Nice little Cottages located right off of the main street (State Street). Self contained cottage with mini-fridge, microwave, mini coffee pot, fireplace, kingsize bed, 1 bath with hair dryer, Nice courtyard with a BBQ pit. We enjoyed our stay as we visited Historic Fort Davis National site (2 miles away) and McDonald Observatory (17 miles away).

This is a wonderful, relaxing, and very comfortable place to stay in when you are in Fort Davis! The extremely helpful and kind people that work and run the Butterfield Inn are AMAZING! Jennifer and Adriana treated us like family! It was snowing when we had planned to drive to Fort Davis and we had planned to stay at the State Park, in hammocks, but we wanted to make a change and stay somewhere that had more shelter. I had talk to Jennifer earlier that morning and all the rooms were booked up. But she was incredibly helpful when a cancellation happened, and we were able to book a room and spend the snowy night in a very warm and cozy cabin! Adriana was very kind to call us and check on us as we were driving in the snow, and kept in contact with us to make sure we made it to our cabin safely. My husband and I are definitely customers for life!!!

Incredibly clean & perfect little cottages with all the amenities! Dog friendly (with cleaning fee) and right on Main Street. Perfect to hike to Ft Davis, then up and into to the back side of Davis Mountains SP. Walk across the street to the coffee shop for breakfast or Blue Mountain for dinner. Simple online contactless check in process.

Room was fine for an overnight stay. Mini fridge was very small. You need to bring your own food because finding an open restaurant can be impossible depending on the time and day. We drove 25 miles just to get an edible meal. The room was quiet.

Beautiful decor in our room!! Me and my boyfriend stayed in cottage 3. Oh also I appreciate that they are a pet friendly place which is awesome lol. We arrived at about 10:30 pm and we were all set up ready to go it was perfect and the area in between so the cottages is sooo cute! There are a bunch of tables and corn hole boards lol. We’re definitely coming back again 10/10 recommend.

We stayed one night in Cottage 2 and it was just as it looks in the pictures. I'm a real estate agent and am always worried the pictures are better than real life - but not in this case. It was an adorable, clean and well equipt place. It was very quiet, the AC worked great, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot - all things important to me. You can't beat the stay for the price. I would definitely stay again!The only thing that was difficult had nothing to do with the hotel but Ft. Davis. The hours of places to eat and drink, sightseeing and retails itself were very limited. If you go to Ft. Davis, pack some food! Either the restaurants weren't open or closed at 9. The coffee shop across the street didn't open until noon. None of that will deter me from returning, it's just a PSA in case you are expecting big city amenities and hours.
