Dear Crusty, thank you so much for your excellent & efficient work on my car, and great customer service! I requested to have my driver window fixed and expected to be there all day, instead I was out in less than 15 minutes. Thank you for valuing my time and making sure that I was well taken care of. You were very patient and explained what the problem was & what would be done to resolve it. The manager, Cody, was also very helpful when checking me out. He also explained what was being done to my vehicle to resolve the issue to make sure I understood & kept me in the loop with updates. A plus for being cute.Again, thank you both so much for your work. I will definitely be recommending this location to friends & family!

Made an appt for an oil change. They pulled in the truck. We waited over an hour as the only people waiting there with an appt. Just doesn’t make much sense. The tech finished up and went to work on another vehicle when ours had been done. Just very slow, they say they don’t usually take appts but you can book right on the website and they had a hard time finding the appt.

Front desk lady was short almost rude and wasn’t knowledgeable about cars. Went in to get my wheel studs replaced and an extra lug nut. I provided them with one and they only put the one on not the other due to the one I provided being damaged, fair, but a phone call to the customer should’ve happened to inform them and offer to add an extra one at cost.Got my car back with it sounding horrible although it didn’t before had to give back to them because they bent a piece of aluminum that goes somewhere near my tire.Over all 2/5 stars. Front desk lady needs more car experience. They need better communication with the customer when issues arise during repair and fix things right the first time.

Took double the amount of time to put 4 new tires on my vehicle. While 1 persons was working on my vehicle I saw 3 other employees sitting around that could have helped. Also noticed that the guy working on my vehicle was also stopping to do something on his phone

All I wanted was and tire patch SIMPLE, I made a comment about the condition and rough patches on the tire and he says kinda like your life right now?" Terrible customer service. They also forget to put parts back on your car. I’ve been coming to this location for 2years. Today was the last straw when I came for help to simply put air in my tire and the front office guy must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed because he was very rude. & wanted to argue about which tire I said needed air.

Went there to get my car tire serviced on which they needed to use my personal tools which I brought cause I got new set of rims as. getting my tool handed back they bent it and stripped all my lug nuts and when I ask about this so we can solve it. they tell me nun they can do since I let them use my tool n one of my lug nuts they got stuck inside it to which I now gotta purchase all new lug nuts and a brand new tool I won’t recommend this shop n my car done been serviced on past few days which had to take my wheels off n everyone else had there own tools n did not stripp them soon I take to them I run into problems AVOID THIS shop if u can or at your own risk

AVOID THIS SHOP!!!I was quoted a price for four specific services (including coolant system flush and inspection) on my 2019 Jetta. With the shop knowing my year, make, and model, they scheduled a Saturday appointment for repairs that should take "a couple of hours." Dropping off my car 15 minutes ahead of the appointment time, I asked if 3 hours would be enough. I was assured it would be.I return 4.5 hours later. The car is still being worked on. When i dropped the car off, they informed me that they couldn't do the inspection today because the inspection guy doesn't work weekends. (Remember, they knew i was needing an inspection when they made the Saturday appointment.)Also, they informed me that they couldn't do the coolant flush because they didn't have the necessary adapter. They wouldn't even admit that they could have informed me in advance of this might be an issue, given that they knew the type of vehicle when making the appointment. Plus, they refused my request to see if another pep boys shop in the are has the adapter. Instead, they mused that it might only be able to be done at the dealership.After setting up the appointment, I bought pep boy gift cards to cover the price of the entire job, based on the quoted price for the four services.Now...after 5 hours (and counting...)I'm left with $150 of cards to a place with such s*** seevice.AND I still need an inspection and coolant flush done.Thanks for nothing.Update: Moved to two stars from one after the conclusion of the interaction with the store. After I read aloud the above review to the person checking me out, who had been extremely unhelpful (as described above), he gave me a 10% discount for the issues I encountered. Honestly, this does not really solve my problem, but it was at least a recognition that their work on the service experience was lacking.

Scheduled an appointment on Saturday night for Sunday at 1100. I had to drive about 50 miles because it was the nearest location that had my tire available. Once I arrived for my appointment, they checked me in and said it would be a few hours. At about 1215 I asked how much longer would it be because I wanted to grab something to eat. They then advised that they are giving me keys back because they didn’t have the tire. I understand accidents happen but they really wasn’t professional about the appointment from the start. ZERO STARS, NOT RECOMMENDED!

So I went in to get a tire rotation. And the Manager Ryan told me that there was no room to do the work and that I would be hours before he could get to me. When I could clearly see that there were open bays and people not working on anything in particular. If I could put 0 stars I would. I was just waiting until I got paid before I got a brand new set of 4 tires but since I got the bad service I will just take my business else where

Take your business elsewhere.My wife and I took our car here and asked for an oil change. The tech put in the wrong kind of oil. I noticed this before driving off and went back inside to request the proper oil. The woman at the desk said that it "didn't matter" and turned me away. After contacting corporate, the manager begrudgingly agreed to change my oil to the correct type (many days later). They used the correct oil type, but the tech left the drain plug and oil filter loose - I was informed during my next oil change (somewhere else) that oil had leaked out.

Stopped by Friday afternoon pulled up to the tire garage door I waited at least 15mins for someone to check 1 tire. Finally I called the store they answered as I told them I’m here waiting in front of the garage door for tire service and no one has came to assist. The guy did come out right away to check my tire pressure… slow service😏 didn’t acknowledge a customer waiting

I was really upset about my experience here. On google it says they open at 7:30am, I made an appointment online for 8am. I arrived and tried to walk into the office at 7:56! It was locked I went back to my car and called and told the guy I had an appointment at 8, but I couldn’t get in. He said yeah I saw you but we don’t open until 8. He was so rude, when it was time for me to pay he didn’t want to accept my coupon that I had got from the pep boys website. Whatever I paid in full but I would never go back nor recommend it to anyone. I should have read the reviews before going and I would have avoided such an awful experience.

Horrible experience. Traveling here from Florida with my mom and kid sister, and we got an oil change from this location. They forgot to put on a lid or something, and the oil started leaking as we drove. We had to pull over on the highway, and wait 4 hours for help to arrive. We called the company multiple times, but staff was unhelpful and wasted our time. Do not come here.

When for an oil change unfortunately because my routine place was over scheduled so I was seeking a new place . I had to be to work so my wife had to stay with the vehicle mind you she’s pregnant but it had to be done we were leaving for a graduation out of town the next day.. She stated there was no where to sit and the men that where did not get up for her to sit which isn’t pep boys fault so she stood outside after saying we where next but that wasn’t the case she then need to use the restroom where she stayed it was disgusting. So after getting our vehicles oil changed finally I was a aware of a small leak we had had prior which the mechanic on duty said it was so bad we needed a new motor after leaving the car smoked super bad smelled and was leaking from spots that it wasn’t before I know for sure. Ended up surrendering the car because of these issues . Car had been leaking that small leak for almost over a year and ironically even throughout all the oil changes it managed until coming here … so I’m a firm believing giving chances came in with sister in law about a week or 2 later for a tire soon as I walked to the counter irritate customer stating “how I paid you $800 to fix a oil leak and it’s still leaking “, red flag number 2 politely left won’t be returning

I had my 04 Volkswagen golf alternator go out at the WORST TIME. CHARLES and his crew at the shop did amazing. Had it done within 2.5 hours, no joke and it's NOT in an easy spot on this car. My check was late, he held it a lil longer for me. DESTROYED me on taxes on my check as I started a new job, he did what he could on the price. Everyone knows that nowadays every penny counts with most of us and he helped me out absolutely as much as he possibly could. Thank u so much CHARLES. PEP BOYS, GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE. Hard worker, cool guy, and a REAL ONE. Highly recommended. O Yea AND they pulled my car in every night to ensure nothing got stolen or busted up.
