I love the Cityview Town Crossing & Sherry Lane locations! The staff are approachable and informative. Most visits, the staff will approach me first and offer assistance. Sarah was extremely helpful as I make adjustments to our supplies due to budget restrictions and health needs of new pets added to our household.We discussed variety of products, inventory availability, and supplies to accommodate all the individual needs of each pet.I rotate my retail sources as needs are dynamic, Petco is among one of the first stops I make to supplement my stock or shop for new supplies.I also visit the potential adoptions & browse at area pet supply stores while running errands for other needs. These two locations are most frequently en route to other destinations.

I wish they had negative stars because this place is a joke. The groomer is an absolute joke, as she has no respect for anyone and blatantly lies to our faces telling us our dogs were cleaned properly and dry when I am sitting there holding a wet dog waiting for her to try and rectify the issue but that never happened. Then the general manager comes and tells my wife she is no longer welcome for daring to want our dogs cleaned and dried properly. NOT ONCE DID THEY OFFER TO RECTIFY THE ISSUE!! NOT ONCE!!! At a minimum ask if you can take them back and dry them off but no not even that. I can almost guarantee they mistreat the animals and I wouldn't trust them with your loved ones for 1 single second. They aren't even 5 pounds, and you couldn't get them done properly is a disgrace, I should have hired a 5 year old to give them better baths. (This picture isn't after their "baths" it's just for reference of their hair.)

I choose Petco for convenience & cost savings. However, the level of service is mediocre. It's always hit or miss regarding if my dogs will still look recognizable & "cute". This past service I asked for a teddy bear face & received gremlin face instead. Sad day. Before & After photos attached

My husband and I will only go to this location(even though that means driving 45min to get there). They are the only one that always has our dog, cat food, and litter in stock!! Plus it's the cleanest petco we've found by far!

I only come here because of the employees.They’re always super sweet and willing to help my family and I with whatever we need, doesn’t matter the time or day. But the Manager Harley? Or maybe Haley? She can be pretty passive aggressive/rude to them at times. I don’t think that’s ok, especially when you’re doing it in front of customers. If you don’t like your job, then quit! It’s simple.

We took my dog last weekend saturday feb 4 for a grooming appointment not only did they take four hours to have her finished but before i paid the bill the Groomer "Komfert" told me that my dog chloe hair was going to be fairly short then i asked her if there was anything i should be concerned about due to the fact that she is a poodle and her skin is very sensitive ? She responded that there was nothing to worry about , just to keep an eye out . Now we have found ourselves in this situation where our dog ears have been cut and she has dried blood on both of her ears , but we were not informed that she was one cut or that her ears may be in irritated even when i asked the groomer she never stated she cut my dog . I am upset because i was never informed my dogs ears were cut and i gave the groomer and place to be honest with me . Now i'm concerned for possible ear infections due to the cuts on her ears.

You have got to be kidding me with this low level of customer service. I dropped my 2 tea cup Yorkies for baths and didn't get them back until 515pm. My husband gets off work at 430 so I asked if they were almost done and she stated they haven't gotten baths yet , so my husband met me here and we had dinner close by. Within 30-40 minutes we got a call the puppies were done so they spent 40 minutes on two dogs with long hair. Upon arriving the groomer and the general manager were behind the register giggling about how the groomer just did 3 dogs in three hours but the groomer corrected her and stated no I did 4. Upon receiving our puppies back, I stated they didn't feel clean and that they were still wet. The groomer instantly went to, "if you don't like the way we groomed them then I suggest you don't bring them back". I kindly replied that they are still wet, they weren't done and she said she was in a rush because of the other dogs and asked if we wanted to speak to a manager. Of course I wanted to speak to the manager and she condoned this behavior and stated that she would take care of the cost and that I was no longer welcome at Petco and would be banned from going back. I never raised my voice or said anything derogatory and I'm sitting there with 2 wet dogs trying to get her to do their job. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND NEVER GO HERE, I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE SHE WAS BEING ROUGH AND RUDE WITH OUR DOGS IN HER RUSH TO GET HER JOB DONE. SHE OBVIOUSLY HAS NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER OR THE ANIMALS AS SHE MADE OUR DOGS SIT AND WAIT FOR US WHEN I COULD HEAR THEM BARKING PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY WERE FREEZING ALL WET IN THE CAGE WAITING.

I really like this store but the girl i talked to for help was unecessarily passive agressive and condescending. She had dark brown wavy/curly hair, probably 20ish.I had fish when i was little, so i thought id get a beta for my 7 year old. He really wanted one. So a week ago we came in and had a really thorough conversation with one of the employees about what we needed to get setup. We bought several items to get the small tank set up and treated the water for a week then came back to get the fish and food. We went to check out and the asked the girl just what else we might need on a basic level to take care of a first time fish. I said we already had the tank setup and was simply asking if there were any main things left to buy other than what we got. For our 1 gallon tank she said a filter and heater. I dont necessarily disagree however we are not buying a 25 gallon fish tank that we plan to commit hours a week maintaining. I said, ok we will come back for it later. And she kept pushing it. I repeated that we would come back for it and she acted like i shouldnt be taking care of a fish...a beta fish. She then started talking to my son and asked him questions about how to care for a fish and i had to explain our living situation which is personal...that he stays at his grandparents during the week due to my work schedule..naturally, i will be taking care of the fish during the week. She then told him that he should call me every day to remind me to feed the fish...im a grown adult lol. It was just a little inappropriate and definitely felt like a jab.The next time i feel like being harassed at a pet store i will definitely come here and find this particular associate.

I am mortified how my precious Persians look. They are chopped to pieces and did not follow instructions of belly butt and paws needing trimmed, who does not trim the hair around the paws plus they cut my 6 month old to where she bled.

brought my other dog for the first time. Petsmart groomers have always done a great job but were fully booked. First of all, selected misty, got someone names komfertbit says. They completely shaved off her face and ears and left alot of her body hair so she has a skinny head with no hair and a body full of hair still. Here is a before (her shaggy) and after going in. I told them i didnt like it and to at least make it neat. Last photo is how petsmart does it. Regardless of any amount of matting she’s had! THEY ALSO CHARGED HER UNDER LARGE BREED AND VET CHECKED TODAY SHE IS ONLY 44lbs!!!

Got amazing advice on what type of fish would be best in my aquarium. Ended up bring g home 5 fish and 2 snail free live plants. So far I haven't killed any of them so they are truly hearty

Worst grooming experience. Groomer cut my dog's paw and did not mention it (it is bleeding). I noticed driving on my way home. I would not recommend here. My dog spent three hours there and when I showed up for an updated, he had only gotten a bath. No haircut. Definitely not worth the $67. Now i've got to worry about the cut not getting infected. This location is generally clean. Occasionally you'll find a random spot where a dog peed and it wasn't cleaned. I like the clearance isle. I've found some cool dog leashes that were marked over 50% off. Staff are knowledgeable and polite.I recommend.

Very satisfied with my purchase, the cashier is so kind and funny. I was at the PetSmart but the manager didn’t want to sell me a fish for a stupid reason (apparently the manager told me and my boyfriend that they close two hours early) so I left without purchasing anything and decided to go to Petco, the cashier greeted us as soon as we walk in and I got my very own fish. I am definitely coming back! ❤️

I went to this location looking for nose balm. Found a few other things that I was needing for my pup. I was pretty bummed that the prices were a bit higher than Amazon. I asked the cashier if they price matched. She said they do from their website. She patiently helped me find each item on their site I was purchasing. Every single thing was cheaper and I saved a ton of money—anywhere from $2-$9. All of the staff were super nice and friendly. Great selection. I will definitely be coming back to this location.

This was the worst grooming experience I’ve had thus far. They didn’t finish my dogs grooming because they said she was in heat. She’s 7 months, so this was her first time.Yet, they sent her home half groomed. As you can see in the picture one foot is trimmed and the other is not. They STILL CHARGED ME 35$ for a bath.This was a last minute grooming I needed. I won’t be coming back here for anymore services. There was nothing stated about this in the documents I signed and they could have handled it so much better.

Had a very great experience, there was someone who knew a lot about cats. This store carries the Orijin line of cat food that I prefer. Petco is my usual place for cat supplies. However, the price on the cat grass is pretty ridiculous.

I had a dog grooming appointment for my dog on July 1st at 10am. Upon my arrival the lady who's picture was behind the counter of the grooming desk which identified her as the manager seemed annoyed to have to help me. The paper she wanted me to sign said they were going to treat my dog for fleas. I explained my dog doesn't have flees and gets treated regularly. She replied by saying they have had a problem with fleas and ticks lately. I initially left my dog there but turned around and picked her up. Also when the manager came out of the back to retrieve my dog, she left another dog tied up. You could clearly see the dog struggling and choking itself. She should have taken the 30 seconds necessary to place the dog back in the kennel first. I will not be returning to the store as the location on North Tarrant Parkway is far superior to this location.

Went to buy a friend for my gold fish because my children have had ask for one. When we were ready to buy, we ask for help, we told the employee what we wanted. she procced to tell us that gold fish grow up to 1ft, have in mind that the fishes that we wanted were less than an inch long .we told her that we already have one gold fish and she start telling us that our fish is going to die in a month beacuse it didnt have enough space. I have had my fish for a long time I'm not an expert but the fish got a new tank, I care for him every day.So we tell her to give us some time because my son was starting to cry because he heard what she say us about the fish, after that we just left empty handed. If my fish dies is because she jinx him plus they don't even take good care of the fishes in store. The picture its dead fish been absorb by the filter.
