Forgot my charger on my recent trip to Galveston stopped in the CVS to pick one up. They have them behind locks so I had to have the cashier come over and unlock the item. The lady that helped me was so nice and patient. She let me look at the item and verify it was the one I needed. Great customer service.

I needed a few travel toiletries so why not stop at CVS. It was close to our hotel and along our route.What's working: the store is really clean; someone greets you at the door; attentiveness when needing assistance (hubs purchased headphones and was quickly assisted)What could be better: finding an assistant with ease (I needed a razor and just about everything was locked up... didn't feel like hunting); awareness of customers (not moving business conversations to areas that don't impact the customer)The husband was impressed with how fast he was able to get in and out so overall a good experience.

I am very disappointed in the customer service at CVS. It seems over the past few years it has become more and more unprofessional. I drove here (30 minute round trip) to pick up medication for my husband. Upon reaching the pharmacy, I was confronted with a very rude technician and pharmacist that told me they were closed for lunch. It was exactly 1:31 PM and I was the only person in line. They said "We will return at 2:00 PM". I had been in the store shopping for greeting cards and would have made my purchase earlier had I realized they closed for lunch. It would have been nice if an announcement could have been made or something (or maybe they could take an extra minute or two to check me out). CVS needs to come up with a solution for this problem.

The cashier store associate here is awesome she knows I'm disabled and when I go inside to purchase my inhaler she opens it for me and shakes it for me because she and I both have respiratory issues! She's amazing I wish I could remember her name

If I could give negative stars I would! I don’t understand how y’all are still in business at this point, all your employees are act borderline slow af when you ask for any type of assistance. I’m convinced you have to be over the age of 70 and have the worst costumer service ever to work here. I had to go though hell and back just to pick up my moneygram (I’m currently still in the store trying to get this resolved as I’m typing this) UPDATE YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEMS, and hire employees that don’t act like your inconveniencing them when you ask them do do their mf job!

Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever. Closed every day at 1:30 for lunch no matter if you’re in line or not. Rude people and a pharmacist are extremely lacking. Transferred to Kroger. Never again!!!

Aside from the Pharmacist, everyone here is friendly.. but I'm definitely done using this pharmacy. Literally spent hours on hold without ever speaking to anyone on the phone. I know they are probably busy.. but I think they just turn off the the ringer and say screw it.I've had to leave work twice this week to physically go in and take care of my prescriptions. And the pharmacist...wow.. horrible customer service. Rude, treats you like you're an inconvenience.

-10 This place doesn't deserve any stars. This is the worst Pharmacy in the entire universe. They don't care about your time. They are slow 🐌 ancient times slow. Don't need your meds and have another script to get oh baby . You have to wait for days in two lines . This CVS needs to hire more workers. Im going to report this Pharmacy until they get them help .

We had scheduled our Covid Testing online as required. We received confirmation codes for both of us( 2 Seniors). When we pulled up to the Drive thru the Pharmcy Tech states he had only 1 scheduled. When my Husband showed him his Confirmation Code the Tech rudely stated it didn't matter and he refused to look up the Code. He did not explain the test procedure and yelled at me. We each had 2 Vaccines +2Boosters at our local CVS in Vit and we're never treated so rudely

Got my COVID Pfizer booster here yesterday. Made an appointment online and was taken care of immediately. The pharmacist, Shadrak, was great. He was friendly, efficient, and I didn't even realize he'd already jabbed me! Will definitely get all my shots here in the future.

It's unfortunate that this place is one of the only free testing locations on the island. If you can, make this place a last resort, and if you end up coming here, be ready for slow results and no empathy from the upper management.I took a test for covid19 on Wednesday. The representative conducting the tests was super nice and very thorough! She was great! So I felt good about the rest of the process... 2-4 days then I get my results, cool... today marks 5 days since the exam - nothing and the suspense/anxiety is awful. Like what if the virus hits me hard when I could have started working on it ahead of time? By the time I found out that I was exposed, I've already visited other friends before yet I haven't said anything because I don't know anything. and still don't know if I have it. Every day gets more never racking.. So I called the cvs. The first person to answer the phone was nice and willing to help, oddly enough I kept hearing what i assume to be her superior answering her questions in the back ground. I get put on hold assured I'd get help. Next thing I know, an older man picks up the phone. I explain my situation and immediately get told that the data hasn't probably came in yet without checking... well duh... that's why i was calling so they can check on their end. It was as if the older gentlemen didn't care or like I was annoying him with my problems. He was very short and did not show any signs of empathy in the way he talked. Turned out the results still haven't came - then again it sounded like he just paused after I gave my name and then said "we don't have it" as a default answer to humor me.Again, the longer I don't know the more stressful it gets. I was told 2-4 days. it's been 5 so I wanted to call. I'm not furious just scared. And all they could have done or at the least all the leadership could have done was show some more care and compassion for the people they serve. If you get annoyed by every concern you get, don't be in a profession helping people especially with their health. This is serious.

If I could give 0 I would. I am so glad I don't have to deal with these people anymore. My wife goes there tonight after going to the emergency Room to pick up prescriptions that have been faxed by the emergency Room. They claimed they did not receive them. As usual that's what they do.. Same with sending request for refills the doctors don't rerceive them both hers and mine.. Tonight the doctors confirmed they had comfirmation pages for both faksa's. My wife needed her anti allergic medicine. I will be picking them up tomorrow but after I transfer them to kroger I suggest kroger there cheaper and better

So we stood there at the front desk for 10 minutes before someone came up. We informed them we had made an appointment (yesterday) to get our covid shots today. They told us were out.. "well why did we make an appointment?" Well, apparently they allow walk ins. "What are we supposed to do about the shot then?".. "oh you can get them somewhere else".. the doctor had zero sympathy or even act like there was something wrong for not holding a shot for those people who MADE APPOINTMENTS... I would give a zero star if that was an option

Absolute worst pharmacy experience. They told me 3 times that they ordered my prescription but every time that I arrived to pick it up on the day that they said that it would be ready, they said that it was not ordered and assured me that they would order it. Finally, a competent individual told me that they probably weren't ordering it because I had just moved here and had no history with the pharmacy. He called several CVS's and said that nobody would order it or fill it because they had no customer history with me. Besides this helpful individual, everyone else I encountered was completely incompetent. It's a good thing that this CVS is located on an island or they would get no business at all.

I've dreaded this review for a long time.The front desk cashier provides the most unwelcoming feeling I have EVER felt in a store. Shes an older Caucasian lady. My most recent interaction was with her when she was working the register on December 29th between 10 and 11 am. She literally huffs and puffs while checking you out. She makes sure to do it when none of the other employees are around to witness her behavior. It makes me feel as if I'm really inconvenienceing her. Another issue that needs to be brought to her attention is that she consistently coughs without covering her mouth. It's right in your face as your checking out. She use to work at the other CVS in Galveston on Broadway. This has gone on for as long as I can remember. I've been a regular here for years and visit the store a couple of times a week. I have to give the store manager 5 stars. He gives outstanding customer service. Hes awesome. I will be requesting a call back from the area or district manager to make them aware of the situation. Galveston is a tourist town, this CVS is located on one of the main streets entering and exiting the Island. I'd hate for our tourist to deal with her attitude.

This morning I went in for a cervical disk replacement and my prescription was called in to CVS at approximately 1pm by the surgeon. Come 5:45pm still no word from CVS, so my partner drives up to see if the prescription is ready only to be told they don't have the pain medication I will need (hydrocodone) and I will have to find another pharmacy to fulfill my order. You would think CVS would of called with either myself or the doctor with a heads up instead of of leaving me stranded at 6pm with no pain meds. Luckily Wal-Mart stepped up and helped fill the prescription after getting the hospital and doctors on the phone.Every month I get my BP and other meds filled with CVS and am a loyal customer but after this, I promise, I will have all my prescriptions forwarded to Wal-Mart.CVS just lost a loyal customer.

Horrible service. We are out of town and needed to talk to the pharmacist about a prescription that was supposed to be filled. I was on hold for almost three hours over a two day period. Never did get to talk to anyone. I am transferring my prescriptions to another company

Snarky manager of the pharmacy refused to listen and instead chose to berate me. Wouldn’t take my payment for my college student daughter. Referred us to their app, which would not accept any of my credit cards. By the time we figured out how to pay them, it was too late for her to get her much needed meds. HORRIBLE SERVICE and they had no desire to help us. Find another place to go if you can.

Called for covid test the guy pretend to put me on hold to waste time and make his job easier. I assume if he really put me and other customers on hold the system would flag it im trying to get a covid test and I'm sure the harder you make it for people it becomes less likely they will take the test or vaccine something tells me this isn't the first time he's done this and he's probably not the only one using this trick I could not make an appointment. Also he did not did not transfer me to the correct department because I asked to speak with his supervisor. Do not use cvs they do not respect their customers go to wallgreens

My doctor called in meds for my very sick fiancé 15 minutes before closing and told them I would be there soon and to please fill it now. I got there at 5 minutes before closing and he refused to fill it. I asked him to transfer it to any pharmacy on the island that was still open. He told me there were none. The WAS a pharmacy down the street open until 7p. This kind of poor customer service is ridiculous. May I suggest that he pursue another profession that does not involve sick people.

We wouldn’t have posted this but this is the 3rd time this has happened recently! Drive - thru advice. Instead of waiting in line 20 - 30+ mins and when it's finally your turn not even be acknowledged...so save yourself stress and anxiety and just go inside the store and pick up your prescriptions.Emily is not doing her job & Davin her supervisor is not much of a supervisor in the drive-thru obviously just doesn’t seem to care about their job or cvs customers!

The pharmacist was rude and unhelpful. I was under the weather and had a simple question. I will say a somewhat difficult customer proceeded me, but if he was so agitated as to be unable to provide basic customer service, he should have excused himself until he could return collected to his position. There were other people there that could have helped so his response was truly unneccesary and mean.

one of the older short hair manager named cynthia, is always complaining and making racial comments behind customers back. she think she is a very slick person but doesn’t realize that there are so many customers looking at her act so inappropriately. there has been plenty reviews on her already. every time i go to the store i see her smoking outside the store doors while the younger cashier has a huge line of customers waiting. she gives out a vibe that she doesn’t want to be there and takes it out on the people that give her that job. the worst part is that i see all these comments on her but the store manager seems to not care and not do anything about it. all i hear every time i walk in to that store is Drama between managers and nothing gets done. hopefully this review is an eye opener for this store.

The checkout lady was extremely rude! The coupons are always complicated and instead of helping me she was huffing and puffing and super rude! The restrooms were not working so I had to go use the restroom at subway and had to buy cookies because my conscience doesn't let me use a restroom without buying something.

Absolutely INCORRECT hours of business on this website!!!!!!!!!!We enjoyed the years of doing business with you, but that has all ended as of TODAY!My wife needed her medication, kids had to be somewhere, read your hours and stupidly believed that we had enough time to do everything necessary in our lives .We got to your location around 7 pm., but you close at 6 p.m.. Seriously?? What the heck is wrong with this picture, a freaking pharmacy closing at 6 pm on a Saturday night?!!
