Love DG stores generally because of the friendliness of staff. This is how this trip went, walked into the store with Brittany the cashier with her phone and not even paying attention to customers infront of her nor greeted me as I came in (which every other DG I've been to if someone's at the Register they greet). Nope not Brittany, ignored me and not providing proper customer service to those checking out. Brittany is despicable. Then I went to get laundry soap and some cleaning supplies, isles were crowded and disarray from product not being put away and stocked in a timely fashion. Poor sweet Leaha was trying to do everything all by herself. She was constantly working hard on trying to get product out. All the meanwhile passed Brittany at the Register a few times while shopping and she's still talking on the phone, ignoring the customers in front of her. Finally, time to checkout with my supplies that were on the shelf labeled buy 2 get one free. Well they didn't ring up this way because like someone else has mentioned, this store doesn't maintain their adds. The cleaning products were no longer the price they were shelved at. When I asked Brittany about it, she rudely responded, Well I can't just give you something for free. I told her I'm not asking for anything free, just that you honor the ad as you are legally supposed to. Brittany proceeds to tell me she can't do it because the products aren't ringing up that way. I told her, hang on let me fo get a picture of the ad and I'll come back. I got sweet Leaha and asked her about it, she kindly verified that is what the tag said and came to the Register to tell Brittany WHO IS STILL ON HER PHONE, to correct it. Neither one knew how to correct the problem, I tried explaining that my cheapest item was $3.50, 3 items simple math $1.00 off one of the 3 and $1.25 off the other 2. BRITTANY and her phone with an attitude went back and forth with sweet leaha on how they can't do it. YALL I was not given in because she was so RUDE. eventually still unable to figure it out Brittany just took the $3.50 item off my ticket all together. Then I went on my way. I would like to commend Leaha on her amazing customer service skills and think maybe DG reconsider phone attached Brittany.

To be honest this is the most unorganized dirtiest Stewart. I think I have ever been in even the floors have not been cleaned for it looks like months is weird

Moved to Gainesville a month ago and the store has been open MAYBE 2 times in the last month. As others notes it was messy and the staff very rude. They don't honor the prices on the shelf and they do not update the tags. Called corporate on them and basically told the area manager will be notified. Store still closed and assumed permanently. Love DG but hate this store.

Gainesville store has been remodeled recently and it's pig pen. An male associate being smart with me when I mention the item is on sale today, but he said it's not per last week's ad. Told me my recent ad on my phone is not for that store. Today is Sunday, there new ad starts on Sunday's. He scan it, and found out he was wrong. Never apologized for his mistake. Very rude person.. Employees at this store need to be trained and be more respectful to there customers.

I’ve been going to this store since it opened, the new management there was definitely noticed when she came on board. The Gainesville, Tx store is organized, clean and the staff there are friendly and helpful. Wanda is nice, listens and gets things done. Great store to get and out of quickly when you just need that one item or a basket full.

Items there are sorted and arranged as if it were a 4 year olds play room. The staff is always less than helpful. Checking out is slow and standing in line creates obstacles for other customers.

If I could give this place less than one star I would! I called up there to ask a simple question just to get hung up on and talked to very rudely then to get basically cussed out the second time I called back. Some guy didn’t catch his name but management needs to do something about that. Also this store is always cluttered , half the time the aisles are half way stocked and to think of it the rest of the people who work here arnt nice either. Don’t get a job in customer service if you don’t like people.

Because I bought clothes, I needed receipt. I had already loaded toddlers in car and my back pain was to the point that I couldn't stand walking back into store. I called from parking and the cashier brought me my receipt to the car.That was Very nice.

That is the dirtiest Dollar General I have EVER been into in my life. Totally disgusting. Stuff all out of place and boxes in every isle. Messes and spills everywhere. I couldn’t believe it was that bad.

Our store like many others is closing so right now you can find a lot of things on sale .. you have to really watch though because it seems like it says it's on sale but won't ring up on sale..but then you have another item not on sale but it rings up cheaper.. so just becareful when shopping at Dollar General. Plus it always looks so messy lately..😢

Went in to the store on Christmas Eve night last minute things to get. Very glad they was open no one else was. The cashier was up set saying the only thing Dollar general gave them for Christmas was a bottle of water that they had to use a coupon so they could get it for free. Way to go Dollar general what a way to treat your employees. It's sad they have so many stores and make so much money that all there employees are only worth a bottle of water. I'm sure other people need to know how this store works gonna let everyone I know about this company

Dollar General has great deals if you can put up with the chaos in the store. The store always looks trashed and you have to work your way around the stuff piled up on the floor. Whitesboro and Gordonville stores are the same way.

Most of the time, when I visit, there are stocking carts on the sales floor. This store lacks the aisle space for these and the average sized customer. Typically, there is one visible store associate and he or she appears to be overworked. If this Dollar General weren't so close and convenient, I would subject my self to the nearest supercenter instead.

It was trashy feeling inside. The aisles were cluttered with So much stuff that you could barely walk down them. The employees were a little on the ride side as well.

One of there employers made a terrible mistake by thinking I and my sister were somebody else. That was a shoplifter and called the police to come and arrest us. Then they found out that we wasn't even close to looking like that girl they wasn't even private about it. We won't shop there anymore

Whatever you do, don't try filling helium balloons here. They charged us almost $20 to fill our 6 small balloons, then they were incapable of filling them and refused us a refund. Went to Tom thumb and they filled all my balloons for $5.

Store unorganized and two ladys that work there were just taking about something..I ask for the key to the restroom OMG the restrooms were so filthy and it seem they had not clean them for days.....real bad experience.

Dark. Gloomy. Check out lane was way to backed up. A costumer had to go get a worker. Stock carts all over the place. Cant get up and down the aisles.

I love coming to this Dollar General it is always so clean and well kept, the ladies that work here are super nice and helpful.
