Oh my soul! This is something everyone must witness to believe. If this is your local grocery store you don’t know how fortunate you are. Been, and lived, in many locals now and nothing comes close to this experience. Clearly the best grocery store bar none. Brain and belly overload, clean throughout even while busy, friendly and knowledgeable staff in every department, and leaves you in a sort of euphoria rarely achieved. Central Market definitely set the proverbial bar extremely high. Keep up the great work!

I came here for lunch at the Cafe and made my own salad. The salad ingredients were so fresh and there were so many options to choose from. There's also a sandwich line and tons of ready-to-eat choices for pastas, meats, salads, BBQ, rice, and more. There's a nice sushi section and different types of coffee. It was actually a bit overwhelming for my first visit to see how much food there was. Plenty of seating inside, outside, and upstairs by their cooking school.

Dyllon from the seafood department is amazing! He tells me recipes on how to prepare some of the best seafood. Stop by and see him bc he seems to enjoy educating others on how to cook. He has excellent taste and I appreciate the tips!

I don’t have a Central Market by my house but I do have an H‑E‑B . I love both but when it comes to healthy foods , supplements, vitamins, skincare , hair products, candles and also adorable birthday cards by Papyrus , CM never fails . Their products are pricier than your average store but I’d say it’s definitely worth it , I lose track of time when I’m shopping in there . They had some of my favorite bath salts and sugar scrubs today .It wasn’t too busy today which was a nice surprise for a Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend y’all check out Central Market off of Hulen in Fort Worth! ❤️

I found Central Market to be a shopping adventure. There are so many items you don't find at most grocery stores. It's set up like an Ikea with a Discovery path thru the store. It has a great meat and fish market. I picked up some delicious muffins from the bakery. Some of the basics are a little spendy. The prepared foods look scrumptious. I'm sure I'll be back.

I will not preorder any holiday meals with central market again. This was my first time ordering a holiday meal. We purchased one meat and two vegetables dishes. With no advance notice the store did not have one of the vegetable dishes I ordered. The store did offer to substitute a potato side, but the majority of my guests cannot eat potatoes. Subbing a carb for a squash vegetable dish is not a good solution. I am disappointed. It would have been most helpful to have as much advance notice as possible.

Wow! I was blown away! Visiting from the San Francisco Bay Area and decided to have a look. This place is Texas HUGE, every item is represented in any variety you can imagine. Stand out departments would be Fruits & Veg, an extensive meat counters, fresh artisanal bread of every imaginable kind. Every other area of the store was WELL stocked. If you can't find what you want here, you probably just need to ask. Pretty sure it's there.

Lord please help this place I just bought a salad from the salad bar on Saturday and got food poisoning. When I tell you I have been so sick 🤢 I called the hospital and Jesus Christ for help, I tell you y’all please 🙏🏾 be careful eating from this place salad bar I had to go on TikTok to see what I could do to rid myself from this horrible situation and I ended up taking Activated Charcoal what a relief for a bit but if this doesn’t work I will probably have to take antibiotics to kill the bacteria smh just remember my review next time your a a salad bar and God Bless.

Wow…can’t believe it’s taken me this long to go to a Central Market! As one of my friends said, it’s magical. I felt aww struck by all the options… so many cool finds , was hard not to buy the whole store haha. The produce looked so good and fresh, the prices were pretty good I thought, esp the central market brand. After leaving NY State and badly missing Wegmans, Central Market definitely fills that hole!Made a delicious dinner tonight from my haul today!

Central market….Met up with a woman here once for a date.Told her to dress up, be ready to eat and to dance. When we arrived and walked through the fresh entrance right into the veggie section she asked, “… did you really bring me to a grocery store for a date?”I knew right then it wasn’t going to work out between us.She didn’t get it.She failed that test.Didn’t waste my time, left her in the bread section to enjoy the free samples.Got my beer and went to the patio to enjoy the live music with everyone else. Had a great time.Okay so central market….So many perks and if someone paid me I’d write them all down. But here are the ones most important to me.The beer, wine, cheese, coffee, peanut butter, dip, olive, sparkling water, kombucha, bread, pastry, and fresh food selection is essentially endless. Every department has a specialist who custom orders the items for their respective section of the store. You can make suggestions to the beer guy/gal or cheese guy/gal and expect to see your desired item there on the shelves the following month. The beer & wine. You can grab individual bottles of beer (or wine) from the packs and happily drink anything you buy on the patio or take everything home to enjoy. If you like dark milk stouts look no further than Dragon’s milk. You and your friends will all thank me later. They all do.If you choose to study, there is a clandestine area upstairs with tables and CM welcomes patrons to occupy this space. It’s right next to the huge glass classroom used for cooking classes. See photos for more deats.Do not ! I repeat do not ! … Miss out on the SEASONAL hatch green chili soup (photo included), every bit is worth the cost. The pozole isn’t to shabby for a Mexican’s standards. That’s all I haveMessage me for more protips at this location. It’s a girlfriend/partner litmus test!

I came here today for the gingerbread making class and this was my first time at this Central Market location and I think it’s so neat they have an upstairs dedicated to a cooking school and seating area for people to enjoy. The women hosting the event were so kind and helpful towards making this experience relaxing and festive. Now I have something to admire in my home for this Christmas season. Thank you for this opportunity!

Always love visiting here. Good food, great prices and friendly staff. Occasionally a weird smell on aisle 6. But it could Old Mrs. McCartney who I frequently seem to cross paths with in aisle 6. Weird. I Know.

OMG. This place was an absolute mind shock. It’s bougie, so are the prices, and I’m in love. If you’re looking for cheap bulk food this is NOT the place for you. They have an entire cheese wall featuring cheeses from over 35 countries, handmade fresh bread, artisan muffins, hand made to order pasta. They have a unit with mushrooms you can pick off a damn rock- like indoor foraging. There Olive bar is a quarter of a mile long . Everything is organic, homegrown, grass fed- yadda yadda yadda. My favorite was the refillable dried food area. They have cooking classes and ready made food to pick up. If I could afford it I would set up a tent and live in here forever.

Sampling event was organized and started on time. I enjoyed the selection of food and beverages served by staff. The 4 stars is due to the older woman who was sampling becker red wine around 3:30pm. She was unprofessional when it came to serving wine to certain individuals. Everyone else I encounter was professional and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. There was 6 items on the list that I really enjoyed. Numbers 4, 8, 13 are my top three choices. I circled my favorite 6 on the sampling handout. Many individuals thought the wagyu itself would be included in the sampling event. I finally found it sold as a meal outside for $10.

I am not knowledgeable about wine at all and find the selection very overwhelming. Eric in the wine department was so helpful and helped me pick out 3 wines that my husband and I really loved. I will definitely ask for him the next time I go back!

I love Central Market more than anything else not related to my friends and family. They literally have employees that are “certified foodies.” It’s not a store for everyone at all. If you want to make hamburger helper, skip this place and go to HEB or (ugh) Walmart. If you are a hopeless romantic about food, and want a level of service that transcends what any store should, welcome home.Every good quality of this place starts from the bottom up. The difference between my local HEB and the 20 minute one way trip to Central Market is minimal in some areas. However, everything is up one level. It’s like going from Walmart to HEB. Going to Central Market from HEB is the same step… sort of. Not as drastic though. There isn’t actual websites about people from HEB, and I haven’t seen HEB on WSHH. But, I digress. The green onions are snappier, the garlic is fresher, they actually have things like breakfast radishes, and other small details as having any temperature sensitive produce actually packed in ice.The meat and seafood department has an extraordinary selection. I may be a simple person, but I found out that there are more than one type of edible oyster from a trip to Central Market. The prices of the meat are a little higher than desired, but you are paying a bit more for the service side. Every employee almost seems hand picked to be where they are. The seafood people really actually know what the gender of a lobster does to its flavor. The butchers can actually see the CORRECT label of quality of meat. The bakers actually seem to love their jobs, the manager is almost nutty levels of loving his craft. The guy made little flowers and designs with the bread! It’s art. Side story, (I truly love and cherish my daughter - 17) my daughter asked the bakery attendant what bread was best for a sandwich… I of course saw the ridiculous humor that she didn’t mean to portray, but the person behind the counter actually made a full effort to serve the question as best they could. I make fun of her often for that one, but it still tells a story about how much this place actually does to be comforting to the shoppers. The spices available would make a trader on the Silk Road die of jealousy. The amount of variations of per pound dried goods is mind numbing. I don’t drink coffee or tea, but they have so many varieties, and those aisles smell amazing. Strange candies that would make Wonka jealous, water variety that hydrohomies would go nuts over, and every niche canned food you could imagine. The alcohol section is simply put, a glut. They have people who actually can listen and learn what you want and can pair drinks depending on the items you have in your cart. You tell them that you are making a Niçoise salad, but instead of wine you would like a beer or sparkling wine… they will think and present options. They even go as far as letting you taste test. I never want to abuse that option, but it’s still there. They have growler services even! The deli is spectacular. The Mediterranean lamb is the best meat I have eaten. So, one day after trying the lamb a visit before, I asked the cheese guy (yes, they have a cheese guy) what would be best for my imagined sandwich (basic bread, lamb, tapenade, butter lettuce for crunch, grey poupon, and some thin sliced red onion). I told him that I didn’t want anything too creamy or anything that would either overpower or get lost in the sandwich. He proposed a black pepper white cheddar that had a good and dry funk to it. I tried a piece, and he not only took the very hard to slice piece that was left, but got it perfectly sliced to what I would want.To end this, I once actually had a less than perfect time once. The deli counter person accidentally skipped me (for shame!). I didn’t mind, it was Sunday. But, another deli person saw this, and gave me a huge discount for the perceived transgression. I didn’t need it, and I wouldn’t have cared if it didn’t happen. But, it’s just those little things. There’s more to say, but I have reached my character limit.Love. This. Place.

Ridiculously overpriced and layout is so narrow you get run over by other customers and employees constantly, who which apparently were born without manners. This place is basically a upper class heb. Not realistic for everyone. Only thing I liked was how clean it was
