we had so much fun at the kids workshop ! they ran out of xmas crafts so we did a left over airplane one ! i have a 4yo, autistic, non verbal son, and they were so patient, kind, and helpful ! we will definitely be going back next month ! i would give more stars if i could

It's pretty hard to mess up a shopping experience at Home Depot...but this store figured it out. Make sure you use the toilet before you shop here, the management has given up on keeping the restrooms clean, every stall has a homer bucket to deposit used toilet paper in. Not only is this unsanitary, it is just plain lazy. Very weak leadership here...

I’m a 60 year old man. I’m in pretty good shape for my age but I need help loading Sheetrock and 3/4” plywood onto the cart. This store hires kids (mostly lazy) that avoid helping customers loading products. Instead they are walking around with feather dusters and chatting with each other. The manager was notified of this issue and just made excuses. I challenge corporate to walk in around 6 pm and see how much help is offered.

Do not order online from this store! We placed a large order and an item was delivered used and damaged. The large cabinet did not have a usual cabinet cardboard cover, the toe kick was broken and there was visible water damage. I was told I wouldn’t receive a refund, until the cabinet was picked up. I was okay with this and scheduled a pick up for the next day. This was almost a MONTH ago! I had to order a new cabinet by itself which cost me even more money to have a new one delivered again. I have spoken with the Supervisor and Customer Service at least 6 times at the Gainesville store. I have had them schedule FOUR different pick up times for NO ONE to show up. I’m paying credit card interest on a used, damaged cabinet that they won’t pick up. So, I have not received a refund. It’s been so frustrating. Never again. Since I reported this to the Better Business Bureau, I’m hoping to get this resolved.

Horrible place…….cause of a mistake that one of their cashiers caused I’m now negative over a grand. When I tried to return the items they refused to take them and said they needed to be picked up from my house But on a later date. I don’t understand why they couldn’t take them out of the back of my truck when I was at the store.

I stopped at the Gainesville Home Depot yesterday to buy some things in the Garden department. Bridgette and Wayne assisted me with my purchase. They helped me get everything to my truck and helped me load it! They were both friendly and didn’t mind doing actual work. This is the way customer service should be!

This Home Depot will rip you off! I bought some shelving today that was mark $169, they made me pay $199 for each of three that I bought. I showed them the sticker with the matching barcode with the items I bought and they still made me pay over marked price. This is absolutely wrong and $90 was stolen from me today, if I could give them less than one star I would. What’s worse is they called “MOD” and still couldn’t make it right. The customer is now always wrong and management is either bull or tough on the phone. See pictures for proof. Shop across the street at Atwoods, they will do you better.

Horrible customer service, they don't train ther employees except probably how to operate the cash register and ther walkie talkies. Took 15 mins to get someone with a security key, then the cashier doesn't know how to operate the key. Wth, why have someone guard the key if they don't know how to use it?!? Also, you don't know how the key making machine works and there's no one nearby. Ridiculous.

Avoid this Home Depot if possible. I live 25 miles from this location. Unfortunately it’s closest home box store. There is ALWAYS a prob. Just drove 25 miles and they are cash only today wasted trip again. Can never find anyone to help you when u have a question. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

The gentlemen in the paint department were kind and went above and beyond to help me. I was offered help by almost every employee that passed by me, or I them. Everyone was SO bright and cheerful! They have the best atmosphere of any home depot I have been too!

I wish I had another option in Gainesville. The web order process is a total joke. The past 2 times I ordered online and said it was ready for pickup they hadn’t pulled my order yet. The first time I waited over an hour. The most recent time when I realized they hadn’t pulled it, I told them I didn’t have time and would come back. Gave them 24 hours and after the manager assuring me he would take care of it, I arrived to an order still not pulled and proceeded to wait 30 minutes. The training and communication in this store is horrible. **Update: I have given up on the online ordering and I will say that the employees are generally pretty helpful at this location. Specifically the guy working in electrical that has helped me a few times with wire.

Out of the entire staff of employees working 7/10/22, ONE (Mike - thank you!) was willing to actually work. We literally watched as employees hid when the cashier called for loading help. Two other employees watched as an over 62 yo couple loaded a buggy with 52 12’ boards and not one offer of help.

Customer service was outstanding! The cashier Dawn spent additional time to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. She found the toolbox I wanted, validated that it was still in a box and orchestrated getting it loaded within minutes. She’s phenomenal and puts the customer first. A wonderful experience!

WOW! Very bad business practices. New employees are to be available anytime they want you to be and they will not work with you if you want to take another job. If you ask the manager to adjust your schedule so you can take another job he will fire you on the spot. This is the most cold and heartless person I have ever met. Update: Spoke to HR and was told that it was not a good idea to tell the manager I was seeking another job so I could have enough money coming in to support myself! She was very dismissive! UGH! I'm so glad I didn't go work for them. They have the worst customer service skills for employees.

I have bought many things here. Lumber, appliances and many, many plants. My latest purchases have been to get bags of Miracle Gro, seeds for my garden & grass seeds along with some plants to make my yard thrive. My roses love the Miracle Gro rose food I got for them.

Employees were both helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to find what I needed quickly without assistance but it was nice to have three different employees greet me with a smile and ask me if I needed any help!Salesman in the dishwasher department knew his stuff and was very helpful. I wasn't ready to buy but he certainly gave me a lot to consider!Overall, it was a very pleasant shopping experience!
