I always buy this brand at HEB its affordable there but the selection is limited to regular and jalapeno. What I like most is the texture of the sausage, i dunno why it seems kinda coarse but not so much so, I also like the snap of the casing and the flavor j also like that it is not some generic shape it looks irregular like a sausage made by hand. What I dont like or think I don't like it's kinda dry like it could use a tad more fat bit that could be due to how I cook it, I smoke it for about an hour on my smoker while I make my other meats with hickory wood, but it's my preferred sausage over opas and kielbasa brands.

V&V make the BEST beef sausage available. HEB doesn't have the beef sausage. The only place I have found the beef sausage is at the Walmart in Castroville, TX. Do we have walk in sales in Flatinia?

My father had a barbque restaurant, Sammy Walker's Bar-B-Que, for nearly all my life. We served V&V sausage. I have never tasted a better sausage in any bbq joint since. I need to find where I can buy this for personal use now.

There sausage is delicious , I want to visit there store one day , they sell at HEB there all beef sausage and it's been used in gumbo , grilled , and when I make boils with crawfish and potatoes and mushrooms and crab , simply the best

My wife uses the sausage in her gumbo and slices it into bite size pieces so you get a taste in every bite, delicious!!
