Scivally's Grocery, opened since the late '50s. Genuine people operating their family business, keep updated on weekly advertising and deals via their Facebook page.Best selection of Beef cuts in town, staple of the community and it's actual culture. Everyone knows everybody, and the homey small town atmosphere is quite warm and organic compared to big retail stores which feel cold and synthetic in their approach to the consumer.Supplied beef from Kansas cattle, and also local meat packing companies feature their products here.

I haven’t been mistreated the way this lady mistreated my dad and, I when went in this lady looked at us like we shouldn’t belong there and when we came to check out she stated almost yelling at my father I’m still with another customer slamming our things in the buggy which we didn’t knew she was with another customer because she went and got a soda from the fridge across the store, I told her she shouldn’t be rude to us she replied well I’m not being rude which ,I said do you have a manager she replied rudely and a laughing attitude we don’t have a manager here ,I said well what’s the owners name she said Matt I said thanks and what’s your name she said Kathy which and then she changed her behavior . If y’all are gonna give your business here please don’t go to her so she can miss treat your father or your mom please I’m glad I was with my elderly father at this time I won’t condone this kinda behavior she lacks from customer service and ,I always contribute with local businesses but, I think the bad apples on this businesses are corrupting what once was great .

Great store to shop. Friendly customer service. Great meat prices. Butchers are the greatest, alway greet you with a friendly how are you and what can I do for you today. Mr Thermal would have been proud of them. He was a great person.

This is an Affiliated food store so they have sure fine products that are sometimes difficult to find in this area. The meat counter offers a wide variety of beef chicken and pork products. There is a butcher on duty who can give you whatever cut of meat you ask for in most cases. They also carry products from the Hess meat market in Muenster Texas. This includes a wide variety of sausages and smoked cheeses. This store has been operating since the 1950s. It is well worth the time and effort to go visit because they carry several unique products that are hard to find in other grocery stores.

Matt has very poor customer service as he didn't wanna wait on a call to verify a check and kept saying i don't have time to wait. If u don't have time then u shouldn't be cashing checks for people if that is the customer service u offer. All cashier's was nice and friendly but that guy had no patience what so ever!!!

Great Store to visit, pick up almost anything you could find in a large chain market, less all the space. This is a small town market now incorporated into a growing area in Gainesville TX Friendly staff, quick checkout, no long lines like at Walmart, fresh produce, great meat selection, prices are good as well. You can pass this place by and not even know it but once you do find it and go inside and meet the people and talk to everyone do your shopping it's a real Pleasant environment I would recommend going there if you're not in a rush to buy a bunch of groceries and look through a clothing section because they don't have one. It's like the markets were 40 years ago customer service first friendly no rush and plenty of help if you have a question.

great store, cashed my check for me after hours today! 6pm they stop cashing checks and I got there at about 6:15 unaware that the check cashing office was closed and they were nice enough to still cash it. thank you Scivally's employee's.

Friendliest place to shop for groceries. They open the door for and Cary your groceries out to your car just like the good ol days. Plus this is definitely the best place in town to get your meats.
