The Onion Shed was very nice today at the Farmersville market. Love the updated flooring and all the vendors.Old time Saturday was awesome. So many vendors, great food, great holiday decor and music.

Cool spot. Was there for a running event and was lucky enough to enjoy the town and take some photos. The trail was very clean and most people were friendly. The weather was great for an outdoor event.

A nice and relaxing place. It's good just to chill there if you got the time, underneath the shed I think needs to be cleaned but overall a great place in my opinion

Great farmers market. I met a sweet vender selling an amazing array of vegetables and fruits. Good prices and I love shopping from local farmers. Support the community.

One does have to appreciate how the town of Farmersville has embraced, preserved, and utilized this loading dock as a symbol of the agribusiness/commerce that established the area.My particular experience is as the "Doc of Rock," the electric bassist for the Blandelles. As a professional musician, I have found the Farmersville Chamber of Commerce and City Manager's staff to be friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. This group of hard-working people has become quite adept at putting on public events and festivals.When there is not a community event taking place, there is a picnic area, park, and hiking (rails to trails) trailhead on location.

We gather here for a homeschool playdate group, but I really wish they had a better playground. It's quite old, and I have a little one who I'd really like to let play here but it's just too unsafe for her. It'd be nice if they updated and also had a smaller climbing/sliding area for little ones! The park across the street is wonderful and has a fence around it, which as a mom of littles is very appreciated!

What a beautiful Park. It has a historic Monument plus the railroad tracks that go by it, and of course the onion shed with the picnic tables. This also includes a great place to ride the bikes on a bike path. This is a great place to have a family outing.

We had a birthday party here. It's a country town and we were under the onion shed. I've only been one time. There was a nice breeze and it's right next to a railroad track, which was entertaining for my 3 year old grandson who happen to just love trains. Only one train passed, but he got to see it up close. Here's the thing, it was peaceful, but it was in a town that is not racially diverse, so certain races may be skeptical. But don't be, give them a chance. This was a nice park in their downtown area. I liked it......so much I gave them 5 stars. They have wasps out there, but there definitely will not be stars deducted because of that. Go here and enjoy yourself.

Great open air farmers, art and crafts market in historic downtown Farmersville. First Sat of every month, 9 am to 3 pm. Lots of different vendors offering a big variety of products, including fresh produce

A great trail head for the NETT bike path! Offers 5 miles (10 miles out and back) of well maintained trail. You can go further if you have the bike for it.

Do you.... like onions? How about a yearning for sheds? Whelp.... this thing only has one of the two BUT rumor has it there are farmers markets on occasion so the planets could align if you're lucky!This venue has been a great community focus for many things though I mostly know it as the registration point for a bicycle race at the start of the NETT (Northeast Texas Trail) which is a rails to trails project for those outdoorsy lovin' folk. Swing on by the Onion Shed for a quick relief from the hot Texas sun. When you're done you have both the NETT and Farmersville Downtown to sooth whatever additional needs you might have (well... within reason that is).

This place is great! The Northeast Texas Trail is right behind the Onion Shed and it is great for runs. Sometimes vendors set up shopin the Onion Shed venue and it can be great to go to!

Old Time Saturday is the first Saturday of October each year. It is a great time for everyone. We go every year and all have a great time adults and kids alike.
