I just left this dollar tree location and I just want to to say Kim did a fantastic job moving the long checkout line. Everyone in line was impressed and loved her! She was the only one checking people out at the time and I can tell she is a great employee. I hope she is there every time I go.

Manager Michael is VERY RUDE TO THE EMPLOYEES!!!! He does not care about customer service belittled a cashier in a store full of people there was a line down the isles and I asked him to come open a register and he kept doing what he was doing then the cashier asked for backup he still finished then came to help with an attitude because he had to get on a register telling the cashier that he need to move faster and the line wouldn’t be so long no Micheal Frank was doing a great job as the only cashier with a store full of employees Micheal needs to be demoted and try again cause he is not management material do better Michael. Frank hang in there continue to give great customer service.

Excellent store. Always full shelves. Staff is friendly and always in the holiday spirir. Store is clean and well organized. Lines can appear to be long. However, staff moves the lines very quickly.

Like all other dollar trees, there is variety but not all stores carry the sane merchandise. Right now the nautical merch is at a higher level of quality than usual. Also their eco products (door mats) are of great value for their cost.

Everything was okay until I requested cash back during the checkout process. The manager became very irate, stated that I "should have asked her first" then stormed off to the back. There was no signage in the store stating what I did was "wrong" nor was there any notification on the machine that stated otherwise. This could have been handled in a more professional manner that didn't involve the manager creating a scene: waving arms, rolling eyes and breathing in frustration in front of customers - especially when I treated her with respect during the very short time I was in the store

They have a variety of everything You may need A-Z . I purchased items to make a get well bouquet for very inexpensive and it looks like you bought it from a florist.

Good selection as far as Dollar Trees go. I loved Dollar Tree until they raised the price 25%. That is significant, considering the quality of the products has not improved at all. Now instead of getting 100 items for 100$, I can only buy 80 items for my 100$. My wallet feels the pain! They took away 20 items on my Ben Franklin!

Very friendly, the manager is a hard worker, always keeping the store stocked. Sometimes i think they have too many items to choose from, that you can't see it all.

Store management could try a more professional approach toward their employees by not talking down to them. It's bad enough when they've done it to me but when they do it to their own employees in front of the customers that's when I have a problem. As a store to shop in I feel it's a great value and it would be better if they would have the shelves stocked where they should be. We're not having hurricane and not in any kind of emergency situations where the store shelves should not be stocked.

I went there to purchase some fall items for my office and I accidently lost my receipt and I went back to get another copy but the manager was being rude and I told her what the total price range my total was and she gave the wrong one and I told her if she can try 1 more and she said she didn't have all day to print out receipt and that I had to get out. 1. I wasn't being rude or anything. 2 The workers there don't seem to like their job or are very rude. If you don't like people then why work in customer service business. Also I would understand if it was really busy but it wasn't busy at all they had 3 registers open. Just very upsetting when I walked in from.

MIKE (who is a manager I am assuming) is one of the worst customers service representatives I have ever seen. A very kind employee asked him a question for me, as I was looking for a wooden frame I have bought many times here, and he refused to help. Was unbelievably rude. I’ll go to the other one that is a little further from now on.

The kindest workers you will meet. Everyone working today was so sweet and very accommodating. They all made sure that you were doing alright and took good measures to make sure everything is perfect. The store had a lot surprisingly and even ice and packs of water for people visiting Galveston (or for even residents, I guess. 😂)

The cashiers are nice and courteous, and they do their very best to be helpful to customers. The store is itself is junky and unorganized. Dollar Tree on the mainland is worth the trip. It is clean, organized, and has more name brand items.

Corporate needs to visit this store!! Shelves are poorly stocked, management is rude. Store room is stacked to the ceiling with boxes & the isles are never clear. I LOVE the Dollar Tree. I drive off the island to go to Texas City Dollar Tree. Staff is friendlier there & the shelves are always stocked!

Where should I start ? If I could give zero stars I would. This is by far the worse Dollar Tree Store I've EVER been to and trust me I've been to plenty even was a manager at one . I'm extremely disappointed. Whoever is on the freight team is definitely not doing their jobs . How are you going to generate revenue with empty shelves . I went in four times in one week and walked around this store and found that they barely have merchandise stocked all the time. The workers seems slow paced and unfriendly . You can tell corporate obviously doesn't visit this location. Galveston has many tourists and I'm sure they're looking forward to bringing gifts home. Try training the staff to stock the merchandise . Do better please !!!

Understaffed at check out. One cashier on Thanksgiving weekend. Long line. Need more lanes open. Staff was friendly which was good. Also shelves were bare. Probably aftermath of Black Friday....but they didnt have cashiers or people stocking shelves. That was not good.

Best place to go if you are limited on money everything is for a dollar everything May be non brand name but you get what you can afford at the moment and it's easy to access the cashier's are Great they will help you if you need it if something and it's not on the shelf just ask them if they have it in the back friendly as can be

A cashier named Heather I believe, made it a great shopping experience. She directed me to items that were impossible to find. After doing so I was rang up in record time. Best of all she wore her Covid mask the entire time and made sure there was social distancing between customers in line. THANK YOU HEATHER

I've shopped at Dollar Tree, in a variety of cities, for years. But, I have to say, the Galveston location is by far the filthiest, most poorly stocked and disorganized excuse for a store I've ever visited.I've shopped at this store 5 times since April, the 4th time last week and the 5th this week. The parking situation isn't great, but that's no fault of the store. But the store should be able to control the panhandler standing just to the right of the door. No one wants to be hit up for money walking in and out of the store.After the experiences last week and this week, I won't be back to this location. I've never seen so many empty pegs and shelves. And the product that remained was disheveled and disorganized. The endcaps made no sense and product was just heaped on.The really sad thing was that there were boxes stacked all over the store. And guess what? The same boxes that were in the aisles the other day, were there on my next visit.There were a number of people in line when I walked in today but, by the time I was ready to check out, the cashier was just leaning against a counter doing nothing. In my retail past, if you had time to lean you had time to clean.Whoever is running this store better start working some overnights to clean up this mess because it's a reflection of their poor management.
