The deli is hit or miss. When the chicken is fresh it’s amazing. When it’s not it’s hard and it’s dry. When you see a few pieces left and you ask when they will be cooking another batch the employees seem to have no clue. All products on a steam table have an expiration time, this comes with any food safety. There should be some form of recorded when it was pulled. The product can not just sit until it’s sold. So I have to ask why your employees have no idea when they will be cooking again? Is the motto “it’s not old til it’s sold” fully enforced at this location. And why are your employees so dismissive and rude to a customer when they are asked?

This place is always clean. They take great care to provide customers with a safe environment during these pandemic times. They do a great job of keeping the store looking nice, with plenty of variety stocked most of the time. This is my local neighborhood grocery and one of my favorite places to visit.

The sushi lady, Asi is wonderful. She made me a fresh sushi box when they were out of a common one I get. She also tracked me down one day when the store was slow to replace a sushi box that was at date for a fresh one.

I don’t believe I’ve ever let a review on any business before, but the treatment I had at Tom Thumb was simply unacceptable. The cashiers were alright, mostly comprised of young kids who can’t control the fact that their systems are incredibly dated and never pull out the right prices. But my god, the customer service rep is so rude! She was extremely uninterested in my problems and every time I come to her it’s always a fight trying to rightfully get my money back. It’s not like im pulling these deals out of nowhere, I clipped them on the app! On top of that, she was very slow and I wasted so much time. It’s not like this happens every time, but when it does it certainly ruins my day.

Tom Thumb has great sales but priced a little higher than other places on most other things. Therefore I clipped the “for u” deals and get great prices on many products. Last week while I was checking out, I informed the cashier that the for u deals weren’t being taken off, in which she replied that the prices were correct and if I had questions to talk to the customer service AFTER I pay the bill. I asked the cashier if the coupons will be taken off at the end, in which she replied “no the prices are correct, your total is $181. 34” so I paid and looked at my receipt…. none of those deals were taken off, so here I had to go to the customer service and go through every one while my ice-cream was melting. The “customer service” employee made me go through the receipt while rolling her eyes and sighing. After 10 minutes of melting ice cream finally just left extremely frustrated and vowing to NEVER shop Tom Thumb again! After I got home, I did the calculations, and I was overcharged $43. Moral of this story was clipped for u coupons are to get you into the store and then charge you full price!

Always clean outside and inside of the Store. Employees are also very nice, look happy and willing to assist Customers. Produce always looks Farm fresh and plentiful. Meat/Seafood Departments never has a stinch. Shelves stay stocked nicely and dust free.

So expensive. Go to Aldi instead, at least you won’t pay $6 for brown/ rotting strawberries as soon as I got home. So gross.And they threw all of their pumpkins in a massive pile that are rotting outside. No organization just a lazy way to store them. go to Market Street and enjoy a nice set up without the feeling like you’re going to some trashy place that can’t be bothered to display them nicely.

The store is clean, organized and has an ATM, pharmacy, quest for labs, florist shop, abundance of produce and Starbucks. Of course, like any other store, there's an item or two that they do not carry. Overall.. 4.5 stars

Anytime I travel the 5 minutes to get dinner, I also most of the time get groceries too. The employees are super nice with many options. The feel of the store is great too. All the employees scan fast with a nice conversation. The produce seems very fresh and many things available too.

Great selection of grocery items. Meat department is outstanding. Only issue I have is their dependence on self checkout versus traditional checkout Lanes. Personally I feel at heir price point service beyond a Walmart level is expected yet not delivered.

Switched my pharmacy location from Walgreens to here and am so so happy I did. Always been a shopping customer of Tom thumb for groceries and loved it then, but now I'm so happy to be a pharmacy customer. Amazing customer services and super friendly interactions everytime. Love it. Great job on your staffs professionalism and customer service.

Tom Thumb used to be the best grocery store in town. They had the best selection and the best service plus nice stores. Now the selection is gone and the service stinks. All we're left with is high prices. Hard pass.

I like Tom Thumb, but they are more expensive than other grocery stores.Rarely do I shop Tom Thumb. My go-to stores are Aldi, Market Street, and Kroger--sometimes Winco. Those stores are farther away, though I like their pricing, selections, and guarantees.Tom Thumb isn't bad, but their prices do have me shopping elsewhere.

This Tom Thumb location definitely needs to hire an associate in the Floral dept. Who is happy and with an accommodating attitude! I will be very surprise if I am the first customer to complain about their present employee!, who seemed to always be absent in the dept. whenever I’m at this location to shop.She had to be paged overhead twice and once she finally appeared, she gave me this attitude as if I was bothering her! Another staff member was observant enough to notice my dismay and offered if there was anything she could do to alleviate my anger.I proceeded to just get what I needed and leave asap but Mr. Hope/Store Director searched for me and apologized. All other staff members in other depts are courteous, but this one in the floral dept.is not a happy camper!

Great customer service!!!!!!!! The kid looked a little young to be working in that position but he did a great job assisting me!!!! I usually use drive up and go and that young man named josh is always so kind, but this time I had to go inside real quick and the associates were soooooooooo helpful!! Legendary customer service!!!!!!!

A lifesaver! The pharmacy was open until 9pm which really helped us out and we got what we needed. The produce was fresh and we got our usual milk eggs and cheese for tomorrow's breakfast. Great prices and they had someone at the checkout so we didn't need to use the silly self checkout thing. Really happy. Only wish that the inside Starbucks stand was open but they have closed for the night. 5 star place. Thank you

I worked here about 8 years ago as the dairy manager (and 7.5 years prior), if any of y'all are still here, Phil misses ya :D Thought I'd say "Hi!" I was here back in Oakes, Brown, and Richard days (and before). Really miss the atmosphere this store had, was definitely a nice culture us employees had. After moving I worked in a store rolling almost $1mill/wk in sales (during Covid hysteria)...ya no, y'all don't want to experience that!

Not impressed. Prices are okay - not terrible if you get the store brand. Rotisserie chicken price was high, so I got a 12 piece fried chicken instead.I had to ask the clerk not to give me 4 wings. The chicken was NOT GOOD. It was so old, then chicken legs had turned to jerky - dry and hard. I'm glad we didn't get sick!!
