Our Greyhound was bit by a dog while visiting relatives in Coleman, TX. The vet there stitched up the wound and we headed towards home in our RV stopping in Ft. Stockton that first night. Next morning we wake up to find the stitches had torn out. Since we weren’t going to be able to see our vet till the next day we called Animal Medical Clinic and they were able to get us in just 45 minutes later. The staff was so nice and caring which really helped calm our fears. Dr. Fish examined our baby and told us we were better off to leave the wound open and let it dry out than to have it stitched again. He put antibiotic ointment on it and we were on our way. And, unbelievably, they didn’t even charge us. I would highly recommend this caring team of veterinarian professionals.PS When we did get our hound into our vet, he totally agreed with Dr. Fish’s recommendation.

Always so helpful and friendly. Everyone genuinely cares about your pets and will work tirelessly to find solutions to any problems that arise. Large staff of highly trained individuals who are patient and kind with animals. Rooms are clean, disinfected, and orderly. Dr. Fish has been practicing for decades and has a wealth of knowledge and compassion he provides to this community. Affordable rates and speedy appointments contribute to this being an absolute asset to Fort Stockton.

What do you do when your dogs rabies vaccine just expired and you are on the way to Carlsbad Caverns?? You call Dr. Fish. They were wonderful. They fit us in, gave our dog a checkup, and a rabies vaccine. Great people. Highly recommend.

Dr. Fish & his staff are awesome! Six years ago I had to put my 16 year old Jack Russell down. The staff was wonderful & so compasionate during that difficult time. We now have a 6 month old Yorkie and we wont trust anyone but Dr. Fish & his staff to take care of her. The staff is professional the facility is clean and they love animals.

My little Yorkie decided to chew some sugar free gum going down I20. We decided to stop in Ft Stockton and get him checked over and see what to do. Dr. Fish and his staff were great. Got him to throw up gum to be on the safe side and we were back on the road feeling we did the safest thing to make sure he had no reactions to it while going down the road !

I tried to make an appointment for my sick cat. I called 4 times they never returned my call and they never answered their phone. So it doesn't seem like they care much about sick animals. I took my cat with me to Arizona and went to my own vet over there and it turned out it was a good thing I did that because she was quite sick. I'm happy to say that she's fine now but certainly no thanks to any of these vets in Fort Stockton, But especially this place. At least the other place called me back and we just couldn't get it together. I wouldn't take a dead animal to this place.

Cannot go inside clinic - have to have pet in carrier and hand over to assistant outside. When finished assistant brings bill to pay and hands over pet outside.They do procedures to pet without asking first.

They got me in the next day and were quick to get me and my pup in the exam room. The vet was very nice and you can tell he was very experienced! The prices were very good as far as vet bills go! DEFINITELY THE BEST IN FORT STOCKTON

Past grateful and thankful for Dr. Fish and his staff!! We are traveling and our little 11 yr old Chihuahua was showing signs that we didn’t understand. He recently had a shot so we thought he was just sore.Well today he is in pain! We called every vet along our way with answers of “sorry”Than we found Animal Medical Clinic.Yet even during a day of surgeries he found time for us and answered our questions and has augie on the road to recovery!! Now we’re back on the road feeling blessed. Thank you all for your love and passion for our fur baby.

Dr. Hill and his staff are wonderful and the girls working in the back with him are very caring and kind. We’ve used him to my paralysed pug had be put down and they were so caring and let her go with complete dignity. A few days later were able to pick up her urn and ashes. Most recently my Boston Terrier had a bad ear problem and we found out she had a ruptured eardrum and very large hematima that covered her entire ear. She did great thru surgery and is resting well at home.

We kenneled our pit bull when we were staying two nights at Big Bend National Park. The staff here were super sweet to our scaredy-cat. I think it was also our dog's first time around non-"city" animals... He was super intrigued by the horses, mules, and livestock that were here.

Took my baby right in and tended to her illness to a certain degree ,never got a straight answer on why my dog was close to her death bed, sent her home dehydrated and still passing blood. Very expensive for less than 48 hours, over $1000.00
