We came down to Flatonia because they said they had some antique store. We found no such thing. We did, however, find The Market.This was a great store. Everything you could possibly need with a few things you never knew you needed. I loved that it wasn't the brands that you could find in Walmart. The wine and beer selection was amazing. Lots of German wine. They also have a butcher!When you come down, plan on spending a good amount of time just looking at all the different options.

Really cool speciality & gourmet & everyday foods store. Fresh produce, packaged items, drinks, meats… Delightful small family business. Has some Texas wine, too.

I have now shopped several times and every single time, I end up purchasing something that is expired. I loved this store at first as they have several brands I love and can't get at HEB. However, I just can't trust that anything is fresh. I've had chips, daves killer bagels, frozen pizza, oatmilk and Mac and cheese that were all past the expiration date. I'm not trying to bash this store, as I wish I could support them, but feel for everyone's health and frustration, I should post this warning. Check expiration dates on EVERYTHING you purchase from here. Such a bummer.

This store is a treasure to find in a small town! They have unique products, fresh produce and a meat counter. I would recommend coming in to take a look around and grab a few things!

Always inspired by the selection of foods available. Obsessed with Michaels of Brooklyns Arrabbiata Sauce, Bacon wrapped Quail, Pecan Brittle, the entire cheese, wine and sausage selection and Elderberry Tonic Water which makes the best Ranch Water even with out the lime.The pasta selection is one of the best, we try something different every visit. My evening project. Giant stuffed Pasta di semola di grano duro!

Cindy is awesome and we are lucky to have her in Flatonia! It’s like we have our own little Whole Foods, but family owned. They have almost anything organic you could ever want. Highly recommend!

The Market is a treasure! Fantastic selection of gourmet foods with fresh, local produce and a wonderful meat/deli selection, very nice gifts and a great liquor store adjacent. If you’re even driving through Flatonia, a visit here is well-worth hopping off I-10. I love this place! ❤️

Great market for fresh vegetables and local fare. Very clean store with very friendly staff. They offer some very tasty and unique food from local farms and shops. This place is definitely worth a visit or become a regular if you live in the area.

To reply: having moldy cheesecake sitting underneath an okay cheesecake makes me believe you do not check your items. We go in every week to do the lunch thing with the kids and it is in fact the same cake slices. Your response clearly shows you just wanted to get in your two cents and not to actually handle the situation of old food in your store. I will further prepare myself to take photos next time. Also you reply shows that the prepared food is not handled or refrigerated correctly. 10 days of expiration for a sliced cake is far too long.8/7/2021 *Last three times I've come in here the drinks the kids keeping picking out are expired. (tea, Dr pepper( my apologies it was Coke), and chocolate milk) The cake slices are the same slices from weeks ago. We were picking up the cheesecake by the cake slices this afternoon and the one underneath it had mold growing on it everywhere so we put back everything. I let the "bagger" know about it so maybe they will go through their bakery type items and get rid of the old food products.2 years ago review: Very convenient. It was quite a surprise the first time I went in, I did not realize how big it was! Nice selection of vegetables and meat. Everyone is always nice and helpful.

This place is amazing, better prices than HEB, and a true Mom and Pop operation. Great meat selection, tons of organic, vegan, gluten free, and keto options for those looking for a diverse range of products to fit into their dietary needs. They also support local businesses/brands. The owners are amazing, and very knowledgeable. They literally work night and day to make this a reality. Thank God the market exists in Flatonia Texas!

This place is super cute! The people were super friendly and I had fun shopping there. There's also a little liquor store next door with surprisingly good prices on wine. Great little small town store with some added elegance!

Great little grocery store. They have a wide variety of food for sale, from produce, to meat, to other panty staples. Very friendly staff as well.

Really nice! Yummy unique cheeses, giant shrimp, etc. Nice staff, and it's nice to hear Michael bubleé when shopping. We need more little market's like this around here. HEB can be be a pain and they would never carry the cheeses that The Market has. .. Never. I will be back for sure.

What a hidden gem. Hands down, the best market in the area. I was love struck from the moment I walked in. It’s like a version of Whole Foods with the small town charm. Very affordable, too. My new go-place for fresh flowers, eggs and organic produce. Everything is hand selected with love and care. What a true joy to visit. It’s most definitely worth the drive to Flatonia, Texas.

I love that you can get so many diet friendly options here. The meat is such high quality (I don't go anywhere else). The owners of The Market are so kind. When we were down with covid, they did contactless delivery for as long as we needed it! They made us fresh rotisserie chicken and kept us FED!!! We also love that they have Farm fresh veggies.... DELICIOUS fresh heirlooms, onions, potatoes, and lettuce! Not to mention- FRESH FLOWERS!! My fiancé can always bring me a beautiful arrangement. The prepared food is a treat too- that's never been offered in Flatonia. I love this store.

I have been a customer here for a couple of years. They seemed like really nice people. They even offered me a job. I unfortunately couldn't keep it due the virus as my spouse has an underlying heart issue. They promised to mail my check 4 days ago and then stopped responding to my texts when it never came. I stopped in to see what had happened. My check was in a drawer, in an envelope that was never addressed or stamped. They didn't want to cash their own check. It's good Friday, bank hours had ended already. The wife owner Cyndi refused to talk to me, the son Brandon skulked off to avoid me. Finally I dealt with the husband owner Randy. He acted confused for a moment. He dug out his money clip and gave me the dollar amount of my check, loudly announcing it was coming out of his own pocket. Humanitarians... hardly. Good people, not even close.

Very classy mom and pop grocery store and meat market. Also with unique items as well. Send a liquor store next door under the same ownership. Definitely a go to stop when in that neck of the woods

Good meat counter. They will cut to order. They even had the HUGE tomahawk rib steaks today. Very very good wine selection. Everyday groceries ard specialty products.

Real cute market built in the old Migl's Grocery space. Clean, well laid-out. A bit pricey, but nice farm fresh produce and items you'd have to go to Austin for make it a nice pit stop.

The meat counter guy wasn't very friendly.And the other workers acted as if i was not there.I waited at meat counter for over 10 minutes .While workers looked at me.Finally guy comes from back room.with gloves on no mask .Washed the gloves on his hand and proceeded to help me.Most meat was already wrapped but he felt the need to unwrap it and rewrap it all while handling it with his washed gloved hand.Not pleasant at all.With Covid 19 and all else i felt no mask used gloves while serving was enough for me not to go back.Was my first time shopping there and my last.Cashier was young but could have been more friendly and pleasant.

A lot of nutritious things to buy really a gem in our small town of Flatonia tx love this place and the owners are great always ready to help and suggest next to it they are opening a licor store which is great beats the 1hr drive to get the same variety and the prices are competitive as well so I highly recommend this place
