I hadn't been to this location in a year but decided to stop in to check it out again.. The staff and mgr. have really cleaned it up and it's well organiged for the most part.. The exterior is inviting and clean, compared to other DG's.

I've been bringing my grandchildren here, when they spend the night, for the past five years. Honestly, the staff was never very friendly. I tend to cut people a break because you never know what they are dealing with and I choose to return kindness no matter what. However, when I visited the store this week I noticed a huge change. First, the exterior stone had been power washed and I like curb appeal. Second, the store updated some isles and made the visit more homy for me. Third, Jackie and Cathy were so kind and helpful. I love Dollar General and am grateful that our little (but growing) city store has turned over a new leaf. Thanks ladies and keep up the good attitude.

Loge this location. I visited my mom house and passed by this store. Only one front lady with glasses work as cashier, but she is fast and professional. The store is a little messy, but they have everything i need. Highly recommended to everyone if you need a small groceries.

I walked in, was not greeted at all. The place was cluttered, maybe shipment day? I'm not sure, it was my first time there. I found a basket full of stuff in the back of the store. There was a sign that said "last chance." Nothing was labelled so I grabbed a few things and planned to have the cashier price check them for me. As I wondered the store, I did find a few things for a great deal, but soon discovered that not all of the products were priced correctly. When I got to the cash register and something scanned for a different price, I told the cashier I did not want the item. The cashier was nice about it, but told me she had to get a manager to remove the item. The manager, Kathy came over with a slight irritated look. She said something along the lines of "We almost went through a shift without having to do this... but there's always someone that has to ruin it".... I thought it was absolutely rude she made this comment right in front of me. I was very polite, I didnt even respond to that comment. I just wanted Dollar General to know, customer service is very important. I actually liked the products that were offered and would have returned in the future, but because of the that comment I will not return to that store.

Just moved to Houston 4 months ago, so this was my first time visiting this location. The young man/store cashier didn't even speak when I walked in the door yet he clearly saw me and was doing nothing in particular. I felt like he was following me around the store, but of course he had to appear discreet and pretended to be stocking. At the register while checking out I asked him if the store carried clothes hangers which was my real purpose for shopping. His response was, "I think so but I don't know where they are". Zero effort to look for the hangers or perhaps ask another associate. Didn't even say thank you for the purchase I did make. I will not be back and I wish I could give this review zero stars.

ever since the store manager, will, took a leave we dont know why the store is horrible. boxes everywhere and nothing on the shelves. this store was looking so nice and the service is horrible no one greets us or tries to help u can hardly push a buggy around to get anything u need.

Manager was very rude but all other employees great. Loved the amount of clearance. I told the manager some of the items were under the wrong markdown % per sign. She argued to the point of me having to physically show her.

Closed 40 minutes before scheduled and posted store closing. Customer service is subpar and not the best. Boxes continually crowd the aisles, making it difficult to shop and find things you need.

Sadly I am not going to give this store more than 2 stars. The clerk had to be located to check me out. My purchase was small so he didn't offer to bag the merchandise rather pushed it back across the counter at me. He handed me waded up bills and didn't say thank you. When I thanked him he replied ,"no problem." Wrong, big problem. Manners are free. Customer service is free. Not a good reflection of the company in my opinion.

You can find anything at this store, literally.But customer service is horrible, seems like they don’t want to be there or even work there, employees does not have any type of empathy or company core values.Not only that, they always close before 10 pm as they schedule says. Sometimes they close 20-30 minutes before closing time.Heads up before driving there at night.Corporate should take action about this.

Even a one star is high for this store. It is very small. Doesn’t have variety of options to pick from. And the worst thing is the staff working there. They are the most careless ones. We spend one hour in the store and picked the stuff after a hard search, but all of a sudden we noticed our shopping card disappeared. We realized that one of the staff returned the stuff on our shopping card without even asking us whether the card belonged to us or not! It was the first and last time that we went to this store.

Great old standby!!! We love this place for quick stops. They usually have the items we are looking for, and at a decent price. The city is catching up to us out here, but The Dollar Store has been good for the area.

Good general store. They sell name brands, craft supplies, gifts and greeting cards, more gluten free items, more staple food items! Low prices for milk, bread, cheese, yogurt, snacks.

OMG. This Dollar General is filthy and has a terrible selection. Or, it’s ok but so messy you wouldn’t know it. But mainly, it’s nasty. It’s a DG, I know. It’s not supposed to be fancy. But this one reeked of cigarette smoke. Someone has been smoking at the front counter or very close. Trash was piled in an aisle preventing passage. I won’t return. Oh, and the parking lot was pitted with potholes.

Our community recently experienced mass flooding leaving many residents with out running water, electricity, food and sanitation. My mother was purchasing cleaning products to help aid with the flood clean up and asked to use the restroom while she was there. The cashier told her that she can't use the restroom, it was company policy. The following day another flood victim was in the store buying supplies, when her young daughter stated she needed to go potty... the cashier said that the toilet was out of service and she couldn't use the restroom. This store does not support its community during devastating times and should not receive said community's hard earned money... If they can't support us, we shouldn't support them.

I've been on the manager there for the longest time she cares for her employees and I've never heard her raise her voice but when I come in sometime I see some of the customers cluster and it's not right my grandma used to tell me to treat people as you wish to be treated it's two sides to every story so if her boss ever come see it and reduce my evaluation on her she's a one you have a good employee and a great manager

The prices are not a match when you compare them to the weekly ads you get on your porch. They do take the digital coupons from their app plus the manufacturer ones as well so thats a perk. Over all, I like the store.

Very bad staff, they asked me what is my medical condition when I said I couldn't wear a mask due to my condition. It's a direct HIPAA privacy violation to ask a person's medical condition unless you're their healthcare provider.

This location has been going down hill for a while and the manager is horrible! The last straw for me is when a “Manager” was arguing with my wife about proof of purchase over a $12.00 exchange and made my wife go home to get the receipt she had forgotten because the way she was dressed. I will go out of my way before I go back to Dollar General in Fulshear.

Clean, friendly staff. Line moved pretty quickly, even though I was the one holding it up. Just make sure your coupons match your items prior to checking out. Oops. lol
