I am only partial to this location so I can only vouch for my experience at this store. I have been going to the lake worth location for years now. I’m very satisfied with every purchase and purchase experience with the store and all its employees. I would definitely recommend this location. One to stay away from however is the the ridgemar location, the grooming salon, my puppy caught Parvo from this location some years back from them not cleaning there cages properly, sadly she passed away from it.Below are all my fur babies raised in hillside science diet, pet smart is the only place most affordable for it! They do price match brick and mortar locations!

We did the dog training with Noelia. My boy. A great pyrenees pittie mix was like talking to rocks. He didn't pay any attention. We started with the puppy class and ended up going all the way through , now , he's a certified canine good citizen. She is a dog whisperer and I can't recommend her enough!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We had an appointment. 2 1/2 hours later when I showed up to get my puppy, they hadn’t done anything but wet him. They claimed it was a bath but by the smell we could tell it wasn’t. He didn’t receive any haircut whatsoever. I carried him out and when I got home noticed he was limping. Now today he will not even use that leg and we are having to take him to the vet. I’m so upset and disappointed in this place and apparently how rough they were with my 3 pound dog! Absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE FOR GROOMING OR VET CARE!!!!! I want to begin by saying that the staff (vet, vet techs, front desk help) have a superhuman level of patience and truly care about every animal that comes in. BUT, the way these businesses are ran (grooming and vet) is a horror show. My dog’s pad on his foot was sliced open by a groomer who was in a hurry to get him done quickly and he ended up needing stitches —right away. The time constraints and the pressure that these folks are put under to get your pet’s services done so quickly is the issue. But more clients means more profit margin for the businesses right? Your pet will suffer because of this — mine did. I am putting this out there as a warning to other potential customers so that your pet doesn’t end up injured and needing emergency vet care like mine did. The whole thing has been a complete nightmare. The people are not the problem — it’s the whole business model and structure. Your pet is just $$$ to the company. Staff and personnel are under too much pressure to sell sell sell and have inhuman turnaround rates for more appointments. It is not their fault — it is the company’s fault. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE FOR GROOMING OR VET SERVICES

I wish I could give zero stars because one star is to much.....This is very disappointing to say this is the worst grooming I've had at this location twice. I have been to multiple petsmart groomers and have had great experiences bout not lake worth location. They didn't even accomplish half the tasks that they are supposed to and poor service on what they did do. I will not return to this store for anything 😒.

Bought a new hermit crab. Named him/her Tiger bc the shell had yellowish and black Colors and strips on the bottom. Bought some new items for the new larger tank we bought so they have more hiding spots and things to climb. Can't wait to get home and put it all together. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and awesome! Best trip to the store.

I'm standing in this pet smart right now... I've been here waiting for a very rude employee for around 30 minutes. She is talking to her friends and I'm watch as crickets crawl out of the cricket cage she left open. My daughter is waiting to get a bird and a few fish. The lady is well aware of this and is rudely not doing her job. We have been in the store for close to 50 minutes and it took about 20 for my daughter to pick out what animals she wanted.

PetSmart is my go to pet store. They always have a variety of things I need for all our pets. We also bought our parakeets from here and the employee was very knowledgeable. They also have a rewards program. You can bring your pets in the store.

This rating is specifically for the grooming department at Lake Worth, TX. Our dog has been groomed by Petsmart for over 7 years. The first few years were great but the quality has gradually diminished. The most recent visit, the groomer cut about 20% of our dog then decided to bathe her. I then received a call that our dog was too anxious and they wouldn’t be able to finish. Our dog has never had this issue with any other groomer. 2 days later we took our dog elsewhere to be finished with her haircut with no issues of anxiety and a better result in half the time! Needless to say we will not be using Petsmart grooming services again.

I made a grooming appt for my puppy with Kelly online, however, Marissa ended up grooming him despite me specifically asking Marissa to NOT groom him due to me being dissatisfied with her work in the past. I was told by Kelly that they “all groom the same”, which is false due to the very different results I get from each groomer even though they receive the same instructions.Needless to say, I’m dissatisfied again after noticing Marissa didn’t grind his nails down low enough, she completely chopped off his fro, which defeats the “teddy bear cut” I asked for. He now has a flat top, and a square shaped cut around his face. A true teddy bear cut has a round look, which ALWAYS gets done correctly whenever she isn’t the one grooming him. Not only is the top of his head flat, but it’s uneven. She also completely disregarded grooming his genital area, even after asking them to do it. I paid $90 for a service that was done poorly, and now my dog looks completely ridiculous for the holidays. I picked up my puppy right as they were closing early (which also wasn’t communicated to me beforehand), so all of the other groomers had left for the day. I’m extremely disappointed, and will have to make another trip back up there after the holidays to get my dog fixed by someone who knows what they’re doing.

I've used the groomers there a few times and my experience was meh. Today I booked with Dylan who is always friendly and informative. I am so impressed with his work I will be using him going forward. My dog was so fluffy, soft, and smelled amazing. I love how the cut was exactly what I wanted and he made the experience feel personal. He took great care of my fur-baby and kept her perfectly scruffy- just how I wanted. Thank You Dylan!

If I could do zero stars, I would. For the 2ND time now my dog has been at the groomer for hours, waiting and waiting, and he’s a Shih Tzu, so shouldn’t take long at all. The appointment was at 3pm and they didn’t start on him until almost 7pm. No courtesy calls, no updates on the schedule, nothing. The manager said a 50% discount is all they could do, but they should have completely waived the grooming fee. 4 weeks ago it was the same thing ON TOP OF Tawny who quit grooming in the middle of the appointment. This is the last time we come here.

We were taking our poodle there. But every time we don’t get our normal girl we get this other one. She’s always charging us extra for a contrary dog and says she couldn’t complete the cut but yet not only do we get charged full price but she even charges us extra.

I have come to this location twice for fish. Every fish I have purchased (a total of 5) has been healthy, which is always a good sign. The employees seem knowledgeable, and they actually ask questions about your current tank (to make sure it's a good fit). Great store, great employees :)

I drive further to go to this PetSmart because the building is always clean, the pets visiting as well at the ones waiting to be purchased always seem happy and healthy. Oh and the tanks aren't gross looking - I feel like that's often the case with the one closer to my home. I've only ever had one kinda rude employee there but hell she could have just been having a rough day idk. Otherwise I've always found that this location has the BEST employees. They're helpful and knowledgeable and don't just tell you to buy the most expensive version of whatever you're looking for. I also had an issue with an online order for delivery and when I reached out thru their website they did more than was necessary to resolve the issue and keep me as a customer.

I have been coming to this PetSmart every few weeks for my dog food for the past year since we moved into the neighborhood. Today I went in at 5:55 (not knowing that they closed early for the holiday) and I was so rudely greeted at the door by one of the employees manually opening and closing the sliding front door. She told me “we are closing in 1 minute!” I told her that I was here to get dog food and that was all and she barely allowed me to go in. I was shocked and disappointed in this woman’s attitude - because the girl who checked me out was SO sweet. The lady at the door was wearing shorts - no name tag or I would tag her in this post. So awful. Will NOT be returning.

The Lake Worth Pet Smart employees are super helpful. I went in to buy dog food for my Corgi. As I was searching the isles for the brand my dog eats, multiple employees reached out to help me. When we found that they do not carry the brand my dog is used to, they helped me find another store that carried it. Great job Pet Smart employees!!!
