Good place for a pit stop. Restrooms are normally pretty clean and is a convenient distance from Laredo to get gas and lunch. I stop on my way to Laredo each month and get 1/2 lbs of fajitas at add to my lunch later on in the day. Staff is friendly and there is a small store with touristy items as well as snacks and drinks. Pretty good food for a gas station;)

The store itself is great with a wide selection of small town unique finds and cold drinks. The bathrooms though? I've seen cleaner restrooms in truck stops in Tijuana. Smelled bad, urinals were non functional, stall toilet was non functional, trash was littered throughout the floor, and the employees just shrugged when I asked them about it. I just don't understand how anyone else could review this place and even come close to saying they were clean in any way. Notice how the reviewers that claim these are clean bathrooms never show pictures? Hmmmm

Most gross bathroom. Everything was filthy and dirty and smelled awful. We left in fear and went across the street to another store. But there's no words for this GROSSNESS. In passing through FREER, TX. Please DO NOT STOP HERE!!!

I usually don’t expect much when buying food at convenience stores or gas stations so I went in expecting stripes quality food and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The burgers are huge and delicious. Their fries are good, both regular and seasoned. Their burritos are delicious. The breakfast tacos are ok but could be better with better tortillas.The highlight of it all is their tater tots. They have cheese and bacon in them and are fried perfectly crispy. Not the healthiest option but I’ll eat them every so often.Their restrooms are disgusting though. Good thing they are no where near the food. I don’t think I’ve seen worse restrooms than the ones here, even rest areas have cleaner restrooms.

The local legend. You can, buy animal feed, fuel your rig, grab a pizza, buy some ammo. They also have a good menu of food, as well as everything else you would expect from a convince store. Would recommend.

Made a quick stop on our way back to Laredo. The bathrooms were clean and service was friendly. There's plenty of snacks and souvenirs available, and they have a fair number of gas pumps. There was no line when we went. The pizza they had looked good, but we didn't get any so I can't opine on the quality of it. An overall pleasant experience for a convenience store stop while traveling. They also have outdoor tables and chairs for sale. There's also a coin-operated horse, that brought back memories. 😊

The brisket was great! The potato salad and macaroni wasn't so great. The bacon wrapped, stuffed peppers were great. Staff could be more attentive to new customers. I was greeted promptly and given directions to the washroom. When it came to food...well that's where service went south. Menus weren't readily accessible. Ready cooked food looked nasty (greasy, fattening, sitting too long.) Good menu prices.

Bought a brisket sandwich, very disappointed in how they drowned it in bar b que sauce. Couldn't even taste the quality of the brisket. Felt like if I was drinking a bottle of bar b que sauce. Reminds me of the quote , " tired of those places, that give you more sauce , than meat ".

Incredible service from all workers. Very clean and spacious store with lots of awesome gifts, Knick knacks, and especially hunting gear! If you forgot bullets, camo, a sweater or your yeti cup, Muy Grande definitely has you covered.

What do you say about the store that hosts the oldest buck contest. They have convenience store goods, clothing, deer feeders, and feed. It's a one stop shop.

Cleaner than stripes. Spacious dirt lot for easy semi parking in the back. Could use a new layer of gravel soon. Food is decent. Friendly staff.
