High prices and VERY rude cashiers!!! Girl actually rolled her eyes because we went to her register and she had to get off her phone. I’ve read other reviews where people say that customer service is excellent. I shop at this market at least once a day. It’s near my house so it’s very convenient. 90 % of the time cashiers will not greet you or acknowledge a “thank you” from you at the end of transaction. I’m not an entitled person and do not expect a friendly conversation from everyone I meet. I do however expect a certain level of politeness. If you do not like your job in customer service. Please do everyone who’s having a good time in life a favor and do something else. Many who read this will think I’m probably the problem but I assure you I’m not. I still try every time I go in to have a positive interaction with the employees. There are however , two amazing employees that work there. If you shop here. Most will know at least one that I’m referring to. My advice. If they are leaned over the counter on their phones. Go to a different line.

Stopped by on my way to Denton to get a few snacks for later. Everyone was very friendly. They not long ago went digital on their sale ad. I'm very impressed. WAY TO GO... LOWE'S!!!UPDATE: I STOPPED HERE AGAIN ON MY WAY HOME FROM GAINESVILLE!I HAVE TO SAY.. I'M STILL IMPRESSED! THEY'VE DONE ALOT TO THE STORE AND ADDED A FEW OTHER ITEMS I HADN'T SEEN BEFORE. ALSO.. THEY DROPPED ALOT OF SALE ITEMS DOWN TO A VERY MORE AFFORDABLE PRICE! GREAT JOB!UPDATE: I haven't had the time to stop back in for awhile. But I will soon. Been looking for a place to live. Found one! Once I get settled in.. I'll go back in and check things out. I like to look for new items I haven't seen there before. That's a really cool place to shop..in my opinion!

When I went to go inside there was an odor.i have never seen carpet in a grocery store. The carpet is holding odors and not giving freshness. Me and my best friend were traveling through and stopped to get snacks.

This place has an A rated meat market. That is fantastic! However, there are gentlemen there who are absolutely not friendly. Customers seem like a nuisance to them. Their demeanor does hinder me from visiting the store more often. In this economy I don't want to give my money to a store that doesn't seem to appreciate it's customers.

I walked up to the deli counter. The clerk was washing equipment. I waited for her to see me. Once she turned, she looked at me waiting at the counter. And literally threw her arms in the air and whith a heavy sigh said "oh my God!" While rolling her eyes. If it's too much trouble to help me I'll just leave. I said. She asked for my order & the machine wouldn't work. She said out loud, how ridiculous it was and that she was tired of everything. I just said "never mind" and I bought pre-packaged turkey. I will NEVER go back to that store. Super expensive as well 📈

Great prices on the meat today, I was SHOCKED. My first time there and I'd go back for the meat alone. Prices were 1/3 to 1/2 of what the meat prices are at Walmart. Other stuff was high, but you could skip it or get it elsewhere. AND they still.have cashiers, no self checkout.

I like smaller grocery stores for the ability to get in and get out quick, with usually a minimum amount of fuss. This one didn't disappoint. It's well laid out and I was able to find what I needed quickly.One minor thing, I understand the need to get an employee moving to close the store, but it comes off as crass when yelling across the store aisles.

Lived in another town with a Lowe's market. Not impressed, Gainesville Lowe's has a variety of groceries usually find what I'm looking for. Produce is great, fresh meat, great service. In and out quickly. Great sales weekly. No self checkouts a plus.

Michael (kermit) was absolutely fantastic! get that man a promotion/raise this instant! Great service!!Also as were pulling out of the parking lot,, we just so happened to see Kermit running out of his way to help a man that hadn’t known his wallet fell out of his pocket. He’s an outstanding employee.

LOVE this market. They always have wonderful specials, especially with the meat, veggies and fruit. Store Manager, Dewayne, is exceptional. He knows his customers and is friendly to everyone that walks in the store. He's always hard at work, too!

They have a sale on brisket and they charged for full price. You had to spend at least 25 dollars to get the reduced price. I spent over 30 extra. I didn't realize until I got home. Be careful with sale items, they honor. Won't be going back.

Good prices. But some employees do not care. The store needs a full cleaning as is has dusty products and while you will save money, I do not think a compromise in cleanliness is worth it.

It’s a nice alternative to Walmart but the workers aren’t really very pleasant. I’ve been there quite a few times and there is only one worker there that is friendly and nice. The others are mostly just doing there jobs with there heads down and very stand-offish. In a small town small store you would expect a greeting as soon as you walk in the door. That’s the kind of thing that will make people come back. If the employees aren’t nice you might as well go to Walmart.....Also keep an eye on the expiration dates for the cold stuff. I’ve seen plenty of nearly expired (next day)and ALREADY expired items in the refrigerated sections.

I went in here the other day for the first time when Walmart and the other grocery stores were closed. I was extremely disappointed. The prices are outrageous. Such a rip off, I bought nothing and left. I feel bad for the people that didn’t have another option and had to get ripped off on the expensive products from this store. Will never be going back and warning everyone of the big rip off.

Even though they were super busy the staff were very quick and polite. Thought I would be there forever like when I go to Walmart but I'm so glad I was wrong. Thank you to all the workers at Lowes
