You don't feel like you're being policed or scrutinized like some big box stores can be at times. The live plants/ flowers are always fresh and lively. Produce, bakery, and meat products are always top quality

I was in the area and just want some quick snacks before heading out to the beach. The ready made food is fresh and I found everything I needed quickly. The store is nice and clean and the staffs are very helpful and courteous. Excellent place to shop. 👍

What a great store! I don't normally shop at Kroger, but now I will! Sherilyn was very helpful, as was Valencia. They set me up with a Kroger card and got us checked out quickly. Great wine selection, good prices and friendly helpful staff.

Been getting my groceries here for the past 15 years. Friendly and helpful staff but why close half the self checkout area during the busiest times?? At any given time there's only about 2 regular registers open. I have bought pre packaged salmon here twice and both times had to return it as it was rotten. So don't buy prepackaged fish here!

Went to get gas before heading out gas station attendant on 5/5 between the hours of 9am-11am made me extremely uncomfortable when talking to me. Red flag 1 was they looked to see what I was riding and started talking about it before I could pay for gas. Red flag 2 was after I paid and was trying to fill up he came out to fix the sign on something near me and ask if I could take him for a ride on my vehicle sometime. Red flag 3 was asking where I was from and slightly pushing for it. Red flag 4 is he was waiting for my friend to leave and continue to talk to me. This was extremely unprofessional for one of your employees to do and made me feel extremely unsafe to ever use your gas station again. Other than that the actual store itself was pretty good.

Clean store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The store has trouble staying stocked, likely due to tourists. I place an order & they will be out the next day. Great selection of fresh produce and healthy foods. They also need to add more basket returns on the east side of the store.

I try to never shop here but when I do, somehow, without fail, something I purchase has mold on it. If you browse the bread section, you can find something with mold pretty quick. Bought cheese last night and tried to make sure it didn’t have mold before I bought it, and yet, had a sandwich today and found that the ”best by April” (it’s February) didn’t save me.

Love this store. It has the same products as other store in other locations but that one with all the beach, vacation products make feel that you are far far far from home.... The staff are very nice, and friendly. The line for Starbucks was very long as usual during the weekend and holidays (only 2 staff, they need to have more for that busy days. It was like 6:20pm saturday and was very crowded). The store inside was clean and organized. Outside in the parking was a little messy and the people going there (local &/or turist) they are no very clean and leave trash on the floor (same that they do not care).

Busy busy busy, we were there at 3 on a Tuesday and it was packed. Checkout was fairly quick but dang was it packed. Medium sized grocery store but they have everything. Deli was great with the boars head meats. Yumm. Clean store, helpful staff. Small parking lot and super busy store made me give it a 4 out of 5.

The seafood DEAL section at this Kroger is better than any Kroger I've seen. Well duh because it's on the beach. They get a lot of left over wild catches from the fishermen. If you go here early, you'll score a lot of great DEALs that would have cost you twice as much at those boutique seafood stores (like Katie's Market).

Great prices and great selection. We found everything we wanted here and they had great deals if you get their loyalty card. The card is super easy to get as well. It is also clean and the workers are friendly. They dont have great beach towels though which was surprising.

This store is being located at a fantastic location. If you are going for a walk at beach and wanna buy something this is the right place. Well maintained, very fresh produce and varieties with deals.

The bathroom are dirty, there guac has to much onions, overall it’s a nice short but they shld fix those two things I mentioned. That how much onion I picked out of two teaspoons of guacamole smh

I love this store! This location is full of friendly, smiling, helpful folks that seem to Love their jobs! Very rare these days! The hot deli section has delicious foods! Got the spaghetti today. So Good! I appreciate the Wide Selection of Produce! The Salad Bar is Awesome! Just spent $9 on what is easily a $15 salad elsewhere! I'll always give them my $$$!

It was about as good as any Kroger's. A couple strange aisle pair ups (like office supplies being with all the baby paraphernalia), but overall pretty standard. The balloon/flower staff member was incredibly kind and competent so I took a picture of the flowers in tribute to her.

This location had EXCELLENT customer service. I, like any other American, love my rotisserie chicken. It's what gets me relaxed after a long day of driving. The kitchen stops cooking rotisserie chickens at 7PM, but I would arriving in Galveston at approximately 7:30 PM. So, I decided to call ahead at about 10AM in order to reserve myself a rotisserie chicken. I didn't expect it to work because I had never tried it before, but, to my surprise, it did, and the lady on the phone was extremely kind and easy to work with. Thanks to her, I will be able to effectively relax tonight. 11/10 service. This Kroger will be my go-to grocery store in Galveston from now on.

It's clean. It's pretty safe, there are police watching the parking lot, which is not very well-lit. Kind of over-priced. Not enough whole foods, particularly baked goods. Parking is kind of a hassle. They're kind of strict about refunds. There are some really nice people working there sometimes.

Drove 20 minutes there for my pick up order yesterday, waited for 20 minutes, then an associate came out and said their system was down and they couldn’t finalize my order. They already shopped it but they couldn’t give it to me. A phone call would have been nice so I wouldn’t have had to drive all the way there. Or they could have come out right when I got there and not make me wait. They said to come back tomorrow (today) but I don’t understand why it will be working today if it wasn’t yesterday. I’m a full time student at UTMB so it is hard for me to take time out to treck across the island to get groceries. Will not be shopping at Kroger again. I would rather drive to the H‑E‑B in Texas City. At least I know I’ll get my food there.
