This has not been the best DG over the last couple years. I found myself forced to shop there recently and was pleasantly surprised! It's still a work in progress but it's improving, apparently they got a new store manager who actually cares about keeping the store decent. I asked him for help finding something and he was super helpful and nice, hopefully he can turn this garbage dump into a decent store. If he does I'll definitely shop there more instead of going further away to a better store.

This store just closes whenever the employees feel like it. It’s not even 9 there supposed to be open for another 30 minutes and they are closed. This is not the first time. This is consistent. They need new employees that actually want to work

For all my fellow couponers, this location now has the updated system. It will NOT allow you to stack coupons, even though the coupon restrictions don’t state that you can’t. The Camp Bowie location still has the old system. Save your $$ and go there!

On-line shows they close at 9 I went at 7:30pm and the door was locked the lady came out and said we are closed. I said "oh i thought you closed at 9" and she locked the door and went back inside.

If I could give half a star!!!! Online orders what’s that!??! Cancel my orders every time!! Very rude always closed due to something!! Items aren’t priced correctly. Don’t want to check you out but stand over you like you’re going to steal. What ever happened to customer service and common courtesy!?! Only good thing I can say the items I usually purchase are always in stock. Maybe because they’re closed all the time!

Their pickup option doesn't actually exist. Cashier told me it didn't matter that I needed to shop like regular because they don't select items themselves.

If yall notice the most recent review is from 8 months ago. My most recent experience here happened here in june.⚠️DO NOT⚠️place online orders for pick up, yes its convenient but this location is closed often early because of a/c issues or no associates so there a limited window on when you can pick up your order. The same day my order was ready for pick up Sunday June 12, 2022, the store was closed 🙃 at 4:30pm, fine Id just come back earlier in the day monday. This is when later at night at 11:15pm I recieve a notification from the DG app that my order had been PICKED UP. By who??? Not me 🙃 Its been a hassle to get a refund and the store has been no help.Just ⚠️AVOID ⚠️this location at all costs. Go to DG in lake worth or diamond hill.As for in store shopping, I can't say much better, its a DG, it messy and disorganized. I would not shop here if not for the coupons.

In general I really like the store and they have different products than other stores which I like but the one in River oaks there's one manager oh my God they all look like they're mad at the world I asked for a little help and they just act like you're bothering them... That's maybe three times out of four but one time I went in there and different set of people and they were really nice. They ought to do like that show on TV when the boss disguises himself as another person and sees what the employees are really like that would be cool..

I went to the store to get a gift card for $500.00 , I paid for the card. They took my money and did not load the card. When I tried to use it ,it did not work.they took my money and I did not get nothing

Clean as always and updated the store totally. It's a lot better than Family Dollar. These stores are mainly convenience as they are not $1 stores anymore. Too bad, but digital coupons for pods, fabric softener, dryer sheets really come in handy.

I mean they switch employees much that its hard to keep the store organized. Prices are good. But just the overall quality could be better if they would keep employees for longer than a few months. Atleast to get the store a bit more organized in cleanliness.

I Am a regular Customer of this store. I Love this store. The Employee's Always Great you with a Heart felt "Hello" and "Smile". Which starts you off to a great shopping experience. I am always helped when I ask. And I am a Couponer So fellow couponers y'all already know the attitude of the workers is key. And this store I have to say Two thumbs up. I Visit the Store at the very least 4 times a week. Store is Always Organized, The Manager is Extremely Helpful, always ready to make your experience better. And if the item is not in stock. He will check theback for you. Big Plus in My Book. Always Make me feel Excited about My Next Visit. This Is Now My New Store!!!! 😀🤗👍🎉

This one in particular has sooo many good items for someone starting fresh. The store may be cluttered at times but the treasure out weighs time it takes to navigate the store. Best of all, the staff is friendly.

In many occasions I have noticed that some of their food items are out of date. And their customer service is not very good. Little people working there do not engage in any type of conversation with you not even to greet you. They just stay there standing with a blank expression in their face after scanning your items and tell you what your prices and that's it you pay and you leave. I only go here if I don't want to go into Walmart but most of the time I make the conscious decision to go to Walmart instead of this store. Which Walmart's customer service is not that great either but since they have self-checkout I don't have to deal with anybody bad moods because they don't like their job.

I would just like to let everyone know that this location is discriminatory when choosing employees. After hearing from a good source that this location was hiring, finding the job listings on their website, applying, and then going into the store (which had a rather large NOW HIRING sign out front), I was looked over, smirked at, and told that they are not hiring at this location. I have had a weight problem my entire life and have NEVER been treated with such disrespect. I was wearing nice clothing, was very polite, and he didn't even give me time to finish my sentence when I was asking about a job. Just to be sure that I wasn't imagining things, I had someone I know call this morning to ask about open positions. She was told that they were hiring a stocker and two cashiers. This appalls me. I am aware that an obese person may not have the endurance or stamina of someone who is in shape. I am aware that someone might not want to hire a person of my size. However, my condition is considered a protected disability, and this man flat out lied to me. I hope you take this in consideration when considering applying, or even shopping at this location.

After the renovation this store is like a totally different place. I love how clean and organized it looks now, and the assortment of products. Plus customer service has improved so much!

I worked there many many years ago and I must say they have really upgraded the whole place its very nice now....Never had a problem there shopping great staff only complaint is it is a bit warm in there at times

Nice friendly and good sales/markdowns. Only thing is it is to hot, no air blowing and ac not on or working. Not good for people w/breathing problems. Otherwise a great place.
