I have to tell you.... I specifically came here for the 99¢ plants on sale and I was extremely impressed with the selection of plants and the healthiest bunches of plants to choose from. I will not be bothering with my local Atwood's in Denton anymore. The staff here is helpful, kind and a true testament to customer service as well. Definitely get the best selection and service at this location!!!

I love this place for the less expensive soil additives and a variety of seeds from flowers ....really interesting ones!...tons of veggie and seasonal types to a plethora of herbs. Pottery and planters are everything from just your basic plastic style to some really beautiful pottery that's been detailed in designs. Gorgeous array of solar lighting too, but I will say that they are over priced in my opinion because I had gotten 2 from my husband last year and from the beginning one wouldn't come on and then I saw another issue was water had gotten inside....it had the lights inside of a clear lightbulb...which shouldn't have happened if sealed, and by the time it began to warm up I saw that both of the bulbs had busted into pieces. Just saying hang onto your receipt and check the return/refund policy.Regardless I love Atwoods

Nice clean store with friendly staff. The free fresh popcorn helped keep my kids calm during our outing. I did have to track down an employee from the other side of the store with questions about the live poultry and didn't end up finding anyone except the cashiers so I wasn't able to get the ducklings and chicks I had come for. There also didn't seem to be any rabbits available for purchase this time around. I did like the selection of live plants that are well established and even blooming. And the prices are phenomenal.. I'll be back for some red 🍁 maples very soon.. at $25 a piece it's a great deal. And I finally found lemon grass that I have been looking for.

Has everything you need for your home and farm. Awesome clothes line-up. Horse, chicken, and bird feed. An assortment of live baby chicks to choose from. Nice assortment of handguns and rifles to choose from.

This place is large and has a wide variety of product lines. The issue is they rarely have what I need for my livestock. They are either out of stock or don't carry the common product options. Staff has been helpful when I can find one, but they aren't typically on the floor helping customers. Prices are within typical ranges. Selection is the issue most of the time.

Convenient location, SOME knowledgeable associates,Amazing old school candy selections, candy I haven't seen in years! However , ridiculously high prices.Great for the farm and ranch clientele , but it's worth the extra drive time to go to Walmart .The high prices are a sad addition to a pretty cool establishment.

We like Atwood's, because it has a little bit for everyone (farm/agriculture/home & garden/pets & livestock & even clothing).They also carry canning goods, a large variety of candy & beef jerky.

So I really do love this place but today was not a very good day for me at Atwoods. They have free popcorn but I could not get much help today. Looking for one thing and got sent 3 different places in the store. Finally I asked someone sweeping the floor and he told me where they would be. They were out.

Terrible service. The supervisor took great enjoyment, telling me they wouldn't take back My Stihl weeder that cost me $200. After 45 minutes of going back and forth they wouldn't refund it. I have 5 hours on it and it's already rattling like crazy. And I purchased the extended warranty. They said stihl would not back up their product The supervisor seem to get a pretty good laugh out of my misfortune.

Never shopping here or buying a firearm again from this store.. Waited two whole weeks for a background check and finally was able to go pick it up, when i went to go pick it up this old guy was super rude and told me he couldn’t give it to me even though i already paid for it and was told i can come pick it up whenever, my gun was paid for and background check was done they were just holding it because i was out of town. The reason I couldn’t get it was because he said “their count was off on layaways” How is that my fault that you can’t keep your count right so I can’t get my gun. The old guy was very rude and looked like he needed to leave already was in a big rush and just treated everyone at the counter with disrespect. The only reason I’d come back is a great employee in the back named Paul he was super nice and helped me with what I needed but other than that will no longer be shopping at this Atwoods

Great paper towels, best price on 24-packs of purified water, they have some other good things, but discontinued women's Lee jeans & the Wildology cat food kibble bags (<--which was what had us shopping there weekly.) 😔

First time inside. Took home body pillow size popcorn bag. They have lots of clothes,big lawn mowers and bee hive starter kits. Plenty of ranch items to buy. Will be back.

Great stuff. And as a big boy, they have things that fit me. Clothes, boots, belts. And tons of farm and ranch equipment and parts.Sometimes of the year that have live animals. Chickens, ducks, and rabbits .

Update to a current review 12-22-23. I had a family member go into store and purchase a big item for my kids Christmas back on the 14th due to me being gone for work. I went in today and they had (re)sold the item that was already purchased and put back for me.The manager Josh had made phone calls to other locations and located one, then drove to Gainesville store, picked it up and delivered it to my home. To my home people. I understand the screw up bit this man made it right and delivered it to make sure my customer experience and kid's Christmas was right. I appreciate it sir and wish more retailers and people were this way.

This place has about everything you would want from a farm and ranch store. It's a mix between tractor supply and northern tool but bigger!Highly recommended!👍🇨🇱

Shelly Wright in boots and Bret Williamson over seasonal are really great with their customers. Always very helpful and polite. Bret knows his plants with great advice on how to care for them . All the do's and dont do's.. Very informative.. I ask him about everything. The store has lost alot of the pizazz it use to have . staff isnt as motivated or friendly. But these two are great. Ms Shelly a true southern bell. And Bret as charming as they come . Keep up the good work you two. 😊

Its like country Wal-Mart. You can find everything for house, garden or ranch plus lot more. They have Guns working clothes boots, pet supplies and lot more. They have live chicks, we bought three of them. Love this place.

The only reason this store gets 2 stars is because of their prices. If the option existed for Zero stars, their customer service at this location would get that rating. Yesterday evening I went there to buy scratch feed for my chickens. I have 35 chickens and needed bags. I walked into the store, and despite no customers being up front, the staff couldn't even be bothered to greet me. In fact, the cashier turned around and looked at me and got back to giggling and gossiping with her male co-worker. I grab a cart and proceed to the feed section. Every item was fully stocked, except where you would normally find the pallet of fancy scratch was empty. I asked a young male working if there was any of the item that I needed in the back and without even going to look he told me they were all sold out and suggested some wild bird seed that he thought was a similar product. 😅 if I had not been so frustrated and strapped for time, I would have laughed. Instead, I called the Burleson location to ensure they had what I needed (261 in stock) and headed out the door. This is the 3rd time I have had this problem at this location. The last time I insisted, they went to the back because right in plain site a full pallet was sitting there with what I needed. After I left, my husband called Lake Worth to check if they had fancy scratch feed, and he was told they had 224 in stock. HOW ABOUT YOU STOCK THE STORE WITH EMPLOYEES AND TRAIN THEM NOT TO BE LAZY DISRESPECTFUL LIARS?

Saw the latest review and felt both relieved and irritated at the same time. The girls up front make you feel unwelcome the moment you walk into the store and it's not just me! Put those chicks in the back! They can peep with their peers while pulling stock pallets. (hopefully to the salesfloor and not the other way around)
