Happy k9 is fab ! I went through them originally because they worked with Saving Hope rescue.Very quickly after I took my Foster dogs to them I decided how much I love them, respected them and enjoyed visiting their business on Camp Bowie .I now take my kids Happy and Tinker to get groomed.All around positive experience Paula is my groomer. She does a fabulous job!My dogs are seniors they’re both deaf and partially blind -And they always come out with their tail, wagging and look absolutely adorable.Oh and they smell like a blueberry fruit 🍎 basket !!!

DIY dog wash! I thoroughly enjoyed the ability to bathe my German boy, even if he didn’t LOL! Plenty of space and products to choose from such as various shampoos and conditioners, if your fur baby has sensitive skin they have oat shampoo and conditioners, wash towels, gel cleanser for teeth, different styles of brushes, dog colognes, grooming spray, water sprayer with a knob to adjust the water flow pressure and dryer. $29.99 for our visit because pricing is by weight. If your pet is smaller there’s an area that can be used that’s a bit more compact and more accessible. The walk-in tubs were really convenient for me! Beats the backyard! They have treats, toys and products to buy. My German boy was more than happy to choose his squeaky toy.

Have been taking my lab here for 4 years. Every groomer is kind to me and my dog. And they are willing to do whatever .we get pretty basic baths and brush but feet and teeth too. Never been disappointed. Highly recommend

Unfortunately I had higher expectations due to the reviews everyone left on this site. I want to believe I had a new person, but the experience was not as I expected. This was my first time taking both of my babies to this location to get their haircuts and I’m pretty disappointed that their haircuts came out horrible. My toy yorkie’s hair came out very choppy, uneven, and looks like they didn’t take off her collar to evenly cut around her neck. Her leg hairs are longer than the hairs around her body as if they didn’t even cut it. My other yorkie’s left side of his face is short than the right and they didn’t cut the hairs from his ears to match with his face. Very disappointing. After picking them up I called them and they immediately said to take them to Metro Pet Wash so I decided to call Metro Pet Wash to check if they were going to handle the fees. Well, turned out they didn’t have an appointment for my dogs. Long story short, they were just as confused about it as I was! Why would they send me to a different location & not take responsibility & correcting it themselves?? Don’t take your dogs here! You might as well do yourself! It’ll come out just as bad!

My dog looks great and smells clean. He was well taken care of. My only complaint would be needing two people up front checking in. Especially in the morning. The girl was on the phone with a long winded , full of ridiculous questions and I was 15 minutes late to work. Also, an elderly woman was in there with two dogs. Neither were friendly and one not on a leash. I had to protect my dog from them both since they both tried to get to him. Stuck my foot in front of loose one

My pup got post groom furunculosis from the self wash here, had never heard of it till we had an emergency vet visit for it. It comes from improper cleaning of shampoo bottles. It’s very rare. I’ve been bringing my dogs here for four years and have never had an issue and always really enjoyed it, I would just highly suggest bringing your own shampoo. My vet told me to call and let them know about this but they did not pick up the phone or call me back so I just left a voicemail so hopefully they are aware and can provide better sanitation in the future.

Nope! Paid $90 today for my “normal” go to groom on my doodle and for whatever reason today they made him look like he got a prison cut. Extremely upset and last time because they couldn't even explain why they did this to him or what happened. We go every month like clockwork and just disappointed in reliability and lack of explanation or sympathy after picking up my dog looking like a freak.

First time being groomed for my 8 month old doodle. She still had a lot of her puppy hair. She looks adorable after her cut. I was worried she wouldn’t look like herself but they did a great job on her. I was told she did well.

Absolutely horrendous. The new management or whoever took over has absolutely no idea how to schedule or run a business.After waiting THREE WEEKS for an appointment (I get it, holidays), I dropped off my dog at 9:15. The groomer mentioned they had a lot of big dogs (mine included) so they might be a little behind.All good no worries, right?Wrong. I called in to check an ETA for my dog at 2:30. The woman who answered the phone checked with groomer and told me it would be 2 MORE HOURS because he hasn’t been started yet.I immediately come get my dog, who spent 5 hours in a CAGE without a bath or groom. Why even let me bring him in? I mentioned lived down the street, so why couldn’t they have let me bring him back when they’re ready?They have a MAJOR problem with communication. I have twice before NOT been alerted when my dog was ready, and that’s why I always call now. I even wrote at the top of the page PLEASE CALL when I checked him in..Absolutely maddening, they don’t have any regard for people’s pets. And the worst part is it’s not even the employee’s fault! But the manager is conveniently NEVER there, and there is no way to contact them directly.STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR DOG.

The two stars is for the customer Service but the grooming is horrible. My 7 month old GoldenDoodle went here twice. Each time cost 100 for just basic bath face feet trim each time I asked do the cost include teeth brushing ear plucking and nail trimming I was told yes but they didn’t do any of that. After second grooming I decided to go back to my mobile Groomer come to find out my dogs ears was never plucked nor nails never trimmed and never had a proper trim. I’m highly disappointed after paying 100 bucks. I would suggest you check your pets after picking them up to make sure the grooming was done correct. Never will use them again sadly

I brought my dog in for an appointment at 1015am. I called at 4 pm asking if my dog was ready to be picked up. They told me she would be done around 445pm. I arrived at 515pm and there was no response on why it took them 7 hours to groom my dog. The service was terrible having my dog sit in a kennel for 7 hours. when I got home my dog ran to her water bowl and wouldn't stop drinking water for a bit, then I got a call at 547pm, right before Happy K9 closed, saying that my dog was ready to be picked up. This is so awful and unacceptable.

My Great Pyrenees Prince loves going to see Paula! He is normally nervous to go to the groomer or vet but he gets excited when we arrive at Happy K-9. Thank you for always sending my baby home smelling great and looking handsome

I was able to walk-in without an appointment to get my dog’s nails clipped. Staff was very polite, and friendly. They got the job done very quickly, affordably. They were careful and delicate with my dog as well. Maggie Mae and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

We have been customers for a very long time. After days of trying to get someone to answer the phone, we recently had an appt and requested the same service we always have. When we picked our pet up we were charged a large fee and he wasn’t groomed or shaved. We were told we would have to make another appt and pay full price for the correct service. The lack of respect and customer service were appalling and we won’t be back.

I'd like to say that I was even able to be seen but the cancellation on their end took place three times to have my two dogs groomed.The first time I booked, I called on a Tuesday and was able to get an appointment for both my dogs that Thursday. I was notified on Wednesday that only one dog had the appointment and that regardless, there was no time for the groomer to even see one of my dogs.I trusted, as a new person in town, that it was a one time fluke. I was wrong. Therefore during the conversation in which I was told there was no appointment for that Thursday, I made an appointment for 10 days later, a Saturday so that both dogs could be seen. I was called the Wednesday prior that there were no available appointments for my dogs to be seen and needed to be scheduled a third time.With nearly a three and a half week lead time, saying that I was disappointed but willing to give them another chance, I booked for tomorrow, Saturday, November 11, 2023. This morning (Friday, November 10th), I got notification via text that one of my dogs had an appointment. So I called to confirm both still had an appointment and perhaps it was a glitch. NO. I was told that there were notes of a second dog and that again there were no groomers scheduled.So no groomers scheduled.....on a Saturday? Three times in a row? New in town and now my dogs have waited over a month for reasons that completely fall on the company to fix and nothing has been done.The only thing I was offered was to reschedule a fourth time. Why would a person do that? I had no faith after the second cancellation but I had trust. Now there is no faith and no trust.Do not even waste your time. Apparently running a business is not priority for the ownership, leadership, or employees.

Not happy made me pay extra because 2 people would be grooming my dog because the original groomer had an emergency. Either pay extra or reschedule. I wanted my dog groomed before the holidays. Didn't see why I needed to eat the cost.

I’ve taken my pup here multiple times the past couple years. There have been a few issues but this last one was the last straw. I scheduled an appointment and got a confirmation. I even got an email and text confirmation the day before for 7:30AM. I show up and they do not have my appointment. The lady was unwilling to do anything about it while I was there even after showing her the email/text confirmation. This isn’t the first time this has happened. This most recent incident occurred 12/20/2023 and I wish I would have stopped going a few years ago when it happened the first time. Poor service and management.

My puppy got a cut here and she looks great! They were super accommodating with my schedule, and my dog enjoyed her time. Natalie did a great job grooming and being patient with my puppy. Definitely coming back!

This was my first experience and it couldn’t have been better! The nail tech did an amazing job trimming by senior boy’s nails and the woman at the front desk was super helpful and polite. We will definitely be back!
