Beware at Walmart in Gainesville, TXI went to the Walmart on Lawerence Street in Gainesville Texas on ______.While I was at Walmart shopping, I noticed a man who kept moving closer to me - down the aisle. Something just didn’t feel right. He moved closer and closer till he was about 10 feet or less away. I felt uncomfortable, so I began moving down the aisle in the opposite direction. I had my small poodle dog Mollye in my shopping cart with me. I noticed that my dog also felt threatened and I could hear her slightly starting to growl. (It was odd because she never acts like this and overall she is very sweet).Then, the man came up behind me and grabbed my rear with both hands, and squeezed my rear hard. It completely startled me - and my dog. My dog got upset and I was worried that she was going to jump out of the cart. When I turned back around, the strange man was gone. I never would have expected this to happen at a Walmart Store while shopping for groceries.I immediately went to the front desk and asked to speak to management. I was upset and couldn’t stop crying. I asked the person at the management desk if they would please pull the security video - that it had just happened. This way, they could see the customer who had done this to me and could make sure he didn’t do this (or something worse) to another customer. The person at the management desk told me to wait and they would send someone (a manager) over to talk with me and to also help me check out plus they would escort me out to my car. I waited 20 minutes but no one ever came to help me. I couldn’t believe it. I’d called my husband after the incident happened and he arrived at Walmart. We waited together for another 15 minutes for management to come. No one ever came, like they said they would. I don’t know if they even pulled the video to see what the man did - so they could determine who he was and keep the other customers at Walmart safe. After waiting a total of 35 minutes, my husband ended up escorting me out to my car in the parking lot and placing my groceries in my car. I drove home with my dog.This man was a security risk - but no one at Walmart was taking this seriously, so my husband stayed looking for the man (that I described) in the store and also in the parking lot. After looking for a while, he started to leave, and that's when he saw two police cars arriving with sirens - pulling up in front of the Walmart.I just hope this man didn’t hurt someone else. I tried to warn them but no one took me seriously. Women, please be careful if you are shopping at the Walmart in Gainesville - inside the store and in the parking lot.

One of the most amazing people I've ever been to. Even though I only see them every twice a year it's been amazing seeing people smiling. They worked hard on inventory and happy birthday to this lady 😉. You guys are very friendly and the store is clean

No one will help you. I wanted a pack of soda but it was pushed to the back of the shelf out of reach I walked to the front of the store requesting help. I was told to ask the greeter because the associate watching self check out said they didn’t have a radio.So u asked the greeter and she called for assistance to the aisle.I walked back to the aisle and no one ever showed up to help me. I had to get a broom from another aisle to get what I wanted from the back of the shelf.Why wouldn’t anyone help me? And why isn’t any store associates tending to the shelves and pulling the product to the front so customers can reach them? Unacceptable.

My review is more about one of your employees. I recently moved to Thackerville Ok, with my brother after my Mom passed away. I was in your store on Wednesday 2/7/24. I was looking for vitamins, and a very nice lady asked if I needed any assistance. Long story short, she spent about 20 minutes helping me find exactly what I was looking for and she was very knowledgeable! She was kind, courteous, and extremely helpful!! Her name is: Kathy, and as a former buisness owner, I can say that Kathy is an asset for Walmart!

3 Year Update: I guess self-checkout is here to stay and everyone is getting more and more accustomed to it. So I guess I will update my review to 3-stars to be fair to this business. I still believe customers should not be effectively forced to do their own checkout (since there are not enough lines open with human registers, it is effectively forcing everyone to do self-checkout).***1 Year Update (1 star): I have to change my review to 1 star after the immense change in checkout system. Now, Walmart makes customers do their own checkout which is extremely inefficient. We don't get a discount for our work or price reductions as a part of the corporate savings from cutting employee costs down. This is doubly terrible for the customer. More registers need to be opened as soon as possible or the company will definitely face more customer frustration.***Original, 5-star version: Very clean, very organized and pretty efficient Walmart. Should keep up the great work as it acts like a store hub in a small town. The touch of putting a Cafe in it is great! The Internet speeds could be improved a bit more to accommodate more shoppers.

horrible service at this Walmart the mgmt is horrible the staff are rude and they never have anybody around to help with Donations but long as your white they will help or do what they can for you every year my organization has problems with this city Walmart the first year I got donations made on time and way more than I've ask for this year the new mgmt Quincy had me drive a hour away after telling me he will have a card at the front desk waiting for me since the last person who was over donations didn't put my letter up or respond to anything so that's what he told me he was going to do and when I arrive to get the card some other mgmt come to me very rude and tells me he ain't have a card for no organization and that he will call Quincy and see then comes back after 20 mins to say Quincy said he don't know what I was talking about and that he haven't spoken to anybody on the phone and that they don't have funds for people who just walk in on for real organizations the crazy thing is I didn't have a problem before but now since they see its a black man coming in to see about a donation its no they don't do it like im false doing things this Walmart is racist the mgmt of the store horrible to everybody there is rude

Avoid this place both working and shopping. Hostile work environment, they stole my last paycheck and I will be contacting better business bureau and the labor department Monday morning. Hope this store closes down along with others in the blue cities and suburbs

Nice stock and friendly cashier. Pharmacy staff is excellentParking is nuts and no electric scooter carts. If you are handicapped, there is no available parking or ways to get around the store mid day. Parking lot is NOT safe to maneuver through with a walker, between not being in good condition and drivers not paying attention. Definitely needs more handicapped parking spaces.

This is what happen when I went to go return items with a receipt. After them showing me this on their computer and telling me they couldn't return it they manually typed in the bar codes and behold the return was possible again after 15 mins. Beware of returns they may pull this on you.

This walmart doesn't have some of the things other walmarts do. Its kinda frustrating. The website just says out of stock, but there's no actual place for the Items on the shelf in the isle where they should be. I've been going here for a year, and they haven't had them ever. Drove north to the other walmart just to get what i was looking for. I bought all 18 they had. (Cans of chili)Most workers are friendly and have lots of real cashier. I keep coming back just because of that.

I shop here pretty regularly since it is my closest Walmart. The staff are generally not taught how to do their job properly. I have bought clothing items that were priced incorrectly on the tag to the check out area. When I asked for them to change it, they deleted the entire cart instead of changing it (this happened a few weeks ago). I was just in here today to purchase accessories in the tech area. I asked to price match since it does apply to the Walmart and not 3rd parties. They were rude about it. I would prefer more of my experiences to be happy here, but c'est la vie.

5 stars for the associate Brian! The associate Brian was so helpful and his bubbly personality brightened my day and made my shopping experience so much better! His vibrant bright hair really expressed his personality 100%. He was very knowledgeable and the most helpful associate I have ever had help me in this store. He deserves a raise and more, I can’t express what a lovely gentleman he was, 10 stars.

This review is for the auto department and Manager on duty over all departments, they stripped my drain plug during an oil change, caused a severe oil leak. All I wanted was my money refunded for repairs, but the manager “Letty” had some sort of complex, and was rude and acted as if I somehow was wrong. I recommend going to someone more experienced in their position if you have any issues. This lady ain’t it, I wouldn’t even employ her as a cashier at a restaurant let alone a department store. Auto department employees were super friendly, but only had so much authority.

It’s sad that’s your employee’s think that everthing runs to themselves. You had my ex ( that I haven’t spoken or done anything to in over 2 months try to say that he wasn’t comfortable with me and my current new boyfriend) and had another employee try to kick us outta the store without the actual manager until I made a scene about it. It’s sad who your employee’s are.if he has so much trouble with it then he either needs to leave or grow up

These 5 stars are for Gary from the home & Garden Dept. I locked my keys, purse & phone in my car. He let me use his phone multiple times while waiting on roadside assistance to arrive. He offered me a bottle of water & a chair if I needed. Thank you for your kindness Gary. I appreciate you keeping me company & helping me out in this crazy heat. There should be more cashiers because the checkout line is always packed. And more than once has the machine only taken card but, I have cash, or the machine only takes cash, and I only have a card. Plus, one of the employees demanded me to put a 5 start, no ma'am. Why should I if I have to check myself out and bag my own stuff.

I share the thought of of disliking our Walmart in Ardmore, Okla. This is what so many others share is not liking to go to the Walmart in our town. Would rather go to another Walmart in another town to shop. I use to like our Walmart when Mr. Vance Porter was over it. That is when it was the best. So sorry to share a negative one. A lot of good people work there and some not so good also work there. I run into no one around to get the items on top self or restocking during day is a big problem here.

I refuse to enter this or any other Walmart again. The company seems to be lowering its standards and ethics. This Walmart was all locked down.. they must deal with a lot of theft. The employees other than the nice gentleman at the door were unfriendly and angry looking. They look as if they hated their jobs. Gave off bad vibes. I would drive 30 to an hour to another town and walk mart just to avoid this one. Gainesville you need to do better.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had, went today to get my son a bike for his birthday. They had one bike that he was looking for so I grabbed it and it was missing a back tire peg no big deal or so I thought? Get to the register and told the cashier and she said I can give you a discount? I said ok no big deal and she went and grabbed another lady apparently she’s head of the “gardening department” this was around noon. So she proceeded to tell me they can’t sell me the bike due to safety?!?!? I said I’ll take it as is and get another peg for it? No big deal?? She didn’t even try and proceeds to take the bike from me!? I said it’s my son’s birthday I need this bike because there’s no other place unless I go out of my way 40 minute away or so!!! Completely incompetent employee and ruined my kid birthday. I’m a single dad and don’t have the financial means to drive a 2 hour trip and still afford the bike he wants!!! So thanks for your terrible customer service and ruining my sons birthday!! I will be talking to corporate about this!!!
