I had the absolute BEST experience at Economy Liquor 23rd Street! I came in looking for something special for a good friend, and they found me TWO amazing options! The staff is friendly, courteous and showed that they CARE about their customers, even a total stranger like me. I can't wait to shop there again, and I'll strongly recommend them to anyone!

Thank goodness my friend discovered Economy Liquor; so, no more driving to Spec’s. They have a large inventory and have yet to not find what I was looking for……and discovered a new favorite egg nog, Benchmark, during a sampling from a Benchmark representative. But by far the best thing about the store, is the staff. They are readily accessible, very knowledgeable and helpful! Cheers

Everytime I come here I’m greeted with the best staff! My husband brings our dogs in and they always have treats too. This store is a positive staple to my family and I appreciate it them so much! Also, prices are the best and always in stock. This place is a gem.

We used Economy Liquor for our wedding, and honestly they ended up being one of the best vendors we worked with. They were life savers. They worked with us to figure out which alcohol we needed, also they delivered more during the event if we were running low. Plus they picked up what we didn't use for a small restocking percentage. We are so happy with their service we recommend them to everyone! A family owned business with better service than any big chain store.

Great store with lots of quality wines and liquors. Don't be deceived by the exterior. It's one of those Galveston gems that shines brightest on the inside, and what they have is very fairly priced. This is THE place for wines on the east end, and I would actually drive pretty far out of the way to go here instead of deal with the hassle of some of the other places. They also have a location on the West end that rocks. Go check it out if you love wine!... Or whiskey... Or beer.

Economy Liquor serves the local area in its neighborhood very well. The employees are very friendly and will carry out heavy items to the car if needed. They carry Guinness nitro coffee which is not found everywhere.

For a smaller store they have a nice selection of wines, decent amount of high quality booze. And, it's locally owned. My gin and Fever Tree tonic are stocked, so I'm happy. Also, not overly marked up on prices either.

This was a great liquor store before the new owners bought it. They treat their employees poorly and with no regard for their personal or mental well being. I have taken my business to Specs. Can't recommend Economy any more. Sad.

You know that while staying in Galveston, drinking out can get expensive. A liquor store can come in handy! We have found this family owned liquor store very near the Seawall Blvd. It is VERY well stocked. I'd be surprised if they didn't have what you're looking for. Terrific friendly service and fair prices. Definitely worth stopping by.

Associates are very helpful. I found exactly what I came in for, and other excellent wine recommendations were made. They get it! If you like sweet red, that's what they'll talk about. Not tell you everything about different wine that won't interest you.

I'd give them 5 stars but they close before 9pm, even on the weekends. Great folks, good selection, prices are just a tad above Spec's but it's worth it not to have to drive to 61st!

What a great assortment for a small liquor store! I was even able to get Buffalo Trace. Everything from low cost staples to high end in all categories.And their prices aren't much different than the big box liquor stores. I'll be back.

Wow, the rudest sales clerk ever! We got into town late and stopped here spur of the moment. We picked out a bottle of rum and as he rang it we decided to get a bigger bottle. The clerk got really angry. It was about 3 minutes till 9. So, I said that's fine we'll just take the smaller one you are ringing then.. he just kept muttering about how he should have locked the doors. So I said again, that the smaller bottle was fine and every thing is ok. He just kept saying rude things. I can't understand why he was so upset. But we won't be back.

Liquor n beverage store in Galveston. They have everything you could want. Liquor prices are fair, but DO NOT BUY BEER HERE. go half mile down the street to Krogers unless you like paying $20 a 12pk for bud light

This place is 50/50 I had my weeding this past weekend my parents got some kegs and they lied and or made a mistake about they price, then me and my goomsman bought one for our beach house and the Tap pump That you HAVE TO PAY FOR was broken so we had to go to specs to buy one the manger Dan did meet my parents half way as far as the extra charges he was unaware of so I do Commended them for that coustomer service, As far as the rest of the store the selection of bottles and wine is nice just make sure the understanding for renting prices are understood. And your equipment works.
