The complained about my 1 year old mini poodle because he isn't completely used to the grooming process and I'm guessing the just got annoyed with him and didn't bother to brush him out and they just buzzed him all over and left him looking like a little naked rat. I'm very upset with the condescending way the groomer talked to me and how she left my dog looking after paying $120.00 for a 30 min job. Never taking my dog here again, and you should definitely find somewhere else too if you want a quality job.

Never going back.They nearly doubled their price with zero warning. I'm fine with growing prices, but communication in business is king and this business does not understand some of the basics.They also did not finish the job. They clipped one paw and said they felt unsafe finishing. No other groomer has ever felt unsafe or complained. Talk about unprofessional. If you are in the dog business, you really should understand how to do your job and if you can't don't charge full price.I'll take a 15 minute drive to go elsewhere where our business is appreciated and the job is completed.

I hate to leave this review as small business owner; but I want to warn other dog owners about this groomers lack customer service or care for the dogs they groom). Booked my pup for a haircut today and we get there, I’m greeted by two women. The one asked (I assume was Summer the groomer we were booked with —she didn’t introduce herself) me what we are doing and as I try to tell her she raised her voice to talk over me telling me what I am doing wrong, I’m like I’m aware that’s why I am telling you the situation and why I’m here. She continues telling me “oh no our clippers are different blah blah”- yes, I’m aware they are —again why I’m freaking here! If you don’t want to know about my dog and the situation as we have never been to this woman then don’t ask. I felt unwelcome and the girl seemed too busy being a know it all and talking down to me—I decided to leave— I was not leaving my dog with these people. I should have known when my little guy fought me as he didn’t want to go there, and he usually isn’t like that as he has been getting groomed his whole life. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy being spoken down to, and groomers who are absolutely not interested in their customers needs.

Never ever going back here. They ripped me off for my dog’s grooming. Arbitrarily decided to change policies and charged late fees and increased the services charge. What used to be 115 with gratuity ended up being 162 without even gratuity. Very disappointed and the front office person had more than one opportunity to explain these changes but conveniently chose the last minute. No question asked about whether the reason for being lte was genuine or not. I would rather donate money to charity rather than pay for such nebulous policies.

The staff at HipPups takes great care of our pup, Poppy Sue! They always make us feel like they love to work with her and they try to groom her as requested.Just like with a salon for myself, the best results come when a relationship is maintained and communication with the stylist is open and kind. I am particular about Poppy’s cut, and they always graciously receive my modification requests if I make them. I also appreciate that when Poppy was scheduled for a cut with a new employee, the owner herself assisted and instructed through the process to ensure we were taken care of while her employee had the chance to learn.In addition, I appreciate that my dog goes through the entire grooming process with one stylist. There is no assembly line with dogs waiting in kennels in between the bath/blow dryer/cut. Poppy is in and out under 2 hours. For our anxious dog, this is perfect!

Best grooming experience ever! From the minute we walked in, we where greeted and taken care off. Natalie was wonderful, I absolutely loved the service and best part of it all they gave my corgi the famous “Corgi Butt”! Love it and definitely coming back!

If you have a Great Pyrenees or breed with an undercoat, you need to make an appointment. We came out of necessity for my outside Pyr who suffers summer allergies and needed a good bath and trim to keep his skin clean. Excellent job! Removed mats around the nether regions I just couldn't manage. Then, we brought our super furry female Pyr and WOW! did they give her relief for the summer while keeping her protective coat intact. My dog Molly's nails had become very overgrown and sensitive making cutting them a difficult issue, Julia was able to meet my dog, calm her down and get them trimmed with impeccable time and quality, giving Molly her mobility back. I would recommend HipPups to others

This is under new management... do not go. Actually had the nerve to shave a zig zag into my dog's chest as a "joke" I guess. Butchered her beautiful long tail. Called to complain and the owner acted as if I didn't know my own dog and what I was talking about.

Hip pups was referred to me by a client. I am so happy I switched, the other place would have me drop off and I wouldn’t be called till 5 hours later. Hip pups said it’s one groomer per dog, so both dogs were started when they were dropped off and finished in an hour for deshedding bath and blow dry. The husky has been to the groomers and they said he did great, so did they German Shepard who normally gets a hose in the back yard because I thought with her high anxiety she wouldn’t let them groom her. Thank you for being so awesome to my sweet hank and koey! We will 100% be back!

Last time the complete shave my dog without calling to let me know. Now, i was going to be 5 minutes pass 9:15 and they want to cancel the appointment and charge me $25 no show fee. They just lost a customer that have been with them for over 2 years.

Always had the best service from knowledgeable and friendly staff at the Nosey Dog, and was hoping for the same when they changed management, but sadly, although we were happy with our 1st grooming, everyone since has been disappointing. They can't seem to follow simple instructions and get aggravated when you point out mistakes or show disapproval. The Manager did call to apologize for her employee's rude and unprofessional behavior though, and she also refunded me in full, which I appreciate. Hopefully things will improve from here on out.

Nosey dog is my favorite local grooming place to take our dogs. They don't keep your dog locked up in a kennel for hours at a time until they get to them. They actually start working on them when you bring them in and call you when they're done. Every cut we've had with them has looked great. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They're all very nice to the animals.

Yesterday was our dog's first appointment there, and we will definitely be back. We wanted a shorter cut for him, since we're getting into the hot summer months - he came out looking awesome and smelling amazing! All of the ladies were very nice, and he did not seem stressed out like he usually does when he comes back from the PetSmart groomers. Cage-free, friendly, and a great job!

Our last two experiences with this location have been terrible. The staff is inexperienced and unwilling to work with senior pets. They refused to do a standard sanitary clip claiming mats too close to skin, but we had to end up doing it ourselves because they refused to work on our senior dog. As a former vet tech, I have seen severely matted dogs, and this was nowhere close to that. We were able to shave her ourselves in under 10 minutes, where they would not even touch her. Poor customer service. Will not be returning.

Their must be new ownership. I took my dog in and even though I showed them a picture of her I that i wanted her to look, they still botched it. She had knots underneath her arms and belly her tail was shaped like a Dr Seuss character and her nails were not cut as they had stated. Even my vet said I shouldn't take her back

I was having trouble figuring out what Groomer to take my new puppy to. It seems every place has at least one pretty bad review that made me hesitant. I chose The Nosey Dog because I had heard of them after the work they did helping out with the puppy mill maltese that were dumped.I am a new dog owner, first time having one, so learning as I go. They were very friendly and very helpful in providing useful information on how to get my puppy groomed and tips on taking care of him. I got a lot of knowledge on the different food types and several other useful tips.I think what made me feel most comfortable is that everyone who worked there seemed to have their own dogs as well, so it made me feel like they knew what questions I may have and could provide the comfort needed to leave my puppy in their hands.I thought they did a great job and will be returning.

I have taken 1 of my dogs there for 3 years and they do a great job. I then got a puppy that is the same breed as my older one and a new girl did her first cut I was definitely not happy with the out come. Then I decided to give it another chance the owner was not there that day I called after 3 hours and I got sent to voicemail. Then a girl called me back and said yea they have been done. I walk in my dogs started barking I heard a lady say in a stern loud voice tell my dog to shut up. Then I look at the cut after I paid $200 and they literally shaved everything even her tail. I asked what in the world happened? The groomer heard me asking what happened and why does my dog not have a tail left she stated it was to matted and literally did not care. For me to spend that kind of money and have a bad customer experience is unacceptable.

I would recommend the Nosey Dog Salon to anyone! Nykole treats each dog with so much care. Not only is she quick but she also pays great attention to detail. My schnauzer gets the very best hair cuts from her. I trust them with my pup over any other groomer. Thanks, Nosey Dog Salon!

Hi. The groomer did a terrible job on our Wheaten Terrier and did not follow instructions notwithstanding our showing the groomer a picture of the coat length/style we wanted. I was shocked when I picked my dog up and found her shaven down completely (we had requested the groomer to leave approximately 2 inches of her coat). When the groomer saw my shock, she simply said our dog was matted so she shaved her. I can t believe she made that unilateral decision without consulting with me first...would have been very easy to call me. Note that we keep our Wheaten well maintained and the only matting she had was the result of us not brushing her for the last week since she had a groomer s appointment pending. I am not one to write negative reviews on businesses but I felt I should in this case to provide fair warning for others considering taking their dog to this groomer. Unless you are looking for a straight forward shave, be careful taking your pet to The Nosey Dog.

Most of the reviews i read are old. This place used to be wonderful. I took my dog there since they opened the place, they used to have great groomers that they did an amazing job. Now that they are under new ownership is horrible. They did a terrible job with my dog even though i showed the groomer a picture of how i wanted her. The groomer was so rude with me when i complained about it and she practically kicked me out of the salon. Never go to this place!

I have taken my 2 Yorkie's there on 2 separate occasions.Occasion 1 - My older yorkie who is 5 came back to us with an Ear Infection due to having water left in his ears after the grooming and bath.. Not a big deal but I did have to go to the vet that day for an exam, meds, etc... So on top of the 100 dollar visit to the groomer i have another 150 on top of that at the Vet.Occasion 2 - My youngest Yorki was just in there a week ago for the full work up. Shave, Bath, Claws, etc.... They forgot or missed to clip my dogs DuClaw. Well 1 week after she of course hit it on something or got it caught and is now ( as we are speaking ) was put to sleep for a minor surgery to cut the DuClaw way back as it split back up to her skin and they could not get her while she was awake as it caused her to much pain. Now I know accidents happen and no one could predict that but if they would have trimmed the claws down properly the first time we would not be going through this and spending 250+ dollars at the vet.So 2 visits to this place cost me 200 dollars + i gave them about a 20 dollar tip each time.On top of that I now have almost 400 dollars in vet bills thanks to the Groomer.They are nice enough people and seem to mean well but I am not a please customer and will not be going back.I just called up there to let them know what had happened and the best response they could tell me was they would put a note in my file.... as far as im concerned you can throw my file away

Amateurs. Took the dog in for grooming on the recommendation of a friend. The dog came out with a grooming job that looked like it was done a by a 5 year old. Uneven, half done and all around horrible looking. The worst part was the cuts on my dogs ears and belly. When confronted they were arrogant and would not take ownership of their screw up. STAY AWAY if you love your pet.
