Went into the store Halloween items were naked as 50% & 75% off. I get to the register it’s full price but the sign right in front of it says 75%off. Sale basket as soon as u walk in with shoes in it tags marked as $1.00 they put a sign on the baskets as $1.25 I went to the register and they were ringing up the up marked price not the price that is on the tags and they all say $1.00 on the tag so it is supposed to be honored as the tag marked. We waited for the manager Cynthia arrived after the employee looked all over the store for her. She comes and says they are $1.25 I said no ma’am the tags says $1.00 so you have to sell it as the price on the tags not what y’all marked up she said no I told her that is the policy. She argued that the sign says a different price and I again said this is the price on them you are supposed to honor it. So she begins to remove the tags off the shoes on the counter so she doesn’t have to give it to me for the correct price. And refused to make it right so I refused to spend a dime in there nothing marked was right. Cynthia needs to focus on customer service and cleaning the store she doesn’t seem to know how to properly run this store . DO BETTER!

The employees here are beyond rude. Any questions you have will get a huff and puff with an eye roll. It literally smells like a port a potty. And they have roaches crawling in the walls. And the employees pee in buckets because their bathroom is broke… absolutely the most disgusting family dollar store ever.

People who work there were very friendly.Especially Wanda. She was very helpful.But they still are getting the store backtogether after some remodeling they haddone. They still do not have all the products in stock yet. They are working on it. Some really good deals on clearance items, I was amazed . Bought a pair of shoes for $3.50 .

Hi I stopped by your store on 5-17-23 around 7:30 an I picked up so items that was on sell on the rack at the front we when I checked out they was full price in stead of the price marked on the tag well when I asked the cashier said her manager was marking the price down tomorrow an told me to come back an made me get to the back of the line to get re checked out. That's not right on y'all's end it seams like it's always on y'all's end

You had to use a card or have exact change if using cash. I am quite sure a couple stole something while I was there. They were acting strange and the security alarm went off when they left. The staff was nice and helpful.

The store was absolutely FILTHY. I tripped multiple times just trying to get through the aisles. There was half eaten food (now rotten) just littering the half empty shelves as well as all throughout the entrance and parking lot. I was honestly shocked at the condition.

Stopped by today to get a few items. The ground was littered with items. Open bags of chips on the shelves. What looked like mold on the hand sanitizer dispenser. None of the shelves looked straightened. Looked very unkept all around. I just put the few items I had picked up back where I found them and took my money elsewhere. Clean your store up.

Terrible customer service. I was looking for one particular item. I asked the girl at the register and she said she didn't know if they had it but I should try this and that isle. So I did and those were toy isles. So I went back to her and asked if someone could come out and help me look and she said I don't know, I don't know If my manager came out and then yells out her name. Nobody came and she didn't offer to help so I set my item down and left. I'll go somewhere where someone will actually want to do their job.

The store is closed till Sept 15th for renovations it says. Although when I went by there was nothing happening and today is the 14th. Not 1 car in the lot. I once drove up and an employee was fist fighting with a patron by the dumpsters. The store was locked then too.

Absolutely some of the most rude employees we've ever experienced. Cashier told a customer he didn't have any change, she asked if he wanted her business and he said "I don't care!"Then, we bought a bag of ice, went to the ice freezer and it was locked. Walked back inside and same guy said "I said we'd be out there in a minute!" And then sent another employee to assist us who was talking on her personal cell phone (personal call) the entire time!

Very rude and management staff was also unhelpful and rude. I wasn't wearing a mask due to a medical condition also no shoes (because it's an island right?) So she very rudely addressed me and told me to get a mask. I admitted that I had a medical condition and was exempt. She said "that wasn't a thing" So after I objected greatly. I submitted and got a mask and my shoes. I went back in and asked to speak to manager. The "assistant manager told me I couldn't talk to her unless I gave him a reason. She with more protest I relented and tried to make my purchase but was then told to leave. Mind you from the beginning I asked the initial person to please contact police and have them come out. She refused, but after I returned into the store and tried to make my purchase and was told to leave they finally decided to dispatch police. I didn't use profanity and was only trying to get the manager's name so I could contact corporate. I hope no one else has to experience such rude and unprofessional behavior. Medically exempt is a "thing" and I stand by the one rude comment I made to her. She is insane!

I found a air compressor for "reduced price". Due to the questionable quality, experience with my alike last one (breaking in a wk.) & product (the only one) being on discount), i asked an employee..."if this doesn't work, may i return it"?. She told me she wasn't sure, she thinks so but that I should ask the man at the counter. At checkout, I asked the man my question. He said "I don't know but I don't think so. Come back in morn. to ask manager". I said "There's not a manager here?" He stated he was the assistant manager & I then said "your a manager & can't answer my simple question about your return policy"? He told me rudly..."it's not a simple question".This isn't my first experience here with rude customer service. Like the time I took my boy to pick out a gift on his birthday & the employee told us to put the toys back where we find them, as we were reading the back of one.Really?? Bty..I'm the one that always does, having worked in resale before.I have spent alot of money at this store & expect a little more in return.I would suggest Mr.Devon needs more managerial training. Possibly him reading his stores return policy might be of use for future customers, especially being it's Christmas time & not telling your customers.."I don't know". Maybe..taking the time to figure out the answer & or being polite to your customers will help ensure your future at this company.

Very scary employee!!!! SHOULD have been a simple interaction! I KNOW SHE WAS ABOUT TO GET VIOLENT! This lady clerk had a male visitor before during and after the question was asked of her. Probably did not want her personal life disrupted with paying customers!! Very GHETTO

Store started put nice enough. Now ailes are cluttered and there are many full boxes of products littering the floor. The one staff perso i saw was friendly but everyone else must have gone home for the day.

Store was more cluttered than usual. For some reason there were more than a few guys asking for money out front. Odd place to be begging. They should know if your at the Family Dollar u are usually not flush with cash.

Employees are alright. Why doesnt this place have any shopping carts? Like ever. The one down the street that everyone says is soo ghetto...is way better. Always stocked up and service is awesome.

Horrible manager! She kick kids out for not being supervised. Its a small store with many cameras most adults steal from there these kids just wanted to buy some chips. I beleve shes rasist because shes white and the kids "boys" were african american!

I like this family dollar. My only complaint is...they close earlier then the others. It says on here that they're open till 10 but they're open till 9. Also..on certain days, they will lie..put a sign on door saying register is broke and its really not. Did it the other night sometime before 8pm. I know 100% nothing is wrong with registers.
