Great place to do some shopping or grab a quick lunch if you're located on this side of the installation. Slightly smaller than the one located on clear creek but similarly stocked.

A good place to shop. You can save sometimes up to 30% on groceries. However shopping at the commissary can be a Yes and No answer to the question (Is it cheaper to shop at the commissary or at civilian grocery store? Items here and off post can be the same price or less and vice versa. So for me I like shopping both places but prefer my favorite store HEB of course. It's closer.

I love going to this commissary it's always so clean and put together. I don't have to worry about it being super busy, when I go it's an in and out trip all the time. The only downside is they don't have all of the same products as the bigger one on clear creek but I'm okay with that.

Prices are on the rise. But always a great shopping experience. They need to find better deals in the produce department . They have water melons for 7.49 right now. I can get 2 for that price at Walmart

Always easy shopping as there is never a crowd. It is especially nice when I am able to bag and carry my own groceries. Meat department is top notch , it is the main reason we shop there. Groceries are priced virtually the same as local supermarkets, but saving the tax on non-grocery items is helpful. If you are able to carry your own groceries, you will save a little more.

My go to commissary now, and when we used to live on-post. The prices are always very good compared to the off-post prices. This is also the only place that has Calrose rice, a must have for a true Kanakamaoli:)

Very nice place to buy groceries on your way home especially if your going out the gate. It has never been busy/crowded in the year and a half I've been here except during an announcement of a storm. Staff is friendly as well and welcoming.

Always love my on post shopping it doesn't have a lot of over crowded isles or to many people. Prices are very reasonable for military families and people are always helpful and friendly

The produce is never fresh and the prices are ok. If you do self checkout make sure you keep your receipt. I scanned my rewards card so the receipt was emailed to me and I was held hostage until I could prove I bought a Pepsi and day old sushi.

The cashiers are very helpful and friendly. The store is always clean. I like shopping here because there's no long wait time. They usually have all I need even with shortage delimma. I only shop here.

Some how this one is better than the other one. I love how they put coupons next to the items because I can never get my rewards card to apply the coupons online.

Shopping Carts are never retrieved from the parking lot until the holding area get full.Sanitation wipes are empty almost every time I enter the Facility.Food Selection is ok and prices are so so... depending on the expiration date but customer service is the worst I've experienced in any grocery store.

Of the 2 commissaries on Fort Hood, I think this is the better one. It never seems to be busy, leading it to be better stocked. That, in my book, is a 5 star.
