Do not get the membership unless you have multiple pets and plan to spend enoughI fell for it only to realize that it didn't make sense for me. Having said that, I was able to cancel it

Came in with my German shepherd Dougie who had just been fixed and he needed an e-collar. Employee was really friendly and showed me where to find them. Then Dougie was able to find a big green ball on a low shelf that he wanted to purchase. He grabbed it himself and took to register.

I have been to five different Petco locations multiple times in the past two months because I am working on setting up multiple fish tanks. This location is the only location where my experiences have not been consistently positive. After my experience on 13-Apr-2024 I will not return. I visited this location to look at their inventory in researching fish for a 20-gallon tank. They were also having a dog adoption outside, and it seems like this is where the focus was for the staff. I walked in an noticed several people in the room on the right, but no one at the register or on the sales floor. While looking at the tanks I noticed some were open at the top, I looked down and noticed several fish on the floor that had obviously been stepped on. It was so upsetting and disturbing I left immediately. I know some people do not consider fish as pets, but this is a PET STORE. Do better or remove the aquatics livestock.

I am very disappointed in my last many visits to not only this location but others as well. The service is horrible the prices have sky rocketed and now being asked to pay for a bag is just the last straw for me. A plastic bag is very cheap and is the cost of doing business in my opinion. And there can’t be the excuse that it’s better for the environment because a plastic bag costs a fraction of the 10 cents being charged. It is for sheer profit and it is disgusting to me. I will not shop at Petco anymore and it’s sad because I have spent lots of money there as we have 4 dogs and three fish tanks. Two of which are saltwater and one fresh water. You have lost a long term customer.

Karla did a haircut on my dog. It is the worst haircut ever. She cut my dogs hair to the skin. She just lied and said that my dog had mats on his cheeks when my dog did not. We did not even recognize our dog after his haircut. And he was shaking a lot when we saw him. Really bad experience with the grooming service. I put before and after haircut pictures.

Do NOT take your dog for grooming here. I had the exact same experience another person on here had. A few years ago, I used to get my dog groomed here, and they did a decent job. Today I took him and I was told it would take a while. Okay, I understand, it'd been a while for grooming for him, and he has a double coat of very thick hair. I was told they were short-staffed and that there would only be one groomer there to work on him, so it would take several hours.About 15-20 minutes in, I was called to come pick him up. The girl stated he wouldn't stand on the table for her. He's a 135 pound, 10 year old dog. She said he was choking himself and his tongue was turning purple. WHAT??? So I raced back there to pick him up, and she had shaved his back legs and his stomach TO THE SKIN. This is a double coated dog. You don't shave them to the skin, you shave them to about 1/2 inch or so.He looks so pathetic. I am too livid to speak to the manager at that time. I could not believe when I got home and saw the damage. I should have known when I first got there and Carla asked me to bring him back tomorrow (when I assume she wouldn't be working). I said no because I have other things set for tomorrow and it's an ordeal to get him in and out of the SUV. Never again. Carla just didn't want to deal with it. This is a very gentle dog, he does not fuss, and I've never had a groomer not be able to handle him before. She just didn't want to do it. Period.

I don't know why Petco would schedule 8am appointments if the staff doesn't even show up until 8am or a few minutes after. Just bad service to make people who are trying to be conscientious and show up a few minutes early standing around wondering what is going on.

We arrived right as they opened and were able to have long conversations with two of employees. We were able to ask questions and get detailed answers about several different critters. They were very knowledgeable about the animals they were caring for. Petco definitely hires smart, dedicated individuals who truly seem to care about their guests and their animals.

Initially started getting my pet stuff from here because of location, but they have a Vitalcare Membership. It's worth paying for & I already have savings equivelant to 2 months cost of the membership just my first week. Adding additional pets is cheap. The staff is very caring and helpful and help you f7nnd what you need.

We relocated to TX almost 1 year ago and haven’t been too impressed with groomers. Most have done just ok. My shorkie has come to this location for his last 4 grooming appointments. 2/4 he was with Josetta and she does an amazing job. He looks so handsome and perfect when she has serviced him. My daughter brought him home from his last appointment, he was the cutest and smelled so good. Definitely recommend her if you’re in search for your furry family member. I failed at taking before/after pics but will upload at his next visit in the upcoming weeks.

We took our two golden-doodles to Petco for the first to try their grooming. Our dogs came back so much better! We added the refresh package for our dogs due to the weather change and they were much less itchy. Also, the haircuts themselves were fantastic. Would highly recommend booking with Dustin K.

This pet co gave me and my family the worst grooming experience ever!!! after they cut my dogs hair he was unrecognizable they cut his hair all the way to the skin our stylist was Karla. They lied to us also they said that our dog has mats on his cheeks when he did not. The prices are also unreasonable 94 dollars for a bath and grooming. This was the worst grooming experience ever and I am sorry for whoever takes their dog here and if you do don't get your dogs hair cut by Karla. The night before we visit petco we brushed our dog and untangled all of his hair but they still said that it was tangled. They put my dog into a cage for hours without any care. They seem nice at the beginning but they are not. Terrible experience.

The worst grooming service ever. Don’t take your dog for grooming here. My dog has a really bad haircut with Karla. Customer service was bad too. They don’t even answer their phone. My dog was ready to go but they didn’t call me. They put him in the cage and he was shaking like earthquakes. And took 6 hours to cut my dog’s hair. I will never bring my dog back here.

When you walk in this store no one greets you. The fish department is a mess with zero help. The young employees stand around behind the counter waiting to ring up a bag of dog food. That's the extent of customer service in this store. I blame management. Poor training. I don't know, maybe that's all you get out of this generation.

I don’t know why I am writing this.. I know it will not change or make any difference but here it goes..I booked an appointment for grooming my dog at 10:30am today 5/21/2022. They mentioned that the bath and grooming will take about 3-4 hours.. after 2:30pm I started calling the store 2-3 times and no one answered… at 4:30pm I decided to go and check on my dog.. as I approached the store I saw the groomer pulling my dog from her head and neck..my dog was really scared and shivering.. when I complained about the way they are approaching the dog they claimed that this dog is a regular customer (this is the first visit btw) and doesn’t like to be watched!!! I mean what does this have to do with her pulling her head and neck.. besides that, the groomer looked very nervous and frustrated..To the groomer that was doing this behavior I wish that no one ever treats you or your family this way! And if you do not like your job or animals, there are plenty of other jobs out there!Lying and coming up with stories to customers and leaving dogs in kennels for 6 hours reflects the terrible management of this place!!

The store has a pretty good selection of stuff, but my review is mostly about the dog training. We brought our lab mix there for training. Ricky is the trainer there, and he is fantastic. He had an answer for every question we could come up with, and his solutions actually work! Our dog is certainly not perfect after 6 weeks of training, but she showed some quick improvement and we have the tools to continue on our own. Highly recommend Ricky.

Scheduled a grooming service for my dog and when we got to Petco the groomer told us that his ears were so matted he would need a vet to cut them in case he was hurt during the process. This advice sounded so questionable, we actually took him to two groomers and a vet just to get a professional opinion. Every single person who observed his ears said we were given bad advice, and it most likely was a reflection of the persons experience with grooming and cutting dogs. Basically they didn’t feel comfortable because there’s a lack of experience, so it made more sense for them to give us this crazed story of taking our dog to get groomed at the vet like he needs surgery smh. This was our first time and our last time at this place. It was my wife’s idea is all I have to say. I frequent the same businesses if they have good service. She’s the one that always randomly trying new places out. Unfortunately this time she walked into a trash can disguised as a pet store. Gas is almost $4 a gallon! I did drive around to two different places to make a point to my wife, but Petco honestly should compensate me for the trouble. Being right comes at an expense. I’m pretty sure I’m sleeping in the man cave tonight…. O well
