Bought several items, solder gun kit and baur, I rotory tool, both have had issues of shutting down while using, only a 90 day warranty as clerk told me, so I guess I’ll throw 60.00 worth of stuff in trash, note I only used tools 3x each, I am disabled and very hard to get back to store to return them, so I will never buy anything else from harbor freight if it has a moving part or if it uses electricity to run, I should have shopped elsewhere and bought quality tools, all harbor freight tools are comparable to a Vic lighter, just throw them in trash.

Rude and non-attentive staff. Busy talking with each other instead of waiting on customers. Most importantly, the clerk asked for my phone number when she started my order, I said I preferred to not give it out. She then told me if I didn't provide my phone number I would not be able to return anything and would not get a receipt. I told her I was pretty sure that was against the law and explained she wouldn't need to worry about it because it would be my last time inside the store. I have a right to protect my privacy, including my phone number!

The Gainesville HFT store has THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! They were out of stock on a particular grease gun and took my information, promising to get in touch with me as soon as the item came in. Well, it took a full 2 months for this to happen, but they didn't forget and texted me when they received the grease gun and held it for me to pickup at my convenience. Very welcoming store, and five stars for their fantastic customer service!

If you need a tool and you're a do it yourself person, and not a pro, Harbor Freight is the place to go. Their stuff is all Chinese imports, and not "pro" quality to use every day. Good for the occasional job.

Cleanest, most organized Harbor Freight I have ever been in. All items actually had price tags (shocking I know). Called ahead for an item site said limited quantity and they put eyes on it and held it for me as it was a bit of a drive. Thank you Max.

I called ahead to make sure that they had the Yukon tool box I wanted. After they told me they do and have hands on it I drove 40 miles each way plus hooking up a trailer and taking off of work to get it. When I get there they didn’t have it and no one wanted to man up and tell me. The cashier was nice and polite but when I asked the assistant manager if maybe he could discount the us general version allittle he was like we can’t and can’t help you. I call harbor freight direct and they tell me it’s not a item that will be sold in stores and I can order online. But there is almost a 100 dollar shipping charge. So now I’m out time of work, fuel, and still have nothing. Way to treat your customers!

I picked up items for a project I'm working on. I like Harbor Freight tools. I started shopping at their Gainesville store because a Home Depot is just around the corner so I can get my lumber from HD and tools from HF

Date : NOVEMBER 29, 2021I bought a $200+ power auger from this harbor freight in Gainesville Texas.I was able to dig 5 holes.When i went to start it on my 6th hole i noticed gas coming out of the exhaust port.Called harbor freight and explained the problem to them. I told them I wanted a refund and they said no problem make sure theres no gas in it and bring it in and we will give you a refund. I took the auger to them for my refund and they informed me there was a $40 restocking fee. I asked for the manager and she said it was store policy. I told her I dont see why restock a broke item. They claim they couldn't do anything about it.Long story short Im out $40 for a restocking fee on a broke item and I will never shop at a harbor freight again. They lost my business.
