Best fried chicken ever, went there for the first time in a while and I swear it gets better each and every time I go. I don't see why people hate on this small deli, literally taste so much better than any other deli I been too!! Way better than a Walmart deli or heb deli. There fried chicken is the most delicious part along side their lovely Mac and cheese with mash potato's

I wish we had another option in ferris. Food is overpriced on top of inflation and it also tends to be near expiration date. But rather than take the critical reviews to present change they just keep telling us to message them directly via email?. Bruh.

Good for convenience but that's about it. Produce and meat not the freshest and over all beat up or old and expiring. Not many other options in the area, but their affordable I'll give them that. I've been here a few times. Probably worth the drive to ennis or red oak imo. The cut chicken breast I bought today was covered in black metallic like dots so gross. Was pretty shocked how my cashier (young Mexican lady) literally slammed my already beat up produce into the bags today (05/28/23) I probably won't be back unless it's a single item need thing I need to grab

The service is what was shocking I mean I know its hard to keep associates but can't just hiring anyone. The phones and ear buds in the ear do not even greet or thank you for shopping with them. I manage, a store so maybe my expectations are high but without your customers you are unemployed.

Great store, not too small, not oversized, carries a lot of everyday items that everyone uses plus the staff is great, if you are looking for something and don't see it, just ask and if it's there, they will help you.

I'm fairly new to the area and needed some items to do some baking. I ran to the store and picked up some shortening, buttermilk, etc., and decided to try their Deli's hot wings.A cute little lady immediately greeted me when I came to the deli. I told her what I wanted and she was so helpful and got my order for me. She then said do you have any produce, I said "No ma'am"... she decided to ring up my few items at the deli. She even told me how to make my own buttermilk without buying the expensive stuff! Lol I'm not too fond of grocery stores and I don't know anyone here... but to have her talk to me like we've known each other for years and just show good customer service was amazing. I'm going to stop in to see her from now on. Brookshire thank you for employing people like her!

They seem like great people, however seeing the cashiers work harder than the rest kinda sucks. I was shopping one day and the cashier was stocking/facing and even cashiering! I’m surprised how hard they work but I also feel bad.

Great place to get your groceries. Great customer service. Employees always have a great attitude and always polite. The management does a great job at making sure the store is running smoothly. Come and stop by for your grocery needs.

Brookshire Brothers, Ferris, Tx has the BEST fried chicken!!! It costs a little more but oh so worth it!! The ladies in the deli area are so sweet! You know that you're in a local down home store!

Selection has gotten better over the years, but prices have always been pretty bad. You can drive 10 minutes to Red Oak and pay about 30% less for virtually everything on your list.

I really like this small store. Prices are a bit more than big box stores but it has somethings I have never seen anywhere else. Love their deli/small restaurant. Worth the trip for the chicken pot pies.

The store is very nice now since they renovated it. But with the renovation the prices are very high then they were before. Some of the prices on Jess way over the amount that you would feed at any other store. So when I go there to buy something it is usually maybe one two three items.

Very pricey.Anytime i come here, at least one item i buy is expired and i dont realize it until after i get home. I hate this is the only grocery store in this town.No organic meats.Hardly any organic, healthy options.Disappointed.

I love customer owned neighborhood grocers. They give high schoolers the opportunity to work close to home. They still carry out your groceries and help you put them in your vehicle (Big Plus for older generation) Fair prices and great sales with the opportunity to use digital coupons.. Let's Celebrate 🎉

I'm updating my comment because a few months back I received a message from the store's upper management. They apologized and mentioned what they are doing to avoid from this happening again. I recently stopped at their store and it was a pleasant experience.---------------------------We stopped coming to this store a few months back. I was preparing brisket and I needed pineapple juice. My husband went to get it, but at the store he did not know which to pick from. He was about to take a picture of two brands to send to me when the manager approached him very rudely and told him, "No pictures are allowed at my store!" My husband tried to explain, but he wouldn't listen.Now we rather drive to Seagoville or Red Oak to make our purchases.

Good sales at times. Tidy little store & friendly staff. Not a lot of variety but enough to work with. Good desserts to choose from. Closest grocery in that area besides corner stores & family dollar.

They are slightly overpriced, but that is to be expected in a small rural community. The young staff was friendly and attentive toward their clients. The store was clean in appearance and atmosphere.

I like the small size of the store, although it limits choices, easy quick shopping when you don't need a bunch. Do understand that this is brookshires brother's NOT Brookshires (your Brookshires card does nothing for you here). And a little pricey.

Today my wife went to go pick up some items for the house and get some cash back long story short the man Rodney when asked to break the twenty waved his hand in my wifes face to leave shooing her out the store my wife then called me upset and crying because she was embarrassed I then called the store and asked to speak to the Manager and low and behold it was Rodney he the called my wife a liar and hung the phone up on me I did record it though so they couldn't call me a liar as well and will find something to do with that later all in all for asking to break a small bill from a store we spend hundreds of dollars a month at is absolutely ridiculous

Every thing in the store is marked way up , there was a good price on a roast that I was going to purchase I got to the register to pay and was told I had to buy 20 more dollars stuff to get the roast at that price. I paid for the cream of cheese and left the store
