The prices are pretty good for most stuff. Some canned/boxed groceries, but mostly just candy, chips, nuts, and snacks. There are some frozen foods, some dairy/lunchmeat coolers, beer/wine/cigarettes. You can find kitchen/laundry/bathroom/cleaning supplies, toys/diapers, dogfood/toys, toiletries, bug spray, sunscreen, stationary, greeting cards/balloons/party supply/gift wrap, t-shirts/shoes/shorts. T.P. & P.T. !Park on Broadway right in front of the doors, and watch out for cars when you're getting out. Watch your purse and walk fast, there's usually some loiterers hanging around. You might stand in line a minute - they're usually understaffed, but never a terribly long wait. Open til 10.

EXTREMELY SLOW! don't bother going there if you're in a hurry. The long line was all the way around the corner & there were 2 employees behind the counter but only one register open, ridiculous!!

Saturday morning (February 18, 2023), the line was backed up around the corner and down the chip aisle. The one guy on the register was new. The manager refused to come help him out or open a register. It is poorly managed and the manager needs to join the unemployment line. Every time that manager is there, the service sucks. There's no need for a 30 minute checkout line EVER.

I give this Family Dollar one star because it has poor customer service and lazy staff that closes anywhere from a half an hour to an hour early you really need better employees they really shouldn't be closing the store half an hour to an hour early and turning customers away while they stand in front of the doors smoking cigarettes and hanging out with friends or their children I don't know who the people was those hanging out with do better family Dollar I won't be back to this particular location

I wish it was 0 star. I was Thoroughly upset when I visit the store on 1/28/2023 at 2207 Broadway I purchase 2 hinged foam trays. The price was 4.10 each thats was fine when o got to the counter he charge me 5.10 for each i told the employee that was the wrong price he was being train by another employee he told the guy to ring up 5.10 when l tried to response he totally Ignored me. This store is known for this. So sad

Will not honor prices they have on signs, plays music with cussing loud while having kids in the store, cussing at customers, actually family dollar price stickers on shelf do not always match prices on receipt the register is always ringing certain things up more than everyday prices then have to fight to get the actual family dollar sticker price they say it's adding tax automatically but I didn't think they charged tax on milk check your receipt people and they don't honor the prices on there signs they will snatch them down and say it's expired. I had an all out argument because the lady did that then said sorry after I said it's false advertising and she said I needed to read the small print like come on take the signs down then once it's done not wait a week or so later and don't cuss your customers and tell them to go shop at Walmart and ask why I am always going in there it's closer to me than Walmart I should be able to shop wherever I want. I oy went off after I was called a bi -@h because I wanted them to honor the prices on the sale signs bad bad service. Never have medicine they say there is a shortage but all other stores have the same stuff. If I could give zero stars I definitely would. I used to love this store more so than the other one but the other one is always respectful to their customers.

This store is horrible because of the workers they have there. There is a woman who has 2 piercings in her nose, very foul-mouthed and bad-tempered, who treats you very badly and very rude, and also a man, they 2 expressed themselves badly about the customers with offensive words! Really horrible, I will not return to this store.

Customer service Horrible. Manager stated to me it’s not Family Dollar fault I picked up wrong item. Clearly the merchandise was not used. Also complained to me how her inventory is short or high. I didn’t think that was any of my business nor did it have anything to do with me that’s not my fault. Very argumentative. I thought managers defuse the situation not escalate it. Gave reasons after reasons how her boss don’t want her returning items. Way to go boss. This is just great for business.

Awesome employees/customer relations quality. Easy to notice from the street in normal traffic. Wheelchair accessible parking lot structure, entrances and restrooms. Cash, credit and debit cards accepted here. No temperature check is required to enter. Mask requirements. No wait to enter. Vast array of merchandise. Not crowded. Surfaces disinfected between cashiers.

As compared to other Family Dollar stores this one is a bit small. The people who work here are kind and quite helpful. They know all of the regular customers and treat everyone like family. Thanks guys!!! Keep up the good work.

Here on vacation, and I needed some tylenol. This is the nastiest Family Dollar I've ever been in. Literally couldn't get down isles due to overstock. Where is the manager?? This place needs to be cleaned!

Don’t shop here. Staff is incompetent and mishandles your items. During a pricing dispute where the cashier could not correct a mis scan, they unbagged and then scanned all the products again before crushing all the bags of chips as retribution. We will drive to the nearest Walmart or Kroger’s from now on. I would give them zero stars is I had that option.

I got there today and I completely forgot my mask and walked in without it accidentally. The manager Michelle stopped me and very rudely said Miss you need a mask. It wasn't what she said. It was how she said it rudely to me then says I know you saw the sign before you came in on the door. Actually I didn't. As if I chose to come without a mask. I haven't had a lot of sleep lately so I tend to forget things. So I rode back home on bike grabbed my mask and came back. Quite honestly I should have gone to a different store because she obviously didn't deserve my business with her rudeness. I've worked in retail for over 25 years. I know this is not how you treat your customers mask or no mask.

Cherokee was a great help she went out her way to help me get what i needed along with the help of the other employees in the store today. wow! she was on it. thanks again cherokee you really know your stuff! Plus the store was in great organization no mess no issue with crowding just perfect!

Bought this Red Baron pizza here. Don't it look like a disease. It wasn't even worth taking back. I tried calling them but they wouldn't pick up the phone. You guys going to get someone sick. With this unnecessary BS. Is nobody rotating your stock 🤦

This establishment is not customer friendly. Typically understaffed and constant employee turn over rate. The parking lot is cluttered in debris and also has a massive pothole deep and long enough to rip off your rear bumper.I would highly recommend going further up broadway and using the bigger Family Dollar.

Items may cost less, but you WILL pay for that because the wait in line is RIDICULOUS!!! You are gonna STAND in line LONGER than it takes to shop! Freight ALWAYS ALL OVER THE PLACE and there can be 4 people working and STILL one line open. Bought ice cream and it was MELTED by the time I got to check out. Since the previous manager left it has only gotten WORSE!

was told i could not return headphones bcuz package was opened. package got torn when i opened it. clerk told me if package was not torn they could resell it. the corp policy for electronics doesn't agree with what clerk said.

The manager is unstable. He caused an altercation, verbally assaulted me and my gf then tried to physically assault us both inside and outside the building all because I brought a bag of donuts in the store from next door and told him I was on my way out with the bag. I ride a bike so i couldn't leave them outside. Corporate told me I'm allowed to bring in a bag if I chose. He used degrading, homophobic and sexist language towards us both. This could be your experience if you choose to go here. Ignorance at it's finest.

If I could give a zero I would! Just got yelled at by an employee for moving the merchandise dolly so I could pick up a rug. Don’t know her name but big chip on her shoulder, red hair and very rude. Don’t spend money there !

This is the sorriest family dollar in Galveston pulled up at 8:15 am just to get yelled at that their not open while the employees were outside smoking but sign on door says they open at 8 very rude they prices never match once you get to register just horrible please close this one down already

Very pleasant atmosphere and alot of help from the employees.......but, too many things in the way in the middle of the aisles......as I am on a Walker it was very difficult to manuver thru the store.🤔

This is a pretty sad excuse for a store. I only go here because it's the closest. Kind of dumpy, some cashiers are argumentative and half the time you can't get your smart coupon savings. Complaints do no good. Grin and bear it.
