pharmacist Portia Scott at this location was absolutely magnificent. I am a person that never writes reviews, but the level of her customer service that she had delivered is of the highest magnitude that for the general public is rare to encounter and easy to dismiss with a simple "thanks", but THIS undoubtedly deserves recognition, and that I fully support. originally I had went to the Walgreens seawall location, and I found that the pharmacy was CLOSED with ZERO indication on the website, or automated phone system, and I was met with paper instructions of inconvenience to travel to the other Walgreens location on 61st street. I comprehend that unexpected circumstances in life happen, and am hopeful that this pharmacist at seawall Walgreens is good, but there must be a better method to notify customers. my poor grandfather is experiencing the aftermath of a surgical procedure, and he had tried to contact the store for 2 hours, and he was unsuccessful to receive any response. The attention and genuine care that Ms. Portia Scott gave was emotional for me, considering the predicament of my grandfather, and she went above and beyond to provide the prescription that was needed. I give my utmost respect and sincere gratification for this pharmacist. I appreciate your wonderfulness Ms. Portia.

This is my local pharmacy. I find them to be prompt and courteous. I was particularly impressed with the pharmacist on duty at my last visit. Her consultation was conversational while giving me all of the necessary information.

On my last visit there was actually someone behind the counter to assist me with an item behind the counter, which was really nice for a change. He was also very efficient and friendly making for a pleasant experience.

We were visiting from out of state, and had trouble filing an urgent antibiotic prescription for a serious, and dirty, foot injury. After another major pharmacy could not manage the the order, we arrived here. The technicians were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. This pharmacy's environment was MUCH more calm and reassuring than the chaos at another facility. Of the major pharmacy names on the island, choose this one. Also a huge shout out to Amanda's kind welcome and ear, and Portia's owning the problem and solving it for us. You ladies made my day.

The pharmacist at this location think she’s God I go to the doctor for a specific reason for him to make the decisions on my well-being not a pharmacist I suggest if you’ve had any problems file a complaint with a medical board that goes for any pharmacy they’re not God I don’t even have the full education.
