Very cute ice cream shop with delicious ice cream. Staff is friendly. They have a lot of interesting flavors. I sampled the salted caramel, which was yummy! My hubs had the lemon shortbread. It was also tasty. Our daughter enjoyed the blue raspberry with gummy bears! We got mini cups, which were $5. A little pricey for a tiny cup, but they overload them. We will return to try more flavors!

The ice cream was absolutely delicious and amazing!! But can’t leave 5 stars due to an unprofessional employee. There was a very long line of people that we were waiting in and only one employee was serving us when a group of teenage girls decided to cut the line and one of them went behind the counter and started to serve all her friends instead of helping her co worker, the other employee served the entire line herself just fine, but that is unacceptable, great ice cream but they have got to train their employees better.

Came here with some friends last night, and we had a great time! They have a nice mix of fun flavors and more traditional flavors. I ordered the peach and cherry with rainbow sprinkles in a waffle cone, and my friends had the biohazard, which is a mix of multiple flavors, in a sugar cone and the Cookie Monster with chocolate chips in a waffle cone. Everything was super creamy and delicious! You also get an unlimited number of samples, which is cool. I would definitely come back here!

Each trip we take to Galveston always has to involve a stop at Hey Mikey’s. They are always super friendly and of course their ice cream is just delicious. We tried the Ice Cream Nachos this time and they are really good. The waffle chips had just come out and were crisp and delightful to dip into the ice cream selections (you get to choose 4 flavors with the nachos). The homemade whipped cream was very smooth and tasteful as well. I definitely recommend trying Hey Mikey’s Ice Cream.

Instead of having a bridal and groom cake we did cake and ice cream for dessert at our wedding reception and Hey Mikey's Ice Cream delivered! They catered my wedding reception and it was an absolute hit! We worked with Kristin and she was so kind and met all our preferences and was very good at communicating. I had actually never been to Hey Mikey's before our wedding but I was delighted by their delicious and unique ice cream flavors! Although we don't live in Galveston we will certainly make it a destination when we visit!

I was super impressed with working with Hey Mikey's.... Wanting to send a sweet treat to The Animal Clinic in Galveston, I called and spoke with Kristin, and she listened carefully to what I wanted and she came up with an AWESOME idea of having an ice cream sundae 🍨 bar for the staff.... We had a 30 minute wait for little daddy's Gumbo Bar down the street so we decided to come kill the time here n grab a small ice cream. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. Unfortunately they didn't have any waffle cones and were out of many toppings but to be fair we came in late & it was a hot day during the week of spring break so I'm sure they had been busy all day. Prices were reasonable and the ice cream was good. I recommend a stop by for some ice cream at anytime of the day.

Best ice cream in Galveston, and the prices are great. I pay about 8 bucks including a decent tip for a single in a waffle cone, which is more than enough ice cream for even the most ravenous of us.Parking: good luck buddy

Stopped in this evening and ordered 3 pints to go. Price was $10 each. The amount of ice cream in each pint was deplorable and there was a lot of space in each container. I would have gotten more ice cream if I ordered it in a waffle cone. I love to support local businesses and the ice cream is good, but the the value just isn't there if this is how they skimp on the to go orders.

The ice cream was pretty good but the staff there freaked me and my boyfriend out. They were very silent and kept making very intense eye contact with us. We could tell they definitely did not want us there and it weirded us out a whole lot. Very strange and weird and would probably not recommend unless you want to interact with soulless skinwalkers that Probably don’t like you or your presence

This ice cream was delicious! We split the ice cream nachos. I'd seen the picture online the night before and knew I needed to have that! Delicious ice cream choices and plenty of topping choices as well. Their homemade whipped cream was super delicious. I'd order this again as a treat, but not regularly, since it is so many calories 🤣😊

We ordered a waffle cone with cake batter ice cream, a bowl with cake batter, a sugar cone with death by chocolate (love the chunks), a root beer float, a vanilla shake, peach and almond joy, and a donut with banana oreo! Everything was very fresh. The donut concoction was VERY good. We all loved the smoothness of the icecream. And the service was great, attention to detail, kind, and very clean table area. 👍

Stopped into Hey Mikey’s last night with some friends. They had a really unique selection of flavors, including green tea and cereal milk! I got the biohazard, which is basically a mix of mystery flavors, and it was really nice. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and really cute comfort colors t-shirts! I’ll absolutely be back!

Came for a free sample displayed outside, instantly I knew this cozy shop wasn't going to disappoint. Loved the artistic decor displayed throughout the space. Friendly staff that allowed us to sample some of their signature flavors and made suggestions of their own. Settling on a homemade cone with strawberry cheesecake was a great way to wrap up the afternoon with the wife & dog.Thank you, Wolfgang.

Very friendly servers. The smell of the fresh waffle cones lured us in! I sampled the watermelon ice and the sour apple ice. They were both very good. Kids wanted a boba milkshake and cookie monster ice cream.

Have heard good things about this place from locals so we needed to check it out. Interesting flavors and serving options. The ice cream donut was very rich but definitely worth the $4 price. The cup portions were small but the ice cream is flavorful. Will probably come back again if we’re on that side of town. Otherwise might stick to the confectionary.
