Best commissary around for people like me who want a low key less busy option to other grocery stores. Most employees are friendly and helpful. They do however run out of certain meats (especially chicken) on occasion. Some items take a while to be restocked when out but if you can deal with that, this place is very nice and easy to access if you live near the east side of Fort Cavazos.

I make it a routine to shop @ the Warrior Way Commissary ON PURPOSE @ least 4x week just because of the QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE provided upon entry. I especially love the the choices of Clearance items displayed, Willingness to assist customers by the Staff and a SMILE while being informative of upcoming events such as the Sidewalk Sale. I prefer shopping at this location rather than Clear Creek for these very reasons!! It's an Honor, Privilege and Joy in knowing that upon entry and exit I am apart of a Family oriented environment that ensures Soldiers, Family members and Retired Veterans are Greatly Appreciated for their Service to our greatful nation. I personally want to thank the entire staff for being the support system for Veterans!! I SALUTE YOU!! God Bless you and your families!!

Always quiet and an easy place to pick up quick groceries if you're on post. Everything is well stocked and prices are fair. The staff is pretty quiet, but friendly when approached for assistance or checking out.

Great place to shop on post, they carry a lot of the same stuff you'd find at Wal-Mart although it's closer to something like HEB. They do have some laundry and cleaning supplies but they don't carry any electronics like Wal-Mart. If you're looking for groceries then you'll most likely save some money here. It's tax free since its on base and they have a lot of coupons you can use. This is the smaller Commissary of the two on post but it still offers a good selection of stuff. It's usually less packed than the other one and it's more out of the way of traffic. I've been here numerous times and it's kept clean and tidy inside. The only thing I'd watch out for is the the expiration date, some of the food is expired so make sure to check before you buy it. Other than that they have great friendly service inside, not a bad place to shop.

This place is garbage. I asked an employee to give me the price of water and she told me to find out by myself because she doesn't know it(lady on the right). On the chesses are molded but the employees like nothing, just seated looking at their phones. Lazy people that don't deserve this job.Is incredible that way after a month of the picture the same cheese was still in the same place. The manager and the employees of this place are nasty.

I go here most days of the week, prices are generally better than anywhere off post. Selection is good enough, it's never crowded, and checkout is simple. Staff is kind of snotty but that's part of the charm. The deli sandwich counter staff are wonderful and they make great sandwiches, I get one from there once a week.

Wonderful location, not very crowded, and a super friendly staff.The click2go app is great and makes for very convenient shopping. But never, and I mean NEVER use the pay in store option for click2go. Learn from my mistake, NEVER. But the pay with card option in the app is delightful.

Quick and easy in and out. There were no lines and had everything I was looking for. The only thing is like water only had 24 count packages. The surcharge to me is high. You need to know when the gate is open or closed to go around to get in and out.

This store is always well stocked unless it’s military pay day and then some items may be low or out of stock but everyone who shops here should know to expect that. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I would not consider the store to be “run down” just because it is not a brand new facility. I have been in Killeen since 2009 and both Commissaries were in operation at that time. Both of them are well maintained and clean. The Commissary on Clear Creek is bigger but it is also much busier than the one on Warrior Way so I prefer Warrior Way since it’s not as hectic and less likely to run out of items I may wish to purchase. The staff is also friendlier at Warrior Way :-D

A very nice, clean, and well-stocked commissary! A no-stress shopping experience for me. Baggers need to be better trained on proper bagging i.e. cold items in cold bags and no bag so heavy that they cannot even lift it!

This is one of two commissaries on Fort Hood, and is the better of the two. Since the Clear Creek Commissary is across from the Post Exchange, the post tries to promote it and leaves Warrior Way Commissary to wither (it only shows up on Google maps if you type the name in specifically, but doesn't show up if you type in "AAFES" or "Commissary").A few great things here: 1. The layout of this location is superior, and the lines (partially due to what's stated above) are much shorter here than at HEB or at Clear Creek. 2. The bakery makes sandwiches to order that rival Subway, but are cheaper. 3. The personnel in the meat department are actually knowledgeable on cuts of meat. 4. There's a sushi department that makes fresh dishes to go. 5. They're pretty responsive with products; if they don't have something, you can request it and they'll usually get it within a couple of weeks. 6. If you've been stationed in Europe, you'll find some familiar brands from Germany and Italy.You can access the WW Commissary from the Fort Hood Street gate, or via the Warrior Way / W.S. Young gate.

A great place to shop for poultry but not produce. Is not crowded and lots of parking. They have 2 self checkouts located on each end and cashiers are on the middle. Prices are good and the store is always clean.

Clean facility with nice staff. 5 stars if they the had any rotisserie chickens remaining. However deli staff was remarkable. The meat dept rep even made us aware of half price chickens!! Never seen nothing like it and Ive been into 7 commissary in 3 countries.

I always go when I can for savings. It's clean and easy to roll through the aisles🐌😁I appreciate the service. One time I really needed 8 cans of sauerkraut. I was in line already and one cashier went and found it for me in the back as it was late. But I was 😊 thanks to all!

It's unfortunate that people who have the privilege of shopping here do not use the store very often. Of course not ALL items are cheaper here than stores off base. The fact that all goods coming into the commissary are inspected by onsite food inspectors is enough to gain my trust and patronage. Many people are not aware of the stringent tests and inspections commissary goods go through before reaching the store shelves. This layer of protection helps me feel more confident in making my purchases.The customer must still be vigilant - as in any store to check expiration dates to ensure freshness and quality. Most employees are generally friendly and ready to help.On some occasions I shop off base, but my preference is shopping at one of the two CLEAN commissaries at Fort Hood.

The meat department is where money is saved. Most grocery items are priced similar to those at local supermarkets. Yet, some of the savings is eroded by the ladies at the end of the checkout counter grabbing your sacks or basket to carry them to your car. Doesn't matter if it's a small sack or two, doesn't matter if the man can easily carry the items....you have to insist that you can carry them yourself. It would be more pleasant and proper if they asked if I/we needed assistance before heading for the door with my items. It is annoying enough, that I seldom go to the commissary....for that reason only. This is a given for the commissary. HEB or local grocery stores are much more courteous and closer..

It's a good commissary! I found everything I needed pretty quickly. It's well organized, they have a huge selection, and good prices. Friendly staff too. Also the deli has the best sandwiches in town

Saw a sale on cat litter... reg $5.99 on sale for $3.00. Hey... good deal right? Well i took 6 bags to the register and it rang up $37.00 and the cashier took the sign the COMMISSARY POSTED on the bag to the manager and they said that sale ended last week....mind you this is the middle of the week after, sign is still up and they wouldnt honor it even though it was still posted. If you the manager and can instantly say the sale ended without missing a beat why leave the sign up?Cashier was very helpful and even put the bags back for me.

Awesome as always. We buy 80% of our groceries here. HEB still has a better selection of vegetables and fresh seafood, but the price for everything else can't be beat.

First time at Warrior Way Commissary today and I love it. The store is so spacious and clean and has a wonderful variety in every department. An easy drive with ample parking. Helpful and friendly personnel. Will definitely go back.

I am retired and don’t come on the base much. That was until I stopped back into the commissary a month and a half ago and saw those prices. I truly could not believe how much cheaper almost everything I normally buy was. I’ve been back to the commissary every week since then. As the price of goods go up because of inflation I need every dime I can get. I love it.

I really enjoyed shopping here, everything was stocked excellently from the vegetable to the meats. I am giving a 3 star rating solely on the fact of the cashiers services every time I come in. It seems to me that that they don't like their job, aslo I hope I'm not the only one who finds it strange that the baggers can be tipped...

Very clean and more organized than the other commmissary over on Clear Creek. A little under staffed but it normally doesn't get so busy. And also a little weird that it's only closed on Wednesday but a lot of things are cheaper than Walmart or HEB. So definitely shop there if you're able to.

I really want to love the commissary, but I just don’t get it. The deli specials are priced well and the sushi selection is pretty cool. Sometimes they have some good international selections, and the meat is usually priced well. But they can’t really compete with H‑E‑B or other grocery stores in the area which have lower prices for the same or better selections. I came here to order a cake, but apparently the only commissary that does cakes is the main one on Clear Creek. I waited 10 mins for someone to show up at the counter and tell me that.. so I wasted a lot of time parking a long ways off, getting the baby situated in the carrier, and masking up, not to mention getting my ID out at the front door just to be told to turn around and do it all again at the other commissary.As far as commissaries go, this one isn’t bad, I just didn’t think it was worth the trip (we live off post).
