I recently had an exceptional experience at PetCo in Frisco, and I can't say enough positive things about it! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist me. The fish selection was outstanding, with a wide variety of species to choose from, all healthy and vibrant.But what truly impressed me was the level of assistance I received from the employees in the aquatics section. They went above and beyond to help me set up my live tank for aquaponics, patiently guiding me through the process and offering valuable advice every step of the way. Their expertise and enthusiasm made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my visit to PetCo in Frisco. The exceptional fish selection and the helpfulness of the employees, especially those in the aquatics section, have earned them a loyal customer in me. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for top-notch products and service for their aquatic needs.

Petco is my go to place for all of my Fur Baby’s needs.From Vet visit to Grooming to pet food to products Petco is my first choice.. they have varieties of products of any type at a great price.I should definitely tell about our fur baby’s Grooming experience.. He always comes home feeling Cuteness overloaded, Clean, Happy & Safe. The groomers are very efficient & knowledgeable about how to handle the fur babies and what needs to be done for the fur babies’ coat to be maintained healthy and clean. my Fur boy & I are Very Happy & Satisfied overall being a Petco customer :)

Crawford (I think was his name) was AWESOME!! He welcomed us (me and my pet) in to the store and asked what did we need help with. I told him it was my first time as a dog owner and I just got him from the shelter. He was willing to assist in finding all of my essentials! He walked around the whole store with us showing what he recommends from food, collars, toys, shampoo and treats! I was well pleased with the customer service!

Took our 4 month old Yorkiepoo there to have her groomed for the first time. They did an excellent job and took extra time with her since it was her first time. She was not scared at all. The staff was very friendly and professional.

They always have a good selection of wet foods for my little Grey. Although, they do price some of the flavors differently, even when they come from the same line as others. Staff is always super friendly. Great prices and selection. Wish they carried the treats that Grey likes. But I prefer to shop here for her food, unless I’m shopping online.

Seems like a good Petco. I gave it 3 stars because of how long it takes for a grooming session and the price. Takes 3-4 hrs. That is a very long time to wait for a short haired dog to get a bath. By the time you have to pick up your dog and pay half the day is over and you are out $60. That price is also for a small dog. Not really worth it

These guys are great! I’m a long time freshwater aquarium enthusiast and bought a couple fish last week from here. Well, they died. I went back to the store and brought a water sample. Found out bad nitrates. My other fish were fine but a shock for the newbies. They still gave me a full refund from my phone number. I couldn’t find the receipt. Gave advice on how to fix my tank. Will be a regular customer!

Kayla is an amazing groomer. She always leaves Charlie looking like a prince! He gets nervous and he feels comfortable with her. She put both of us at ease during his first grooming appointment. I just got a puppy and she did an amazing job with him too.

Purchase tank filter and Betta fish. I've never seen such well maintained Bettas and overall aquarium area in a retail pet store. Very clean! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Took my puppy there for a nail cut. Instead of $12, they charged for $30. They took the puppy in for less than two minutes and said that it's done. The girl at the counter looked at my face and asked for tip. I gave 15% and left. When I got home and checked, she only cut four nails and left the rest untouched. What a scam. Never go to this location.

Came to make a purchase, wasn't asked if I needed any help even though I passed 3 employees multiple times. Instead, I was asked to get out of the way cause they were too busy cleaning! I selected my items, the check out elderly lady starts to rant off about my items without asking me anything. I tell her I have to be somewhere and would like to proceed with my purchase. She then refuses my purchase on her own clouded judgements! My daughter's were soo upset! Petsmart is now where I shop thanks to this experience.. SMH

Beth L the dog trainer- very rude and arrogant. Would not recommend her services. Enrolled in a puppy class however she said that she does not follow the age limit and will allow 50 lbs non puppies into a puppy class if they need it. She said that the 50 lb dog was aggressive and needed puppy training. She recommended that I move my 6 lb puppy to another class.

I was in and out. Well stocked shelves. I grabbed toys for our dog as well as a few new treats. One thing worth noting: if you want a bag, you need to bring your own, or you will be charged 10 cents PER bag. Very disappointing when you consider that these big corporations are passing on THEIR cost of doing business onto customers that are already paying for their goods. It's bold step when customers can simply order from Chewy, and it is delivered to your doorstep for FREE. This location was clean and well staffed. They do offer saltwater fish and coral at this location. I was quite surprised they had a lionfish on the lower level with no precautions in place. Lionfish are venomous, there was no warning sign or labels on the tank. The top was just a slide opening. Curious kids or uneducated adults, for that matter, could easily slip a finger or hand in.

WORSE gromming EVER! They left my long-haired Maltese practically bald! They passed the machine in an unprofessional way! Thank God hair grows! They said he had knots, but come on! this is wicked! even on his legs and head? my pup has long and short locks all over his body! terrible!!!!

Made an appointment was on time, Dr didn't see my dog for an hour! Saw my pup for 10 mins, needless to say 2 hours later I finally got my script. Never again will I take my pup here.

I had great experience with the vet, terrible experience with grooming. I set up a grooming appointment for my fur baby so we get there on time. We are waiting to check in, no line. Everyone who was working ignored me and my fiancé. 5 minutes go by, at this point it is a late check in. 5 more minutes go by, still ignored. We made eye contact/ tried to talk to a few employees, didn’t get any response. At last we are standing at the counter assuming we will finally be taken care of. The lady looks me dead in my eyes and ignored me. So, when they finally asked for appointment information, I just told them to cancel. Very disrespectful especially since i’m paying $100 just to groom my dog. I’ll just do it at home.

I DO NOT recommend anyone to ever take their pet to this place to get groomed . These people have young inexperienced workers cutting on animas. These people shave all of my Yorkie whiskers off & left his mouth area severely irritated and red. His paws were not trim correct , they left my puppy a MESS . They also cut my Yorkies right ear very badly and called us & asked for permission to take him to their Vet. They lied to us and said it was just a niche and it was NOT. They had no remorse for this incident, almost as if this is NORMAL to them. My pup is TRAUMATIZED . Be AWARE . I’ve shared pictures of his previous groomer work and PETCOs work. Please hire fully experienced / fully trained groomers .

Be very careful purchasing livestock or plants from this store. You must quarantine fish and plants before adding to a display or will loose your stock if you have inverts and no hospital tank.

Very good service. I take my dog for his monthly SPA service and the staff at the grooming center are simply fantastic and take very good care of my German Shepard (who can sometimes get super anxious and dog reactive).

We absolutely loved Teresa!! We rescued a dog and she has been amazing but we needed to get a few supplies so we came to Petco... Teresa's Saw us lost and asked us to help and we are so grateful that we took her help.. Teresa was able to give us so much input on what's good for baby girl and recommended some good food for her as well.. we will definitely be back!!
